5 Questions for Carl Jylland-Halverson – Column of Oct 13, 2019, “Kurds’ sacrifice makes US betrayal demoralizing”

Who is our NATO ally, Turkey or the Kurds?

What was the mission ten years ago when President Obama committed troops to Syria – something he said he’d never do 18 times - defeat/contain ISIS or protect the Kurds?

Which Kurdish factions, who are often at each other’s throats, are our allies/ally -  the Christian Yazidis; the communist PKK (Kurdish Workers’ Party); the communist linked and most powerful Kurdish faction in Syria the PYD (Democratic Union Party); the SDF (Syrian Defense Forces) a Kurdish umbrella force established by the US?

We’ve been in the middle of a Syrian civil war for ten years, how much longer would Jylland-Halverson have American troops policing Syria and the Turks to protect the Kurds?

Various Kurdish factions have been waging war on Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria since the end of WWI (1918 for the public school grads) when the geniuses that negotiated the end of that war failed to provide the Kurds a homeland when they carved up the Middle East.   Would Jylland-Halverson and his ilk be willing to make a WWII type commitment to protect the Kurds – the duration of the conflict plus 6 months – and deploy to Syria to enforce what is sure to be a generation’s long commitment?

The word “betrayal” keeps popping up with those in favor of the continuous war in Syria and the Kurds.  That word or loyalty, or honor, or integrity has little or no meaning to a large portion of the people involved in the 8 way sh*t show that’s going on today in Syria. There have already been so many deals and side deals made between the players you’d need an Ouija Board to figure out who’s on whose side. I guarantee you the Kurds would kick us to the curb the instant if they got a better deal.

Kurds' sacrifices make US betrayal demoralizing

I wish I could say I was shocked to read that President Donald Trump had betrayed our Kurdish allies in Syria. Sadly, I was not.

America supporting strongmen or dictators over allies has been a familiar theme lately. Further, Kurdish history is one of unmet potential.

Kurds are a distinct ethnic group. There are about 40 million Kurds residing in Iran, Turkey, Iraq and Syria. They are the largest stateless minority in the world. Kurds are a proud people holding on to their history (the Sultan Saladin, multiple caliphs, and distinctive art, music, dress and food). However, to the four states that are home to Kurds; they are viewed as a threat to national integrity.

My experience with the Kurdish people was in participating in a medical mission to Kurdistan Iraq in 2017. There I provided psychosocial services in camps for internally displaced people. Specifically, I worked in camps in Kurdish territory that served Iraqi Arabs fleeing ISIS.

I was impressed with the Kurds' willingness to serve Iraqi citizens who were not Kurd. This inclusion extended to the Peshmerga or Kurd militia. They included Kurds, Arab Muslims, Christians and Yazidi.

The mission also brought me face to face with the lethality of ISIS.

I realize the president pulled our troops out of Syria, not Iraq, and that there are differences between Kurdish communities. However, the so-called Caliphate of ISIS was a large swath of land including cities, villages and countryside in northern Syria and Iraq. I was in the internally displaced people's camp in Kurdistan that was the first stop for Iraqis escaping ISIS-held Mosul. Mosul was the city in which ISIS had declared its caliphate.

The people arriving at the camps were starving. They were in shock and they feared that ISIS members had escaped with them. I met multiple escapees daily who had been tortured during their captivity. The atrocities they endured would scar families for decades if not generations.

While driving, we had to pay attention to the colored rods planted along the roadside. These indicated where improvised explosive devices, both live and spent, were. They numbered in the thousands and went on for miles.

We drove though villages that had been destroyed by ISIS. We could not enter the buildings because the Peshmerga had not had time to remove the dead.

I was in Mosul the day before allied forces began their push to liberate the Old City from ISIS.

This was at the end of Ramadan. The residents of Old Mosul had to mark the breaking of the month-long fast by eating grass and cats.

I was at the medical center closest to the front line. Helicopters were dropping bombs and, as we drove into the city, we had to unbuckle our seat belts so we could escape our vehicles if we encountered sniper fire. As I interviewed people, I could hear the gunfire behind me.

The first day of the door-to-door fight to liberate the city witnessed 3,000 people escaping to freedom. ISIS responded by sending suicide bombers to open markets. My colleagues' memories of the push for liberations was of beginning the day by filling body bags.

Many of my colleagues volunteering at humanitarian nongovernmental organizations in Mosul moved into Syria as allied forces made up of Kurdish militia fought to liberate the capital of the ISIS “caliphate,” Raqqa. I attended religious services in seven different churches in Kurdistan. Many of the congregants were Christians who fled ISIS-held territory and found refuge in Kurdistan.

I understand that, in this part of the world, there are no simple answers. Turkey fears Kurds in Turkey will seek an independent Kurdistan. They view the Syrian Kurds as terrorists. These very same Kurds have fought with Americans to bring an end to the ISIS tyranny. In the process thousands of Kurds have died, and many more people have benefited from this sacrifice.

We are now turning our backs on allies who freely expressed their love for America. We are turning our backs on allies who fought both al-Qaida and ISIS alongside American troops. We have turned our backs on the Kurds who hold 10,000 ISIS prisoners.

I pray the ensuing chaos does not lead to a reinvigorated ISIS. This is a land of long memories. Our discarding of our Kurdish allies will be remembered for generations.

I remember the men, women and children whose broken lives I have tended to; with whom I have laughed and cried and broken bread. I think of the Syrian refugees I have sat with as they shared their stories of violence and loss. I pray for their safety and I pray they somehow find it in their hearts to someday forgive our expedient betrayal.

Re: JG editorial “Pollution-crime link reinforced in newest study” of Oct 12, 2019

If the study linking crime to pollution is accurate, the 400 or so most violent and crime ridden cities in the world should be in China.  Is that the case?  Or does this study, like all “climate change” studies, have as its sole purpose the hobbling of capitalism?

Pollution-crime link reinforced in newest study

Violent crime rates and what to do about them are part of every election-year discussion. So is pollution, as the challenge of climate change looms.

Now a study suggests those issues could be linked.

Analyzing air-pollution data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and violent crime statistics from the FBI, researchers at Colorado State University and the University of Minnesota found that increases in the level of particulate matter or ozone in the air may correspond with an increase in violent behavior, the Economist reported this week.

The scientists refrained from speculating on why, and they cautioned that other factors not identified in their study might come into play as well.

“This is not the first time researchers have identified a relationship between pollution and crime,” the British news magazine noted. “In the 1970s America banned lead-based paint and began phasing out leaded petrol; two decades later, crime fell. Many researchers now argue that the two developments were linked.”

The researchers speculated that reducing particulate and ozone pollution could potentially reduce the number of assaults, the Economist reported. The costs of pollution reduction therefore might be offset by savings on medical care, police investigations and workforce productivity.

There's nothing like a PDJT rally

Oh my, the crooked as hell Biden crime mob took an azz whippin’ last night, and it was wonderful.  PDJT indicated that the only thing Slow Joe has been good at during his 50 year public career is kissing Barry The Empty Suit’s azz.  It’s funny because most people - even the Dopes - know it’s true.  When PDJT refines the remark for future rallies he should indicate Slow Joe is good at two things, kissing TES’s azz and shaking down foreign leaders for his no talent spawn who PDJT correctly called a loser.

Hunter was booted from the Navy for being a druggie. That’s weird.  What’s weirder is that admitted drug user Hunter the loser got into the Navy at age 43.  WTF?  The max age for Navy recruits is now 39.  Waivers for non-prior service recruits for the Naval Reserve is 40.  So all you 43 year olds show up the Navy recruiting office today and try to enlist and see what happens.  I’d also like to see where Hunter the loser went to Navy office training. The POS got something called a “direct commission.”  My guess is that means the loser’s requirement for officer training was waived.  But no matter, a mere month after his commissioning, Hunter the loser’s voracious appetite for illegal drugs got him booted from the Navy before he learned how to salute.  Good riddance, loser.

PDJT continued to troll the Biden crime mob when he proposed a new t-shirt, “Where’s Hunter?”  The creepy loser is probably out trying score some crack in a back ally or drying out in a rehab facility somewhere.  The incurious MSM has avoided locating Hunter the loser to answer questions like, “What skill set do you have that makes you a legitimate candidate to sit on the board of a Ukrainian energy company or to receive a 1.5 billion dollar investment for a fly-by-night finance company from the Chinese?” Simple enough.  The answer is one word: “None.”  The truth is: “My worthless lying, thieving, cheating, dumb as a rock old man was Vice President, so we cashed in on that.”     

PDJT went on to scare the hell out of the Dopes by linking MN Dopes to anti-American azzbag Ilan Omar the lying cheat of a congresswoman who married her brother to defraud the immigration system. He read several of her comments.  None can be wished away by the Dopes.  The ads for MN write themselves using Omar’s own words.  She might be Slow Joe’s sister because she, like Slow Joe, isn’t very smart. She’s completely unhinged.  So MN may boil down to this, Dopes for Omar Vs. Americans for America.  That theme could go nation-wide, Dopes for the Squat Vs. Americans for America.  PDJT is going to hang those clueless anti-American buffoons around the Dopes neck and beat them like a rented mule.

While PDJT was having a love fest with his supporters and cops inside the arena, an unemployable mob of Dopes were spitting on, throw bag of urine on and pelting cops with objects outside the arena.  Every Dope candidate should be asked if they have ever had anything like that happen at one of their rallies where Trump supporters show up and harass their crowd and disrespect the cops.  The answer is no.  Trump supporters have jobs and couldn’t care less about the Dope field of socialist/communist candidates or the pathetic losers who show up at their rallies.

PDJT has discovered gold.  He should continue to show up in the belly of the beast.  It’s a twofer.  He’s gets the great America loving rally inside and the Dopes showing their true anti-America rioting AntiFa mob colors outside. Philly, Detroit, Madison, etc. Should all be put on PDJT’s schedule.

Kurds Vs. NATO

All the smart people in Caligula, D.C. ask, “Why would anyone help us after the way we treated the Kurds?”  Answer:  Money and arms. Even the Kurds will welcome us back if we give them money and arms – which we’ve already have done in spades.  We can continue to do that. 

The smart guys all say we have so few troops in Syria we shouldn’t worry about it – unless it’s your son being killed.  Well the counter is if we have so few troops there the Kurds can get along without them.  How about we give the Kurds sufficient money to replace our active duty troops with Blackwater type contractors?

How about we take troops out of Germany for every troop deployed in one of these sh*t wars? 

How about all of these gung ho Caligula, D.C. REMFers ruck up, move out and draw fire in a sh*t hole like Syria.

The other thing that is getting short shrift in all of this is that this is an intramural fire fight between two allies – one a formal NATO ally the other some guys that helped us out because it was in their best interests to do so. For some reason the guys helping out because it advances their own interest are the heroes.  Consider this, what if the Kurds sidle up to the Rooskies and take on a NATO ally Turkey?  What then?  Are the Caligula, D.C. smart guys going to declare war on the Kurds?  Hell yeah, PDJT should call the smart guy’s bluff.  “Hey, smart guys, if you think we should be backing the Kurds over our NATO allies, the Turks, take a vote and declare war on Turkey.” How absurd would that be?

I wouldn’t mind any of it if we were in it to win and get the hell out.  We don’t ever do that.  We’re still in Germany for crying out loud.  We’re pretty screwed.  We know we cannot trust anyone in the Middle East – save Israel.  We know we cannot trust anyone in Caligula, D.C. – save PDJT.  We know we cannot rust anyone in the intel community – save…well we cannot trust anyone in the intel community.

Shock poll 51% want PDJT impeached is BS
If it were true Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser would be holding a vote this afternoon.  She isn’t. Word is 80% of Dopes favor impeachment.  My guess is that 90% of the 80% think impeachment means that PDJT will be frog marched* out of the White House and straight to Leavenworth. As I recall polls had Shrillda the Hutt winning in a landslide in 2016 election.  How’d that work out?  Plus how may PDJT supporters voted for impeachment to make the Dopes go record and further wreck Sloe Joe Biden's campaign?

*NOTE:  Still don’t know what a frog marching looks like.  It’s a term the bad Joe Wilson invented and applied it to Karl Rove during the fake Valerie Plame non-outing outing investigation.  It sounds cool, so Lex uses it.  If you have video of frogs marching, please send it in.

The NBA and China
I don’t give a sh*t. Both are F’ed up in my book.  The NBA is a one of a kind commodity.  They don’t have to take crap from China.  Where’s China gonna go to get the NBA?  The WNBA?  Euro ball?  I think the NBA is so full of it.  They boycott NC because the people there voted not to let perverts like Billbo Billyboy Clinton into the girl’s bathroom.  My guess is 90% of NBA players would beat the sh*t out of any perv they found the women’s room with their daughter or wife.  But NC is out of bounds for passing a law that accomplishes the same thing.  They refuse to go to the White House, but they French kiss China’s red azz over sneaker sales. What a bunch of pimps.  And does anyone know why they take those two weeks off between seasons?

PDJT fights back

PDJT leveled Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser, shifty Adam pencil neck Schi(t)ff, et al with a letter that essentially told them all to get bent if they expect cooperation from the White House on their BS witch hunt.  I love it.  You can bet Mitt would have bent over and grabbed his ankles, begging them to be gentle if the losers tried to impeach him.  PDJT gave them the finger and told them to go to hell. 

Now the entire thing is going to end up in court.  The Dope rush to impeach has had the breaks applied by PDJT standing up to the azzwipes.  The Dopes are going to have to defend a process where an anonymous witness gets to testify in secret and cannot be cross examined by the accused.  A BS scenario that child of 8 can recognize is unfair.

That scenario has been set up by Peloser by not holding a vote in the House.  She claims that the rules nor the constitution require a vote.  She’s right.  The only thing requiring a vote is a sense of fair play that the same child of 8 can understand.  Also, the constitution say that “the House” can impeach.  That sort of implies the entire body rather than an unhinged few in the Dope leadership. 

PDJT is on solid ground when he calls for a vote.  Again something the same child 8 can understand.  Why not vote?

PDJT is well inside the Dopes decision cycle.  He cancelled the UN Ambassador’s House testimony at the last possible moment leaving egg all over Schi(t)ff’s ugly lying mug.  All he could do is whine to his allies in the MSM.   

Vaping
The suburban moms, we’ll call them sub-moms because that’s what they are subpar moms, want the government to ban vaping so Jr can’t vape.  What ever happened to the good ol’ fashion azz whippin’ if Jr got caught with the old man’s Camels?  Are we going to ban beer and booze because Jr got into the folks liquor cabinet?  Parents don’t want to parent.  They are happy to make the government the heavy and F- everyone else’s rights as long as sub-mom doesn’t have to be the one to tell Jr “No vaping or you won’t see the car or 10 cents from us for a month.  Got it?  Love it. Learn it.  Live it, or else.”  Sadly, the kids seem to have more sense than the parents these days.

Pulling the troops out of Syria - promise made; promise kept

Quick, state the mission of US forces in Syria.  (Play Jeopardy music.) My guess is that few if any can, with any degree of certainty, come close. 

Caligula, D.C. ruling class swells are aghast that PDJT has the nerve to keep another campaign promise and bring American troops home from Syria.  The first question to these nervous Nellies is the same as above.  My guess is that the swells are as clueless as the rest of us as to what the mission of the US forces in Syria is today.

If they stumble upon it and state it as: ”To keep bad things from happening in our absence” then we can move onto other questions.  But first we have to note, that is an incredibly open ended bottomless pit commitment. 

So Mr. & Mrs. Smartypants, what is the desired end state for Syria?  The original mission - destruction of the ISIS caliphate?  Dare I say “mission accomplished.” To keep it bay in the future?  That requires a nearly constant presence for...well forever.  

What is the long-term national interest of the US in Syria and its ongoing civil war?  Some idiot might say, “Promote Middle East stability.”  Okay, while we’re at it maybe we’ll find Bigfoot, Santa Clause and Easter Bunny. We can act as a counter-weight to Iran.  Hmm, maybe we could be better counter-weight against Iran if we just sunk their navy and shut down their capacity to refine oil.

Well we need to protect our allies, the Kurds.  Maybe we can provide the Kurds sufficient arms to allow them to protest themselves.  Maybe we can assure economic disaster on anyone (Turkey) that messes with them. Maybe we can understand that the grievances between the Kurds and the Turks goes back generations and our commitment to “protecting them” will last generations into the future, if that’s the mission.  Maybe we’ll learn the Kurds use us as much as we use them.  If the Kurds are our allies, the old adage “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” comes to mind.  Let's not sugar coat it.  The Kurds, like everyone in the Middle East, are duplicitous as hell, and they are in addition commie loving “allies.”  

If this is a long-term national security issue, what we need to do is establish a rapid reaction force afloat in the region or some other force projection option callable of quickly establishing an American presence wherever needed.  Why do we always have to have boots on the ground acting as targets and a source of propaganda for militant Islam?  We have many tools of national power.  Why is the military the only one the nervous Nellies want to employ in this case?

Everyone involved in this - the Turks, the Rooskies, the Iranians, the Syrians and Kurds – are all playing diplomatic/military/propaganda triple bank shots to advance their own cause and hurt us.  None give a crapola about America or the American serviceman past what we can do for them.  Once that is accomplished they will drop us like a hot rock and call us satan in the process.

Lex’s bottom line: I’m all for killing Islamo Terror Fascists wherever they pop their ignorant trapped in the 12^th century heads up.  It’d better if our “allies” in the region did it.  None are committed to killing ITF excrement heads.  So until they are, we are now energy independent.  F- ‘em all.

Re: Headline “Quagmire for Trump deepens” of Oct 7, 2019.

Quagmire?  Like the quagmire the media found itself in when it grossly mischaracterized every aspect of the whistleblower’s complaint? 

Or the quagmire Joe Biden and his son now find themselves in?  Whose political career is closer to being over as a result of the whistleblower, Joe Biden’s or PDJT’s?

Or the quagmire Adam Schiff now finds himself in after a raft load of lies have finally caught up with him?

Or the quagmire Nancy Pelosi finds herself in after lying about hearing of the accusations “from open sources” and then lied about Schiff’s fantastical made up reading of the transcript as being accurate?

Or the quagmire the Democratic Party finds itself in with its nominees?   The front runner has been exposed for the lying, thieving corruptocrat that he is.  The runner up has told more tall tales about herself than you’ll find in a book of Chinese folklore.  Bernie’s on a gurney etc. etc.

PDJT has already exposed three top Democrats as liars and since the scandal is about corruption, surely Hillary Clinton is bound to be involved in some aspect. 

Trump quagmire?  Ha!  You gotta be kidding yourself.  PDJT thrives on this stuff.  We've seen this cartoon before.  PDJT will be standing amid scores of Democrat carcasses when this is over.  The MSM will lay flattened under another Acme anvil intended for PDJT, and it'll be hilarious.

Colossal dumbazz quid pro quo Slow Joe Biden stumbles into the truth

His Slowness – Joe Biden, referring to PDJT, said, "You won't destroy me, and you won’t destroy my family.”  Slow Joe’s right.  PDJT isn’t going to destroy Slow Joe and his corrupt know nothing, do nothing, be nothing azzwipe of a son.  Slow Joe and his druggie dope son are going to do that all by themselves.

The two Biden azzweasels are guilty as hell of corruption.  Slow Joe – ever the self-aggrandizing dumbazz - is on tape bragging about it.  His no talent worthless doper son made millions peddling Slow Joe’s name and influence.  They had to market Slow Joe’s name and position because like his totally F’ed up spawn, Slow Joe is a talentless POS elected to office by idiots in Delaware and then picked off the political garbage heap by Lil’ Barry OB to be his VP.

Slow Joe – like Heap Big Chief Lies Her Azzoff Lizzy Warren – has a Walter Mitty complex.  His life is so F’ed up based on his below mental acuity that he just makes sh*t up.  Fortunately the dumbazz is too stupid to make up stuff that cannot easily be fact checked. 

After telling a reporter that he (Slowest of all Joes) had a higher IQ than the reporter*, Slow Joe backed it up by telling the reporter he (colossal dumbazz Slow Joe) graduated in the “top half” of his law class.  He didn’t.  The stupid sh*t graduated 76^th of 85.  Instead of parleying his pathetic finish into a “pick yourself up by your bootstraps”; “come from behind victory”; “your story isn’t over until it’s over”; “worked my backside off to better myself” story, Slow Joe, as always, took the easy way out and lied.  Like his pathetic lie about playing on the U of Delaware football team, the lie was easily exposed.

*NOTE:  It’s unlikely the Slow Joe has a higher IQ than any functioning human being.

Instead of exposing the lie and holding the lying azzweasel accountable, the MSM responds by giving the dumbazz a pass with an “Aww that’s just Joe being Joe.”  They are correct.  Too bad for them “Joe being Joe” means Joe being lying d-bag poseur. 

As an average guy my entire life*, I take great offense when a loser from the bottom third claims to be “average.”  Hey, respect the bell curve SFB.  You’re a bottom feeding less than mediocre lower third POS. Embrace your below average intelligence, savvy, drive, and talent you worthless loser.

*NOTE II:  I have my 17^th chemo infusion tomorrow, which led a friend to remark, “Lex, an average man with an above average tolerance to chemotherapy.”  Everyone has one special talent.  It took contracting cancer for me to discover mine.

PDJT isn’t going to “destroy” these two mental midgets.  The two mental midgets are going to destroy themselves.  They don’t have the talent to navigate the questions that arise from their crooked dealings.  Right now the focus is on Ukraine.  Soon it’ll shift to China.  Rudy told Fox that there are also cooked dealings in Romania.  Slow Joe’s demand that reporters “ask the right question” is going to crash down on his empty head if they ever decide to take him up on that mandate.

The second blower is coming out
I don’t get it.  The transcript is out.  What is a second blower going to add?  We’ll see.  I look at this as piling on.  If you don’t have anything, you just keep jumping onto the pile. 

Rat establishment Republicans
Lex opined that PDJT’s biggest problem wasn’t the Dopes.  It was scum ReRs (i.e. Mitt Romney). Sadly we are watching Romney slowly morph into a rat weasel. Mitt didn’t have the manhood to confront Harry the roach Reid when the roach accused Romney of not paying his taxes.  PDJT would have leveled the roach.  Mitt didn’t have the manhood to stand up for his wife or his wealth when they were attacked by unscrupulous Dopes.  PDJT would have cut their throats.  After crushing lil’ Barry in the first debate, Mitt didn’t have the manhood finish him off in the next two debates.  PDJT always shows up to win.  Mitt didn’t have the manhood to take on fat azz I ate too much Candy Crowley when she went all in with lil’ Barry in the third debate.  PDJT would have called her fat ugly mug out and blistered the blister bag faux “reporter” in the most unflattering terms.  Stating the obvious:  Mitt’s a loser. 

Voting is so fundamental to a representative democracy - the Dopes have to oppose it

There’s something very dangerous going on among unhinged Dopes, #NEVERTRUMPERS and Rat establishment Republicans.  Everyone, including the azzbags just mentioned, should want the President of the United States (POTUS) to be able to get a wide range of advice on critical issues in confidence.  The anti-Trump Caligula, D.C., ruling class, deep state turd merchants are making that impossible.

Every leak, every unsubstantiated blower report, every BS House of Representative’s subpoena undermines POTUS’s ability to get a wide range of advice.  When Johnny the red Brennan encourages un-American deep state traitors to rise up and file a flood of secondhand BS blower reports against PDJT, he encourages PDJT to shut out diverse opinion. So when Johnny the red, the leakers and the azzbags drive all the diverse opinion from the White House, they will, no doubt, b*tch about PDJT surrounding himself like-minded close allies and family. 

PDJT has blown this thing up from the start when he released the transcript of the call to the Ukraine President.  When PDJT released the transcript, Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser accused PDJT of conducting a “cover up” in plain sight.  That strategy worked so beautifully that PDJT has doubled down.  He publically called for China and Ukraine to investigate the Dope frontrunner and colossal dumb azz Slow Joe Biden and his worthless as a bucket of spit druggie son.  He then waited for Dope’s and their azzbag army’s (aka the MSM) heads to explode - in 3, 2, 1:  “You can’t ask a foreign power to investigate your political opponents!!” they screeched.  What they really meant was: “You can’t ask a foreign power to investigate a former Dope vice president’s corruption!!”

Today PDJT is going to poke the Peloser in the eye again with a letter that basically states – no vote – no cooperation.  That puts a target on Peloser’s back.  Sha has to hold a vote putting her “moderate Dopes”* at risk if they vote with the mob.  When the subpoenas fly PDJT can take the very reasonable position of “Hold a vote and we’ll cooperate.  Otherwise, go pound sand.”   Voting in a representative democracy is something everyone can understand and support.  So Peloser will be in the unenviable position of having to her position of not voting.  So PDJT say, “Let’s vote” and Peloser will have to say, “No we don’t need no stinkin’ vote. Just do everything we say or else.”

NOTE:  Moderate Dopes are like bigfoot, Santa Clause and a good Bengals football team - often talked about but never proven to actually exist. Peloser wants to protect the so-called moderates from an impeachment vote lest they face a primary from an AOC wannbe if they don’t march in lockstep with the mob.  Well if the “moderate Dope” is such a common creature, why won’t Dopes who vote with the mob for impeachment face a primary challenge from a moderate?    

Not voting is not a good look or supportable position in the long run for Peloser and the dopes.  Make ‘em vote.

Explaining the markets and China policy

The markets are in a big slide.  The “experts” have a long list of reasons why.  Here’s mine.  The markets have enjoyed tremendous growth.  Investors noticed the growth, so they decided to take profits.  I really do not think it’s any more complicated than that.  Money talks.  BS walks.

The one big wildcard in all this are the China policies.  It’s a strange bag.  Nearly everyone agrees that China has been screwing America for decades and something needed to be done. So when PDJT does something they go all wobbly and whine, “Something needs to be done, but not now!”

My take is - F**K the ChiComms.  These bastards sell us moldy drywall, toys tainted with lead paint and poison pet food.  They smuggle tons and tons of fentanyl into the country.  They manipulate their currency and steal our intellectual property.  They pile human rights violations atop of human rights violations.  They are our military near peer, and they have plans to dominate the Pacific region.  What’s the down side in breaking ties with these scumbags?

The stock market be damned.  ChiComms are a clear and present danger and must be confronted.  Wall St. knows that, but they don’t want to take their medicine.  They’d prefer to die rich in the next couple of years than live comfortably for decades.  They are the useful idiots of the ChiComms.

Bite the bullet.  Put China in its place. Real stability and prosperity will resume once the ChiComms are under control.    

Today’s JG rant

Anytime a human being looks in a mirror they see a hypocrite staring back.  So reading a long line of letters from hypocrites who rival the Pharisees questioning PDJT’s faith is amusing.  Take George D. Smith’s letter “President’s actions far from Christian” of Sep 3, 2019. As an all seer, I beg Smith to give me a call and tell me if I’m the straight path to the narrow gate, please.

Smith asks for examples of religious rights being trampled in America.  Smith, like the Pharisees, must be blind or willfully ignorant of events in America to make such a ridiculous statement.  President Obama sued the Little Sisters of the Poor for crying out loud.  Wake up.  Catholic adoption services are under assault for their adherence to their religious views.  Catholic hospital services are under assault due to their refusal to perform abortions.  Decades old war memorials are being pulled down because they contain a cross or a reference to Judea-Christian values.  Local governments have passed laws or resolutions banning Chick-Fil-A because of that company’s Christian values.  Hobby Lobby comes under assault for the same reasons. Some public schools have to be sued before they will allow a Christian clubs to form.  Bakers, photographers and florists are being sued to force them to participate in unions that violate their deeply held religious beliefs.  Examples go on forever, George.

Smith makes another equally ridiculous claim, “We have a president who would walk over anyone if it meant picking up a dollar.”  PDJT donates his salary, George.  PDJT has given up daily control of his vast financial empire to his children.  PDJT’s companies have refused to participate in foreign deals or grow their current overseas concerns while PDJT remains in office.

Smith worries about the example PDJT is setting for young people.  First, we didn’t elect a pope in 2016.  Next, only the dumbest among us didn’t know of PDJT’s many foibles before voting.  Trump won.

Now the modern day Pharisees line up to question PDJT’s Christian values.  I’d remind Smith that David was an adulterer and that Peter denied Christ three times, yet Peter is the rock upon which Christ chose to build his Church.  Hmm, how does that bit go?  “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone”?  Something like that.

The tone of and vitriol contained in Smith’s letter demonstrate that he’s the one who needs to examine the log in his own eye before pointing to the speck in someone else’s.

Note to editors:  Come on, print it, babies.  

 President's actions far from those of Christian

In response to John Caywood's letter that tries to paint Donald Trump as a Christian (Sept. 17), I find it demeaning. If you want to compare him to Bible figures, go for it. Show me where our religious rights are being trampled on. A president who berates Muslims, blacks and other people of color can hardly be called a Christian.

We have a president who would walk over anyone if it meant picking up a dollar. In my church, we don't worship someone who resorts to name-calling, sexual encounters with women other than his wife, constantly telling lies, berating anyone who does not agree with his every whim, and walking all over our Constitution.

It is a total embarrassment to our young people to have him even in the limelight, let alone as a leader of our country. I can only imagine what the spineless Republican party would have done if Barack Obama would have been holding hands with every dictator who has been using Trump as their own personal puppet.

What worries me most is that he will do anything he wants and Mitch McConnell and his band will sit and do nothing. If what he does is not acceptable to a real Christian, why does everyone turn a blind eye? An uninformed person is easily led astray.

The Blower got special treatment from deep state azzweasels

There is much confusion about how a blower can get the Dope impeachment ball rolling on nothing more than secondhand information.  I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend* that the blower is pedophile commie rat bastard who pedals porn when he’s not dealing drugs to Dope ruling class Caligula, D.C. azzwipes like Grand nan from San Fran, pencil neck Schiff and fat Jerry Nadler who have been stoned for so long that they believe impeachment of PDJT is a workable solution.

*NOTE: Hat tip to REO Speedwagon.  PDJT’s team should roll this riff out and use it every day. Ads galore.  PDJT’s team should then make all manner of outrageous secondhand accusations at anyone who thinks the blower’s secondhand info should be taken seriously.  “Yeah, well I have it on good authority that you are cheating on your wife with a high school sophomore. I think you should release all of your e-mails, tax returns and private records to clear your name.”  See how it works? REO will demand that PDJT’s team stop using the riff.  PDJT’s team will respond the same way they did with the Rolling Stones.  “We paid for it.  We’re using it.  If you don’t like it, take it off the public play list we bought it from.”  

I’ve had some trouble figuring out the deep state BS on the blower’s secondhand lies.  Apparently there’s a law that allows blowers to blow secondhand smoke up the ICIGs azz.  The blower form used in the intel community before the current rat bastard blower required firsthand information.  So the law was inconsistent with the intell community’s blower form. The blower in the latest PDJT brouhaha was given special treatment.  This rat bastard blower was given a “new” form that is consistent with the law – allowing secondhand info.  Is this the first time?

In an interesting side note, when the rat bastard blower communicated with the ICIG, the blower indicated that he had firsthand knowledge.  Hmm.  Is that a lie on a government document?  I don’t know.  But later, on the newly approved itell community blower form, the blower indicated that he had no firsthand info.  Weird huh.

Here’s the big thing that I cannot understand.  Do Dope seriously believe that Americans will be okay with impeaching PDJT based on hearsay, without allowing PDJT his 6^th Amendment right to face his accusers – the blower and the leakers who provided the blower with his info – to examine their bias and motivations?

But Lex we have the transcripts.  Well that’s fruit of the poisonous tree.  You wouldn’t have the transcript were not for the hearsay.  No.  I’m not a lawyer, but my son is first year law student at IU so you can pretty much take this legal analysis to the bank or the Supreme Court.

This is a simple issue that 99.9% of Americans can get their minds around – the right to face one’s accusers.  PDJT should forego the more complicated change in the intell community’s blower form argument and beat the 6^th Amendment drum loud and often.

As the Dopes slip closer or in reality fully embrace communism, they are now all in with Stalin’s rule, “Show me the man, and I’ll find you the crime.”

As always, PDJT’s main threat is from his own party.  Rat establishment Republicans should ride the Trump tiger.  For the rest of us, PDJT is the ONLY thing standing between us and them – i.e. socialism/communism.

I have never had problem with college athletes making money off their names.  I thought it utter BS when the NCAA sanctioned The OSU because players traded jerseys that belonged to them and other mementos for tattoos. The stuff belonged to them.  They should be allowed to do with it what they choose.  

I once sold a car while I attended The OSU.  The NCAA never suspended me for that activity.  Why are the athletes different?  Well they get benefits from the university and they violated NCAA rules.  Okay rules were broken, but the rules are stupid.  

My guess is that there will need to be uniform rules nation-wide to keep a level playing field.  That means - oh drat - congress may need to get involved. 

That means the rule book will be 110,000 pages of undecipherable BS. 

Bottom line: The genie is out of the bottle.  The NCAA had better face facts and adjust to this or the entire thing will come crashing down around them.

Today's JG rant: Fear mongering warm-mongers stealing kid's childhood

In order to gain lefty lib cred, everyone needs to be a victim of something these days.  There’s a problem for ignorant privileged little white girl snots like global warm-mongering crusader and wonder kid Greta Thunberg. Here’s the problem:  The whining snots have grown up in the healthiest, wealthiest and safest era in human history.

Here in America, people are living longer than ever.  The standard of living is the highest ever.  Most childhood diseases were wiped out – well at least until the open borders crowd got their way and reintroduced them to America’s children.  The problem of childhood hunger has morphed into a problem with childhood obesity. The really good news for warm-mongers is that while Americans are living better than ever, our ingenuity has led to the cleanest air and water ever. 

It would seem that by every measurable metric humans in general and Americans in particular are far better off than ever.  So what to do if you’re a warm-mongering celebrity like Greta?  Well, of course, you just make stuff up and throw a petulant fit in the process.  Greta claimed her parents and grandparents stole her childhood.  

No.  They didn’t.  Climate warm-mongers are stealing your childhood with a litany of lies and ever shifting goalposts.

I have lived through 50 years of warm-mongering hysteria.  I have lived through scores of warm-mongering “expert’s” predictions that world, or its oceans or its forests etc. as we know them will end in 10, 20 or 30 years from everything from global cooling to acid rain to ozone depletion to over population to global starvation to global warming etc. etc. etc.  None – not one - has worked out.

It’s the warm-mongers with their campaign of fear who are stealing your childhood, Greta.  If a stranger accosted a child on the way home from school every day and filled that child’s head with doomsday BS about any other subject, we’d rightfully call it child abuse.

Here’s the honest truth, Greta.  You are nothing more than a useful idiot for socialist/communist globalists whose goal is to destroy capitalism – the exact philosophy that has led to man’s achievements noted above.

I could almost buy into this warm-mongering BS were not for the raging hypocrisy of global warm-mongers.  Take Greta’s stunt of sailing to America from Sweden.  Does anyone know that two sailors were flown to NY to sail the boat back to Sweden? 

I’m with Frelick.  Let’s let a bunch petulant privileged kids run the world.  We’d better try a dry run first.  Put them on island – San Clemente, CA for instance.  Put Greta in charge and see how things work out after 30 days. It’ll be Lord of the Flies/Animal Farm before sundown on day two.

Maybe our kids have a point with environmental concerns

This world in which we live will soon be inherited by our children and their children. So why should we trouble ourselves to make any changes? They'll be facing the same problems that kept striking us out. Maybe they'll come up with some answers.

The trouble, friends, is that those problems we've been leaving for our children to deal with are already here with us, and they're growing. They're already impinging on the lives of our children.

We've failed miserably in our responsibilities to keep our planet habitable and safe. “That's for the scientists to figure out, and they haven't done so yet, or at least I haven't heard about it.” That's just not true.

You may have long since avoided the real news on your TV because it's so discouraging or painful to hear and see, but it's been there, and one way or another, we've ignored it. Things are seriously bad and they're going to get worse if we continue to ignore the facts.

Surely you know our polar ice caps are melting (faster than anybody expected!) and our glaciers, too. Around the world, hurricanes, tsunamis and tornadoes are destroying entire communities of people. Much of the Amazon's forest in Brazil is being intentionally burned, diminishing the quality of the air we breathe here up north.

And until lately, we've barely noticed many of these calamities since they've not seemed to affect our intentionally isolated daily lives. Hundreds of thousands of refugees from domineering governments in South America and the continent of Africa are streaming northward to find safe places that might afford them a chance at survival, safety and a means to build a new life.

Meanwhile, most of us are busy, striving for a lifestyle of relative extravagance. And things tend to stay this way ... until these increasing problems impinge on our comfortable lives.

It's when “our beautiful place at the shore” is labeled as “soon to be submerged” by constantly rising tides that we become upset. It's when the real estate agent, trying to sell us on that dream retreat on the mountainside in Colorado, sadly tells us of the six-year drought in the area and the absence of any significant firefighting service options. It begins when we decide it's better to buy the water our kids drink at home because we aren't sure about what's coming through our kitchen faucet. It's when the costs of our consumption of fossil fuels jump, and we're told the burning of those very fuels is contributing significantly to the pollution of the air our children are breathing.

Things like that can sure suck the wind out of a fella's sail.

Maybe we ought to listen to what our kids are telling us about this “climate charge” stuff – or is it climate change? Maybe some of those scientists are for real. Maybe we should listen to our kids. Junior says we oughta work with these scientists and the kids. He says he and his friends and this young leader from Sweden just won't back off. They want us to support what they know has to be changed – or at least to stay out of their way.

When you think about it, maybe they're onto something. The things they're talking about could probably get pretty grim if we don't do something, and pretty soon.
