Today's 1st JG rant: Charges of “dictator Trump” a cover to justify violence on the left

In her letter, “Three branches meant to balance each other” of July 21^st, Jane Vorndran claims that PDJT wants to be a dictator. If Vorndran believes her own boloney, she’s dumber than the public school kid who thinks it’s called the Cold War because it was fought in the winter.

My guess is that she doesn’t believe a word of her own garbage.  Rather, she spews such drivel to justify Lefty’s increasingly vile and violent attacks on the president and his supporters.  Take Montana’s blister bag with a flattop - Democrat Sen Jon Tester, he thinks opponents ought to punch PDJT in the face.  Nice.  

I’d pay money to see the fat slob try.  The Secret Service would drop the blimp like Buffalo Bill Cody dropping one of his shaggy-haired name sakes back in the day sending blimp boy crashing to the ground like the Hindenburg.

But the violent tendencies of a bloviating bag of excrement isn’t the violence Vorndran’s dopey charge of a Dictator Trump is trying to cover up.  What she really wants to do is give legitimacy to the Democrat thug army – AntiFa.  These pampered masked thugs descend on peaceful rallies, college speaking engagements and even restaurants frequented by conservative and, like Hitler’s Brown Shirt hoodlums, try to shut them down with violence and do so with the tacit approval of Democratic mayors who order the police to turn a blind eye to the violence.

Such tactics wouldn’t be tolerated if they were used against traditional political opponents.  So fools like Vorndran try to give them top cover by insisting the thugs aren’t challenging a typical politician.  They are challenging a dictator.  It’s all nonsense and Vorndran knows it.   

 

Three branches meant to balance each other out

Ned Calvin (Letters, July 14) needs to go back to elementary school. Congress is not to “support” a president but to provide checks and balances. In other words, not agreeing with everything a president says but keeping things going straight. This is also why we have the judicial system (the Supreme Court).

It takes three legs to hold up a stool. With only one it would fall, the same as a country. Without those three systems in place we would have a dictator, which is what Donald Trump wants to be.

Today’s 2nd JG rant: PDJT is driving them crazy

Re: Dan Klopfenstein’s letter “This president's actions dishonor the office,” of July 20, 2019.

PDJT’s twitter account is like a laser pointer he uses to taunt looney Leftists who act like frenetic cats when he wields the device.  In an effort to get PDJT to put down his most useful and perhaps only tool to fight against a totally warped MSM, anti-Trumpers have referred to his use of Twitter as “un-presidential.” 

Only Leftist hypocrite crybabies and their clown army of “journalists,” “comedians,” and Hollywood “celebrities” could call PDJT the most vile names, make the most vile unsubstantiated accusations against him and openly threaten the President of the United States, his family and his supporters with great bodily harm and then cry foul when PDJT slaps them down with a mere tweet.

Only blind Leftist boob hypocrites with their heads planted so deeply up their backsides that they had to have windows installed in their stomachs so they could see where they were going could look at a record high economy, record high stock market, record high employment, energy independency, record low unemployment and ending a record amount of growth choking government regulation and then accuse the architect of that success of being a “bumbler.”

Only a publicly educated colossal ignoramus or a willfully “uninformed” loser could look at NATO members being shamed into finally coughing up their fair share for their own defense while placing crippling sanctions on Russia, Iran and N Korea as snuggling up to dictators and snubbing allies.

Only “inarticulate” Leftist loons who hate PDJT more than they love the country with an 11 year-old’s understanding of the written language could take offense at PDJT’s tweet stating the obvious – that the American women’s soccer team, that presumably represents the entire country on the world’s stage, should stand for the National Anthem and respect their country.

Apparently, PDJT has made America so great again that even perpetually angry people who don’t much care for her refuse to leave.  Well done, Mr. President.

This president's actions dishonor the office

In his July 7 letter, Dave Cooper takes issue with U.S. soccer player Megan Rapinoe's foul-mouthed refusal to visit the Trump White House. Cooper states it would be an honor to meet the president, even one with whom you disagree. In these two points, I agree with Cooper: I don't care for Rapinoe's language and, as an American, I would be honored to meet the president in almost any case.

But in this case, we have a president who, to begin with, is an inarticulate, uninformed bumbler. He often responds to criticisms with name-calling and unpresidential tweets, many of which are full of inaccuracies and read as though they were written by an 11-year-old. According to a number of news and fact-checking organizations, this president has made more than 10,000 false or misleading statements.

He has snuggled up to some of the world's worst dictators while turning a cold shoulder to many of our longtime allies. This president has dishonored the office of the presidency and the White House far more than one athlete's R-rated comment. Along with Rapinoe, I would find it difficult to meet our current president and feel any honor or national pride.

Lastly, Cooper stated that he hoped that the U.S. women's soccer team would lose 100-0. As we all know by now, our women beat the Netherlands 2-0 in the final and are once again World Cup champions, and that makes me happy. Go USA!

Science means means nothing when it runs up against Lefty's orthodoxy like the X-Y chromosome

This headline on Gateway Pundit tells us everything we need to know about the Looney Left and the decline of Western Civilization: Trans Activist Sues Brazilian Wax Business After Owner Refuses to Shave Her Balls

Let that sink in for a second.  Because of the absurdity of it, “Shave Her Balls”, I laughed out loud when I read the headline.  Then, when I let it sink in, I was forced to recognize “the brave new world” Lefty has forced upon us.  The tranny is the normal one in the headline and the business owner is a racist, homophobic, white supremacist, anti-everything but common sense demonic azzbag that needs to be shamed/sued out of business.  

Okay.  WTF! Now Lefty Loon LBTQEFGHJK pandering virtue signaling doofuses – including all 57 of the declared Dope presidential candidates - have to support this lunacy or be booed off the stage at the next debate.  The so-called party of “science” - that refuses to accept the science of the XY chromosome – is now telling us that we have to shut up and accept the precepts of the mentally disturbed or it will be proof positive that we are racist, homophobic, white supremacist, anti-everything but common sense demonic azzbags that need to be shamed/sued and run out of the country.

I accept and do not doubt for a second that this disturbed man believes he is woman.  What I do not understand is why the world is forced to go along with the fantasy.   Try this thought experiment.  Walk into a Bugatti dealership and tell the sales manager you want three top of the line autos in red, white and blue.  When the finance report comes back and the manager discovers that you have no means to buy one let alone three of the super cars, simply tell him, “I identify as a billionaire, and as such you must give me the cars.”  My guess is that the manager will call BS on that proposition.  No one in their right mind will question that decision.

So why in the world are we forced to accept that this guy is a woman?  Science tells us everything we need to know about this guy.  Medicine tells us he has a mental condition.  Accepting that he’s the “normal” one gets in the way of his treatment.  I’m all for recognizing that this guy believes his own BS.  Like a child that pretends he’s an astronaut, playing along works to a point.  Encouraging a good imagination and fun is okay, but when the kid starts stacking dad’s ammo, firecrackers and reloading powder under a garbage can in preparation for a “moon shot,” responsible people step in and stop the non-sense.  Forcing the rest of us to play along with this guy is nuts and not healthy for anyone.

Destroying the Green New Deal fantasy

The Green New Deal will require a completely new way of thinking plus the “next big thing” to become a reality.  As Demo-Dopes rally to AOC’s side (to avoid being singled out for a primary challenge by one of her whacko acolytes or, more likely, to avoid being called a racist for deviating one mil left or right from the accepted point view on anything of the Nation’s Bartender) the Dopes - who claim to be the “party of science”* - are going to be beaten over the head with immutable knowledge when it comes to energy production.

*NOTE:  Sure the Dopes are the party of science except for when it comes to the X-Y chromosome, global cooling warming change disruption science (in the case of global cooling warming change disruption there is an absolute lack of scientific proof), or when it comes to ultrasound that proves a baby is a baby, or the simple math science of adding a column of numbers until it reaches the sum of 270. 270 is the number of Electoral College votes to WIN the presidency of the United States of America.  Dopes still have not accepted the simple science that PDJT achieved then exceeded that number in the 2016 election.  So sure Dopes are all about science until the science fails to cooperate with their nit wit point of view.  When that happens the Dopes simply announce that “the debate is over” or whoever points to the contradictory scientific evidence is a racist.   

Lex, of the long list of things you nothing about “science” is pretty near the top.  What qualifies you to offer this opinion?  The simple answer is that it’s my blog, but there’s also this awesome article by people who do understand science.  OK, I had terribly hard time getting through it.  It’s long.  It’s detailed.  It’s complicated.  It talks of physics. Still, in the end, it all made perfect sense to my chemo addled brain.   

Here’s Lex cliff notes version.  All of the low hanging fruit in solar and wind generated power has been harvested.  It’s like raking leaves in the fall.  It’s easy to get 80% of them up in an hour or so.  It takes the rest of the day to get the other 20% out from under the shrubs, out of the flower beds and gutters. 

So it is with solar and wind power.  It’s not a matter of being smarter or working harder, longer and faster.  It’s all physics. It was hard to wrap my small mind – whose math skills run out at figuring a tip and balancing a checkbook – around some of this, but the authors make a compelling case. 

I was able to get my mind around the concept of stored energy.  The requirements for stored fossil fuel energy versus that of storing large quantities of solar and wind generated energy using batteries jumped off the page and is simple enough for even the public school kids to get.  As an aside, the authors note the environmental disruption – i.e. the number of tons of earth that would need to be moved to produce the batteries – which is at odds with the supposed goal of the GND.

Now I have heard several times in recent days from people promoting the GND that, “The Chinese are eating our lunch when comes to wind and solar technology.” My advice is to let the Chinese chase that 8 track tape technology of energy production down as many rat holes as they care to.  It’s a dead end.

What it is going to take to make thee GND workable is embracing nuclear power or “the next big thing.”  What’s the next big thing?  I don’t know.  If I did I’d invest in it today – heavily. Hydrogen fuel cells?  I don’t know, but somebody does and big oil is buying up all the patents.  When gasoline goes to $.98 a gallon, you’ll know we’re on the cusp.   

Women's sports dying - Dopes hope to win with hate and anger - good luck with that

This is great.  You’ve come a long way baby.  We are led to believe, by a long line of Hollywood BS, that women are as bad azz as men - that a skinny girl can put a serious beat down on several well trained men and do it without really trying. 

We know it’s BS.  The boy’s under 15 soccer team laid a heinous azz wippin’ on the girls National Team that now demands equal pay for…hmmm…horribly unequal work.  The best woman pro soccer player couldn’t secure the last spot on the worst men's team.  

We know the Hollywood story is total BS because women’s sports at the high school - and soon college levels - is beginning to be dominated by men who feel like women.  I for one cannot wait until women’s soccer is dominated by men who wake up one morning and decide to take pro spots from real women.  They will do it for the money - even if it's a bit less than men who wake up and feel like men.  I cannot wait until Title IX becomes the joke that it has always been.  

Today's JG rant:  Demo-Dopes offer hate and anger little else

In her July 17, 2019 OpEd, Karen Tallian tells us she is really angry.  Of course she’s really angry.  She’s a Democrat.  What aren’t Democrats really angry about these days?  Democrats are the party of perpetual hate and anger. 

The chief target of Democrats’ hate and anger is PDJT.  A two-and-a-half year witch hunt in search of a collusion crime - or any crime - has come up empty.  Instead of rejoicing that the American president didn’t collude with the Russians, Democrats are really angry.

The country has record low unemployment for blacks, Asians, Hispanics, women etc. Instead of lifting up a hallelujah, Democrats are really angry.

The ISIS caliphate is a shell.  Instead of hailing the American military, the Democrats are really angry.

If PDJT walked on Lake Michigan to save a drowning man, instead of proclaiming a miracle, Democrats would beef “Trump can’t swim” and be really angry.

The Democrats’ anger is not reserved for PDJT alone.  A good percentage hate the country and are really angry about patriotism and the founding of the greatest country in the history of the world.

If you fly the Gadsden, Betsy Ross or even today’s American flag, instead of offering a salute, Democrats get really angry and proclaim you a racist.

If you think that the country ought to have a reasonable and well-ordered process for entering the country, Democrats get really angry, proclaim you a xenophobe and send their thug army, AnitFa, to assault you physically. 

I used to be amused at Democrats’ all-consuming hate and anger for PDJT and all things American. Now, after two-and-a-half years of unending rage, it’s just tiresome. 

Exit question:  What is the Democrats’ perpetual state of hate and anger doing to advance the well-being of the American people?

Hoosiers denied for sake of surplus

Indiana just added to its huge surplus. That's good news, and yet I am still really angry.

After the state's year-end close of business on June 30, we had an additional $270 million-plus in unexpected tax revenue over the past three months. The bad news is that the legislature didn't get to spend it.

During the 2019 legislative session, we spent four months working on a budget. Legislators heard testimony from scores of people, representing dozens of programs, all making requests for funding.

As the ranking Democrat on the Senate Appropriations Committee, I worked hard to get some of those programs funded. The list is long, and many of those appropriations were included in the Senate-approved budget.

But here's the way it really works: Only a few people decide what's actually in the “final” budget. They include the House Republican Ways and Means chair, the Senate Republican Appropriations chair and the governor's office, represented by the budget director.

About 36 hours before the final vote, as the budget bill was going through final print, I was called into the office of the Appropriations chair. It was explained to me that all the programs I had spent months pushing for had been cut.

“What?” I asked, incredulous and nearly speechless. “Why?”

With a somewhat sheepish look, it was explained that the Republican supermajority wanted to keep the entire $2 billion-plus surplus.

“But,” I argued, “we all know we do not need that much. Do you know how many programs could have been funded with even $100 million of that money?”

There was no answer.

On behalf of my legislative district, I pointed out that the Army Corps of Engineers needed only $800,000 to fund its proposal regarding beach nourishment. But it was not just that program. Programs and proposals offered by both Democrats and Republicans were cut. Adoption subsidies. The mortgage foreclosure program.

The list goes on and on. Indiana could have easily provided a teacher pay increase of 5% and brought our teachers up to a living salary.

The Republicans chose not to.

And now we receive the news that there is even an additional $270 million, bringing our total surplus to nearly $2.3 billion. What a colossal waste.

We cut our programs and our services by nickels and dimes, meanwhile keeping billions in the bank. What a colossal waste of the time that 150 legislators spent four months crafting a budget, which was simply axed by a handful of Republicans who seem to have a hoarding problem.

Indiana's massive surplus is robbing taxpayers of their money. This makes me really angry.

PDJT forces Peloser to turn her back on America to side with the anti-American losers "the squat"

Lemme just say chemo therapy sucks, and kidney stones suck.  To pile one on top of the other is a rare form of torture that could only have been developed by Ol’ Speck himself from inside the seventh ring of hell, but “that which does not kill us makes us stronger.”  (Nietzsche)  I am stronger today.

Oh no!  They’ve finally got him!  PDJT is toast!  Fox News and a bunch of nervous nelly Rat establishment Republicans are siding with the commie bastards who hate this country that the PDJT called a bunch commie bastards who hate this country. So he’s done – for telling the truth about commie bastards who hate this country.

PDJT is brilliant.  He’s forcing the Demo-Dopes to either grab commie bastards by the belt giving the appearance of the party supporting their crazy anti-American, anti-Semitic rhetoric or kick “the squat” to curb.  Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser is planning on a resolution from the House of Representatives condemning PDJT’s “racist, xenophobic, tweets.”  Now this is the same Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser who “the squat” correctly labeled a racist and who could not bring her ancient wrinkled scurvy butt to condemn squat member Talib’s long history of openly anti-Semitic remarks. Instead, Peloser put up resolution condemning everything from anti-Semitism to jaywalking thereby making the resolution – like everything that comes from congress - next to useless.  I wonder if PDJT will get the same consideration.  If not, the anti-PDJT resolution should dredge up the whole Talib fiasco again.

So according to the swells, PDJT calling out “the squat” for what they are - racist, anti-Semitic, anti-American, low life losers - is going to be the end of PDJT.  Who said, “The truth will set you free”? (John 8:32)  The truth is that PDJT told the truth about “the squat” – except for the “go back where you came from” line in the case of 3 of the 4 squat members.  3 of the 4 are homegrown under-educated D-bags, but on the larger issue, PDJT got it exactly correct.

My guess is that it’s probably a 70-30 split in America of voters who have tired of “the squat” and think someone needs to call them out – enter PDJT.  Well done.  Now, Peloser is boxed in – support America or support “the squat.”  She’s going to support “the squat.”  When that happens, “the squat” becomes the new face of the Demo-Dope Party.  More hilariously, as soon as the resolution is voted on, “the squat” will, correctly, resume trashing Peloser as a racist.    

Now, what the Dopes, the ReFs, Fox News and the MSM have ignored in all of this is the 2 ½ year assault on all things PDJT.  What pejorative haven’t this bunch of losers unleashed on PDJT? They’ve called him a traitor, racist, white supremacist, homophobe, and all the stuff that follows.  There’s not one pejorative name that these losers have not let loose on PDJT.  No one gets called out, nothing – no matter how outrageous - is out of bounds as long as the target is PDJT. But let PDJT tell the truth about “the squat” and all hell breaks loose.

PDJT needs to rally in Ohio this weekend to bring this thing home.  The thing is that all PDJT needs to do is use the actual words of “the squat” to expose them for what they are.  Then let Peloser try to square the circle.  

The unfinished post

I’ve been laid low by a kidney stone.  Here’s the piece I was working before Mr. Stone tried to kill me.  I’ll finish it sometime in the future -- or not.

  

First off, and this very important, the Demo-Dope Party is the party of slavery, the party of the Ku Klux Klan, the party of segregation, the party opposed to Reconstruction i.e. the 13^th, 14^th and 15^th amendments to the US Constitution, the party that opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the party of the violent and fascist AntiFa thug army etc. 

Once those facts begin to penetrate the closed minds of the publicly educated, knowing that the Slowest of all Joe’s – Biden – worked with segregationists makes perfect sense.  Of course he worked with segregationists, because the Dope Party was made up largely of segregationists. Of course creepy rapist and frequent flyer on Jeffery Epstein’s child rape plane, the Lolita Express, Billyboy Billbo Clinton’s mentors - J. William Fulbright and Orville Faubus - in AR were raging segregationists.  They were DEMO-DOPES.  Of course Billbo’s rape enabling wife, Shrillda the Hutt, heaped great praise on a racist clown and former Grand Kleagle of the KKK – Robert Byrd.  Of course Demo-Dopes excuse VA gov and baby murderer Ralph Northam’s racist blackface/KKK Halloween costume. They are all part of the party of racism – Demo-Dopes.

The Demo-Dopes were and remain the committed racists in America today.  However, instead of raising a racist army to lynch blacks, the Demo-Dopes are now openly anti-Semitic, anti-white, anti-European, anti-merit based.  Willie Brown’s part-time whore - Kamala Harris – recently announced a plan to give 100 BILLION OF YOUR HARD EARNED YANKEE DOLLARS to blacks to buy homes.  Transferring funds from one group of Americans to another based solely on skin color is clearly a racist position.  No?     

“The squad” will now and forever more be known as “the squat” on this page.

Of course Grand Nan from San Fran is a racist - she's a Dope

Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser – like most Dopes - is a raging racist.  Don’t take my word for it.  That news comes from the most influential voice in the Dope Party – America’s bar tender herself AOC.  AOC claims Peloser is “singling out progressive women of color.”  So finally the Dopes are pulling the mask back on themselves.  Slowest of all Joe’s – Biden – was called out earlier by Dope for working with segregationists.  Well the truth is that if you were going to work within the Dope caucus you had to work with segregationists, because the majority of the Dope Party was made up of segregationists and racists.

So you have the VP of the first half black president in the history of the United States being accused of racism for working with segregationists and the Dope Speaker of the House being accused of “singling out progressive women of color.”  This is great.  The real racists from the party of racists finally being called out by their own.

As always, Republicans are too slow on the uptake to press the Dope’s intermural firefight for their own advantage.  When Slow Joe was being savaged, I didn’t hear one Republican note that, “of course Slow Joe worked with segregationists.  That’s all there was in the Dope Party.”  I don’t hear any Republican taking advantage of the bind that Peloser finds herself in with “the squad.” Some brave Republican should point out the obvious.  To wit: “Of course Peloser is dismissive of the progressive women of color.  That’s been her position for the last 40 years - milk the minority community for votes then ignore them.  Peloser is a fabulously rich, old, old, old white woman with a healthy dose of white guilt but not enough guilt to ever surrender the reins of power to a younger woman of color.  So ‘the squad’ is just going to have to get in the back of the Peloser bus, sit down, shut up and hang on for the ride.”

It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out in the Dope primary.  Seems to me the Dopes who engage in this type of tribal identity politics are actually slicing themselves a smaller piece of the pie. If “the squad” is going to call everyone who opposes their insane policy proscriptions racist – it’s doubtful that “the squad” will be able to grow its numbers past the current 4 lunatic members.

In the end, this all Peloser’s own fault.  Grand Nan lacked the fortitude to slap “the squad” down for their openly anti-Semitic comments and points of view.  She didn’t slap them down for their foolish grandstanding at hearings they participated in.  So now “the squad” is like the baby alligator you raised in your bath tub.  It was tiny and easy to handle at first.  Then one day you walk into the bathroom and its 6 feet long and over 200 pounds and much more difficult to deal with.  That’s where Peloser finds herself today.  Her pet has grown to the point where it can now eat her, and she doesn’t have clue of what to do about it.  She can feed it to keep it tame.  That will only allow the pest to grow and over time become more dangerous and difficult to kill. She can starve it.  That will make the pest more aggressive and dangerous over the short view. She can kill it off with single shot to the head.  That will confirm AOC’s accusation of racism, and turn the Dope party on its ear.

Well done Grand Nan.  You deserve everything that you are getting times 10.

Ross Perot didn’t cost George Bush 41 a second term.  Bush’s betrayal of his “Read my lips.  No new taxes,” promise did. That’s that.  Ross Perot was a true patriot. The fact that he sucked at politics is a plus in my mind, but it’s also proof he was not the man for POTUS at the time.

I suspect it’ll be a big fat nothing.  He will not answer any questions outside the report from either Dopes or Reps.  So when the Republicans ask about Shrillda the Hutt funding the dirty dossier or any of the other 10,000 questions about Mueller’s bogus report, he will simply say, “That information is not contained in the report, so I cannot comment on it.”   

Dopes rail against the Nation and common sense

We finally found out something Dopes are unwilling to spend money on – celebrating the Nation’s independence.  That’s right Mr. & Mrs. America.  The party that wants to spend your hard earned tax dollars on free healthcare for the world for 35 TRILLION DOLLARS, pay off every bit student debt – even for rich white kids in Ivy League schools I suppose - for 2 TRILLION DOLLARS and fund a New Green Deal to the tune of 94 TRILLION DOLLAR draw the line at few million dollars to celebrate the founding of the country. That’s the same party that is at least half responsible for the country’s 22 TRILLION DOLLAR debt.

This is akin to the father of the bride b*tching about having to tip the parking attendant a five when leaving his daughter’s wedding for which he just plunked down 35k.  It’s ridiculous.  That’s today’s Dope Party.  Money for everything but Americans.    

Two areas for PDJT where less is more

The citizenship question on the census should probably be no more than a page.  The more words the more likely the Dopes will find something to complain about.  They – of course – will complain no matter what, but the less words the less there will be to grasp onto. 

Here’s my run at it: “The American people have a right to know who is in their country.  Therefore, I have directed that 2020 census to ask the simple and appropriate question: ‘Are you an American citizen.’”

Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser has indicated that the question is racist and signals that America is white supremacist country.  Weird.  Saw the meme over the 4^th of July:  America is so great again that even people who hate it won’t leave.  That’s Peloser and a long, long, long line of Dopes.  If they protest that assessment I ask the age old question, “Okay, let’s suppose you don’t hate America, who would your behavior be any different if you did?” Answer: “It wouldn’t be any different.”

Now we can say: America is so great again that even people of color are illegally breaking into a presumably racist, white supremacist country.

The ICE raids are presumably on again for this weekend.  Didn’t they learn anything from the last go around with this issue?  No, they didn’t.  Channel the one good part of Nike for once and just do it.  First off the word “raids” has a terrible and pejorative connotation.  Remember how PO’d we were at the unnecessary “raids” on Paul Manafort’s and Roger Stone’s homes?  I guarantee you the same MSM that rejoiced at or ignored those raids as well as the raid on Chief Gallagher’s home where his kids were held at gun point or the raid to send Elian Gonzales back to Cuba at gun point will rail at any “raid” used to send potential Dope voters out of the country. Just quietly go about the business of picking up the people who have been ordered out by the courts.

Girl's soccer team scraps civility for politics

Not really feeling it today except to rail against the US Girls’ World Cup Team.  1) The team has set sports aside to become totally political.  Team captain Megan Rapinoe decided the team would visit with Chuckles the weeping Clown Schumer, Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser and Village idiot AOC (She may be an idiot but every village needs, nay, deserves a bar tender.), while skipping the White House visit.  Simple questions Meg, why not both?  Why not meet with PDJT and make your case?  Kim Kardashian did with splendid results for her cause.  What are you afraid of?

2) The mythical cry “equal pay for equal work” continues.  Do the WNBA players deserve the same salaries found in the NBA?  Only an idiot would argue that they do.  They are not as talented.  Not one of them could compete on a men’s team.  They do not draw nearly the audience or sponsorship.  So what in the Sam Hill is equal about the two leagues? With exception of the audience, the same is true of girls’ soccer. So if the girls want to demand a larger share of the gate they might have a legit case.  That’s not they are arguing for.  They actually think they are playing the same game at the same level as the men. They aren’t.  The girl’s team got man handled by an under 15 boys’ soccer team 5-2.  They, like every loser ever, protested, “We weren’t really trying.”

3) I wish that someone in the White House would wise up, take Lex’s advice and when one of these teams decides not show up would just fill the White House with fans in the teams’ regalia having a good time.  PDJT should invite 10 girls’ high school and college teams from Trump country to the White House to celebrate women’s soccer.  Give them all Team USA jerseys. Put up goals and have an official Women’s World Cup ball for each girl. Let everyone kick a goal on the White House lawn with an official pic with PDJT and Melania. Then head inside for a Chik-Fill-A feast.

Lex predicts the White House boycotts will end when a Dope returns to the White House and respectful conservatives set politics aside and graciously accept the president’s invitation.  Sadly, “gracious” is not word fund in the #NEVERTRUMP, AntiFa, Resist movements.

Idiot Swalwell is out; top tier Dopes support his platform

I had my 11^th infusion for my pancreatic cancer yesterday.  I’m not really feeling it this morning except to note that the pimple on a pig’s posterior – AKA Eric Swalwell – has ended his boneheaded, stillborn run for the presidency.  Swalwell’s claim to fame was proposing a mandatory gun buy back of certain types of weapons and then insisting that it wasn’t gun confiscation.

It’s more like imminent domain.  The government confiscates your land - at a price the government agrees upon - so the mayor’s brother in law can build a McDonalds to better the economic outlook for the neighborhood. So under Swalwell’s goofy plan the government offers a $100 buy back for certain weapons.  If you own one those weapons you are expected to turn it in.  No it makes no difference if the weapon cost you $600.  Swalwell and the Caligula, D.C. swamp rats have decided what your weapons are worth.  If you decide to keep your weapons, you, Mr. and Mrs. America, are now criminals.

But we’re still not safe America.  When giving his reason for dropping out, Swalwell skipped over the fact that he’s polling at 1%.  Instead he noted that all the top tier Dope candidates support his buy back idea.  Wonderful.

After the US women’s win over the Netherlands Sunday, chants went up for “equal pay.”  Hmm.  One question, can the women compete with the men?  If the answer is no, then it’s not equal work.  But the  women’s soccer players should make the same amount of money as the under 15 Dallas boys soccer team that laid a 5-2 beat down on the US Women’s team back in April.  The women, like any favorite that takes an azz whippin’ from the underdog, claimed they weren’t really trying.  So if they were really trying would they have lost 5-3?  Congrats ladies.

Re: Greg Slyford’s letter “Bad dream sadly mirrors present-day realities” of July 7, 2019. 

It’s not surprising to know that America experiencing the best economy in its history is causing the Democrat Party and its willfully blind PDJT hating followers nightmares.  PDJT’s record breaking economy has led to the most Americans working in history and all-time lows in minority unemployment. 

Other things causing Democrats to lose sleep are PDJT fulfilling his campaign promise to move the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, the demise of the ISIS “caliphate” in the Middle East, a booming stock market, a middle class tax cut, NATO and Middle East allies paying a larger percentage for their own defense, a thaw in US/North Korean relationships, a more equitable renegotiated NAFTA, US energy independence, finally confronting China’s decades of unfair trade practices, boxing in of Iran’s nuclear ambitions, PDJT’s one man effort to secure our southern border, etc. all of which bode well for America and Americans. 

To the extent “our house” is being undermined, the blame can be laid at the feet of Lefty Libs like Slyford who refuse accept reality.  To wit: 1) The laziest most flawed candidate in the history of politics got her ample butt kicked by a political novice in spite of out spending him 3 to 1. 2) The only candidate to hire a foreign national (Christopher Steele) who then colluded with the Russians was the Democrat candidate.  3)  After 2 ½ years and blowing through 40 million dollars, Liberal white knight Robert Mueller and his team of 18 angry Democrats found that neither PDJT nor his campaign colluded with Russia and found insufficient evidence to bring an obstruction indictment. 

Now the lunatic Left, in the hope of getting PDJT on something, anything, stands centuries of Western and American law on its head by clinging to Mueller’s insane notion that if he’s not able to “exonerate” the target of his bogus witch hunt, that target must be guilty of something.

This is all the evidence thinking people need to know that America doing well is the Democrats’ worst nightmare.  How sad is that? 

Bad dream sadly mirrors present-day realities

Recently a bad dream visited me, but it ended with comforting words.

Like many bad dreams I have had over the years, this one seemed to come out of nowhere but, in retrospect, it had been building up for the last couple years.

I dreamed that our country was in deep peril and that it was visible to some – perhaps many – but not all. Many of those most in disbelief to our collective peril had been in their own state of peril for a long time and were looking, longing for a way out.

But in my dream my state of frustration and anxiety was charged because I could see the structural framing of our now house-divided nation on the verge of giving way. Even the once-strong foundation upon which our strong democratic house was built was crumbling before my dream-state eyes.

In my dream, what frightened me most was the knowledge that the source of our collective peril was in plain sight. What we had to fear was not fear itself, but the president himself. In other words, the emperor who had no clothes on or the elephant in the room was whom we had to fear.

While our nation was on the verge of crumbling, our president was undermining our house, our home, our nation by using language unheard of heretofore at a pace designed to confuse and confound.

To him, the enemy of the people was the free press. Their news was fake news. The FBI, the CIA, the Federal Reserve, the EPA, our past president, our past secretary of state, even war heroes long-held in captivity – all were part of a deep-state conspiracy as voiced by this emperor-president.

But bad dreams inevitably run out of steam and, with the light of day and the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., so did mine. Yes, King made a cameo appearance in my dream and he left me in a more comfortable dream-state. For it was he who said, “Relax, my brother, no leader of the free world would say such things. You are dreaming.”

Then I awoke to reality.

First the kill joy left tries to steal Christmas, now they focus on ruining Independence Day

When I was watching PDJT’s salute to America last night, it occurred to me that people protesting the program – Demo-Dopes – were like the humorless scum that protests Christmas or a memorial cross on the side of the road.  They are just kill joy azzbags of the highest order. 

One of those virtue signaling azzbags got a feature article in the local fish wrap.  He used his opportunity not say the truth – flaws and all America is the greatest that there’s ever been.  Instead he whined about the father who drowned his daughter trying to break into the country.  He misuses the words of the Declaration of Independence to support open borders and confers the power of law on a poem places on the Statue of Liberty.  He’s an idiot.  Lex offered up this response.    

RE: Shaun Brattain’s article, “Independence Day, 2019” of July 3, 2019

First off, I don’t know why Brattain weeps and whines about conditions on the southern border.  The whole of the Democrat Party has assured us that there is no crisis at our border with Mexico.  Are they all liars?

Second, what is the El Salvadorian government’s responsibility for driving its population north to escape its failed, corrupt, socialist state? 

Third, what is the Mexican government’s responsibility in the drowning of the man and his child?  The victims crossed illegally into Mexico.  Then the Mexican government facilitated their trek north.  Last, the victims entered the river and drown on the Mexican side of the border.

Forth, what is the man’s responsibility for recklessly endangering the life of his child? He may not have been a “bad hombre,” but was a negligent father.  If Brattain packed up a 23 month old child, left home on foot to travel a 1,000 miles with no money, food or water - Child Protective Services would snatch that child up and probably throw Brattain in jail.  

Fifth, no one being “detained in cages” is being held against their will.  They can return to their country of origin upon request.  DHS doesn’t normally stand in the way of illegal aliens who want to self deport.

Sixth, it’s odd that that the people weeping at the conditions at DHS illegal alien holding facilities are the exact same people who cheer Democrat politicians who withhold funds and protest Wayfair for providing equipment to improve those conditions.

Seventh, a poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty is not the law.

Eighth, Brattain’s loose understanding of the Declaration of Independence can probably be traced to his public education.  The Declaration was written for America, Americans and their posterity.  It is not an invitation to the population of the entire world to cross illegally into the country.

This list could go on into the twenties or thirties.  Here’s the bottom line.  Beyond using them as a political cudgel with which to beat PDJT over the head, Brattain, like most woke Democrats who “resist” PDJT, couldn’t care less about illegal alien migrants.  If they did, they’d demand Democrats end open borders, end sanctuary cities and change asylum laws all of which act as magnets for illegal aliens like the drown father and daughter.  At a minimum they’d demand Democrats fund DHS at levels necessary to accommodate the tidal wave of illegal aliens that the Democrats have encouraged.

Instead of proposing real solutions, Lefty prefers to engage in virtue signaling stunts a la AOC weeping fake tears at a fake detention center, or penning a virtue signaling letter claiming to have wept at the plight of an illegal alien to prove that they just care more than you.  They don’t.  The proof is that they do nothing to alieve the situation that they created.

Independence Day, 2019

I was recently asked by my employer what the Fourth of July looks like to me. The context was “how patriotic does your celebration look? Are there guns being fired? Do the A-10s flying training missions add to your celebration? Is Toby Keith playing in the background?” Things of this nature. It was meant to be a feel-good piece.

The company I work for does this on a regular basis, and it goes a long way to boost morale and build a family atmosphere. I'd say I'm quite fortunate to work for a company that makes things like this a priority.

However, this particular post didn't have the effect it normally does for me. Earlier that morning before I came to work, I was in tears because I woke up to an image of a young father and his 23-month-old daughter lying face down in the Rio Grande. His only crime was seeking a better life for his family. His only crime was seeking for his family the freedom we are all about to celebrate.

He wasn't a “bad hombre.” He wasn't “a rapist, or a murderer.” He wasn't a member of MS-13; in fact, he was fleeing fromMS-13.

So, I decided to frame my response not as what the Fourth of July looks like to those who were handed freedom, but instead what the Fourth of July looks like to those who seek freedom so desperately that they are willing to risk everything to get it. This was my response:

Imagine waking up on the fourth of July, but you are waking up in a cage. Imagine waking up on the fourth of July, but you are waking up in a tent city line you've been in for weeks or months on end. Imagine waking up on the fourth of July, but you have no clue that it's the fourth of July because you've been walking for thousands of miles to escape violence and tyranny. Imagine waking up on the fourth of July, and you have no clue where your children are because they have been kidnapped from you because you crossed an imaginary line. Then imagine how you would feel when the people who kidnapped your children take the day off to celebrate the very freedom you were seeking to give your family.

At some point in time, all of our families here at [insert name of any company in America] (with the exception of a very few whose families have always lived here, or the minority of people whose families were brought here against their will) undertook this same journey for freedom. A journey for the proverbial Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

You see, we have a very big problem here in “the good ol' USA.” We seem to have forgotten the most important part of the “Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness” line from the Declaration of Independence. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (humans) are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.” “Self-evident” means these rights are so obvious that they shouldn't need to be written down and every human has them by virtue of being human.

Therein lies the problem, ladies and gentlemen. What Americans are currently doing at our southern border is in direct contrast to this very line. To get around it, they look at these people as subhuman. They have to, otherwise their Fourth of July celebration would be rife with hypocrisy (not that that seems to be a problem with today's culture).

The discharging of firearms, war planes and getting “a boot up your ass” mean something very different to those who seek freedom. And I find that very ironic coming from a country that was founded by immigrants. A country whose only real claim to greatness has been its willingness to accept the “tired, poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free. The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.” These are the real people who made America great. What we are doing now in the name of freedom is nothing short of an embarrassment.

To answer the question, what the Fourth of July looks like to me this year is this...
