Rush Limbaugh is running Operation Chaos (OC). The goal of OC is to create confusion among Dems and bloody both Dem candidates so as to make it easier to defeat the Dem nominee in the fall.
OC started back before the OH and TX primaries when it looked as if B-HO was going to sail to the nomination without a glove ever having been laid on him. Rush urged Reps to switch parties and vote for Mrs. Clinton. The idea then was to bloody the “messianic” B-HO up before the general. Who better to do that than the Clintons? After all, McCain had made it clear that he didn’t have the stomach for hardball politics with anyone but his “fellow” Reps.
So Mrs. Clinton took OH and TX by wider than expected margins. Then with OC in full swing and B-HO’s bitter clinger comment, she took PA in a landslide. Recently all heck has broken lose with the exposure of B-HO’s 20 year association with an anti-American, Jew hating, Whitey hating “pastor.” Now, the pastor refuses to shut up and B-HO can’t say enough to condemn him.
As a result, B-HO has plunged in the polls. Mrs. Clinton looks sure to take IN. She is closing the gap in NC. She has taken a lead nationally in some polls. Mr. Shrillary Clinton is talking about a popular vote victory before the convention – she’d need FL and MI votes for that scenario to play out. Then, as Bubba said, “what are they going to do?” Chaos will reign in Denver!
On the anniversary of President Bush’s “Mission Accomplished” speech aboard that carrier, is it too risky to say that OC has achieved its goals? Yet many in the Rep camp are going weak in the knees. What if Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination? It’ll be all Rush’s fault. They want to change horses now that B-HO is bloodied up.
Choosing the Dem nominee is not goal of OC. The goal is to create chaos among the Dems. Right now there is little or no chance of Mrs. Clinton getting the nomination legitimately. The only way she can win is if SuperDelegates steal it from B-HO. If the SuperDelagates steal it from the black guy, the black vote will dry up in Nov. As one black leader said, “if they steal it from B-HO, we’ll make in rain for McCain in Nov.”
One of these two is going to win. It might as well be the most qualified one and the one that will cause the Dems the most heartburn getting there.
Finally, look who is available: Dem Lite (McCain), Triangulating Dem (Shrillda Beast) and Lunatic Dem (B-HO). We should hope for a race between the two candidates that are least likely to run the country off a cliff.
