Father Dan’s response to this ITF threat is totally Catholic “love is the only answer”; “fear not, welcome all”, but he only quotes the scripture after assuring “…that St. Vincent’s has in the congregation at our Masses – both on the weekends and during the week – men and women specially trained and authorized to serve in the municipal, county, state and federal levels of law enforcement.”  Emphasis was added by Lex and is, in my opinion, a not so thinly vailed indication that there will be congregants under arms at every Mass.

It kind of reminds of the old days when a kid would call you names knowing the whole time his behavior was contingent on his big brother backing him up.  Father Dan is not like that.  I believe he’d walk into a vipers den with nothing but his faith to protect him, but he knows not everyone has his strength of faith, so he offers assurances of worldly security to match his spiritual security.

I’m of the opinion that if the ITF are going to gun you down there’s no better place than a church where you’ll die a martyr and given on the spot salvation.  Let's face it that's the only way some of us are going to make it.  Second best place to get shot by an ITF would be in the lobby of a hospital.  Third is in a tasting room somewhere along the bourbon trail.

All of this comes as ISIS is issuing warnings of attacks on the US and the west much worse than 9-11 and the Paris attacks – attacks that will turn “children’s hair white.”  Say on any given Sunday at 10 o’clock ITF all across America rise up in 100s of churches amid unsuspecting congregations and start shooting?

Well I’ve gotta give credit where credit is due.  Congratulation to The Empty Suit and our open borders Catholic bishops.  When you feel like you have to have a gun in your pocket when heading off to church, you know they are rapidly turning America into an armed camp ready for invasion and or revolution.

I have no idea how this will turn out.  My sense is that Trump will be a huge winner or huge loser.  It will be outside the margins of polls in either case.  My sense right now is that it will be Trump big.  Here’s why. I was with friends Saturday and they were ALL Trumpsters.  When Mrs. Lex mentioned I favored Cruz, they descended on me as if I were an unhinged lunatic – a far right out of touch reactionary.  Well okay then.  If ALL of these people are going for Trump, there just might be a movement afoot.  One said that he thought Trump's polling was actually low because a lot of people don’t want to admit their support for Trump publicly.  And that’s why the hedge.  The caucuses are essentially public votes.  Maybe if you’re at a caucus where you’re seriously outnumbered you don’t raise your hand for Trump.
