Tonight more random lies from TES

The Empty Suit’s random lie machine will be smoking tonight.  It might get so bad that the thing might actually break down.  Dopes need not worry though.  If the old 80 column computer punch card system that has produced the random lies TES has told for the last 6 years goes caput tonight, they always have the standby random lie generator.  That system is a 16 sided die floating in a liquid encased in a black ball with a small window at the bottom (Think of the old 8 Ball game here.)

It contains the following all purpose lies that have been told over and over by TES and have stood the test of time:

It’s Bush’s fault
It’s because Tea Party Republicans are hateful
If congress won’t act I will
The problem is we’re not funding education
I’m being hindered by racist
It’s because of a hateful video we had nothing to do with
I don’t do politics in these situations
There’s not a smidgen of corruption in the (fill in the blank)
If you like your (fill in the blank) you can keep your (fill in the blank ((make sure the two blanks match)))
I just read about that in the papers
There’s an ongoing investigation into (fill in the blank)
Islam is one of the great religion’s of the world

If history is any indicator, TES will take to the airwaves to tell us what he is NOT going to do.  It starts with a carefully constructed straw man and ends with a “Let me be clear…”  As in “Let me be clear.  I don’t care how many war mongering Republicans demand it, I will not nuke the moon or bomb Aruba.”

He will give aid and comfort to the enemy by assuring them that they do not have to worry about a Ranger Battalion dropping into one their training facilities and killing everything that breaths or a SEAL Team kicking in their door in the middle of the night and snatching their worthless asses up for “questioning.”

Here are some truism’s TES won’t address tonight:

When TES declared the war on terror over, this page noted that the enemy gets a say in “when the war is over.”  Don’t hold your breath waiting for TES to admit error and declare the war with Islamo-Terror-Fascists never ended and will last for at least another 40 years.

Don’t even look for TES to identify the enemy – radical Islamic garbage fueled by the religion of hate.  It will be defined as ISIS or ISIL or whatever other benign euphemism they can construct to avoid laying the blame where it belongs - fundamentalist Islamic lunatics funded by Saudi and other Middle East petro dollars.

Don’t look for any admission that the entire 2004 TES campaign was a lie.  The old "Osama is dead and GM is alive" is now radical Islam is stronger, better funded, more expansive than ever and in 2014 GM has recalled more cars than it sold.  "We’ve got al Qaeda on the run" is now al Qaeda and other radical Islamist are running much of Syria, Iraq, Africa and have toe holds in every country in the world.

Don’t look for any admission that his rush to leave Iraq and failure to negotiate a stay behind force there along with his botched policies in Syria and Libya as contributing factors to the rise of ISIS.  The random lie machine will place the blame for those disasters at the feet of Bush, congress, racists and/or the Tea Party.

Unless the first line in his address tonight is, “Bush was right.”  I will not waste my time listening to this lying, incompetent, affirmative action pass through pant load try to weasel his way out of a mess his incompetence got us into.

Decent people hanging out with a reprobates, gives the reprobates cover

Cringe worthy
When a decent guy hangs out with a reprobate, whose reputation is sullied?  The reprobate is already a reprobate and has nothing to lose.  The decent guy, unless he spends all his time lecturing the reprobate on what reprobate he is, is tarred by the reprobate’s reputation.  Billbo Billy Boy Clinton is a reprobate.  George W. Bush is a decent guy.  Why does W insist on hanging out with Billbo?

I am of mind that we ought to be taking Monsignor Pope’s advice found in the link in the post below on these matters and not be seen to be too chummy with people that are so far afield from our own way of thinking.  Billbo is probably a rapist.  He is without question a sexual predator and a liar.

With his background of raping, groping, exposing himself to serial women, Billbo would be banned from playing football in the NFL today.  So if Ray Rice got off that elevator and told his fiancĂ©, “Better put some on that,” would Rice be a favorite among the NOW crowd?

So, why does our side insist on sitting with a creep yucking it up?  It’s not as if the reprobate is going to have one nice thing to say about you after you give him cover.  After all he is, at his core, a reprobate.

Oh, since I’ve brought up Ray Rice
The Baltimore Raven’s running back was fired and banned from the NFL possibly for life after new video surface of him knocking out his fiancĂ© in a Las Vegas hotel elevator.  So if Rice claimed he was just playing the knock out assault game would it be OK?  The proof he wasn’t playing the knock out assault game is that the victim was black.

Murder accomplice/obstructionist former Raven linebacker Ray Lewis weighed in on the Rice situation.  Lewis said he was disappointed because he’d taken Rice “under his wing.”  Well that explains a lot.  Lewis, one never able to STFU except when talking to the cops about a double homicide, went on to utter this jaw dropper, “And one thing (Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti) made very clear: there’s no comparison between me and Ray Rice.”  I suppose that’s true.  The woman Ray Rice punched is still alive.  The unfortunate souls in the Ray Lewis incident are both dead.

Now if we applied Monsignor Pope’s rule to ESPN, one would have to wonder why Mike Ditka, Chris Carter, Tom Jackson, Keeshon Johnson and Chris Bermann are sitting on a panel with Ray Lewis.  ESPN fired Rush Limbaugh for telling the truth about Donavan McNabb.  Then they hired an accomplice to murder and everyone seems to be OK with it.  Weird huh?

13 Hours in Benghazi is the "smoking gun"

13 Hours in Benghazi
I watched the Fox News special last night.  It focused on the experience of three contract security men who were on the ground in Benghazi the night of 9-11.  In the entire one hour special, there were only about 2 minutes of politics.  Unless you consider their opinion that had they been dispatched when they were ready to go the Ambassador and Chris Stevens could have been saved political, the men never commented on the politics of the situation.

My #1 take away from it was that there seemed to be no sense of urgency from anyone in a leadership position that was not actually in Benghazi.

#2 I expect that the Left Libs will be out in force this morning trying to discredit the men and justify the decisions or lack there of, of the Dope politicians and their hired yes men wannbe generals in the Pentagon to do nothing while Americans were rather slowly being killed.  Look for the Left libs their lapdog MSM stooges to close ranks and take careful aim at the character of the brave messengers in this story.

#3 is what an absolute farce the video explanation of the assault is. The attack was very well coordinated and had nothing to what-so-ever to do with a video or anything else other jihadis out to kill Americans on 9-11.

#4 is that if they just stick to the truth, the fall hearings into Benghazi now have more potential pitfalls for the Dopes than for the Republicans.  The lack of response, the video, the prolonged cluelessness of Admin officials including TES clinging to BS about spontaneous demonstration due to some video is going to be exposed as the BS it is.  Also while Admin officials claim there was no “stand down order” ever issued to any American force in position to affect a rescue at the mission, the men dispute that claim head on.  If handled correctly, the truth will come out.  The truth, as always, is not a friend of the Dope party.

#5 the skill and courage of the men in Benghazi is breathtaking.  Any Dope who takes on the character of these guys is likely to end up looking like a lying political hack.  That description includes about 99.9999% of the people in this administration, 99.9888% of the MSM, 99.97777% of Hollywood hipsters and about 98% of Dopes in general.  They have so much invested in TES they will be out force today looking to trash these guys.

A split in the Catholic Church?
Near the end of the Catholic profession of faith there’s the line, “I believe in one holy, Catholic and apostolic church.”  This article may indicate an impending split in the church.  We swapped Cardinal O’Conner for Dolan and Pope Benedict for Francis.  Those are worse trades than when Boston sent a player named Ruth to New York so the Red Sox owner could raise money for the Broadway flop No, no Nannette.  I believe the church is headed in the wrong direction.  The only comfort in any of this is Father David Mary's encouragement that in its 2,000 year history, "the Catholic clergy has not been able to destroy the church" so it may continue even through this.

Along that line, I decided to send my letter on immigration along to Bishop Rhoades.  It was a tough decision.  After reading Father Pope’s letter I’m glad I did.  The finished product is below.

Dear Bishop Rhoades:

I have read and reread your column published in the August 10th edition of Today’s Catholic.  I wasn’t going to reply because I’m a guy who happens to support the rule of law.  In today’s America, on this issue, to many that makes me hard-hearted and un-Christian.  Weird huh?  Simply for expecting the nation to have a secure southern border and an orderly process to enter the country, I’m labeled some kind of xenophobic racist.

Now that our president seems to be on the cusp of exercising some kind of extra constitutional powers that he has bequeathed upon himself with regard to the nation’s immigration policy, I’ve decided to vent on this issue.  Our president says, “If congress won’t act, I will,” but when congress does act by voting against the DREAM Act, the president ignores them and acts unilaterally.  How are the president’s actions that ignore the wishes of the elected representatives of the people while acting without their consent on a host of other issues any different from many of the corrupt tyrannical governments run by despots that the refugees flooding our southern border thought they were escaping?

We might start by asking ourselves how we arrived at this humanitarian crisis.  We have 60,000 children who have flooded our border since October.  Why?  Haven’t the poverty, violence and gang crime that have gripped the countries contributing to the flow of unaccompanied minors to our southern border existed for decades?  Why are they risking everything to come to America now?

One reason - the main reason in my opinion – is that our president, unconstrained by the congress, the constitution, or any law, natural or civil, simply announced to the world that the policy of prosecutorial discretion — which allows immigration agents to defer deportation of low-risk, non criminal undocumented immigrants — would be expanded to all DREAM eligible youth.  As a result, governments are running ads on radio telling their citizens to get their children to America before this arrangement ends.  In addition many are offering primers to their state sponsored “refugees” on how to access the American welfare system upon arrival.

With no real impediment what-so-ever to their crossing the U.S. southern border, they’ve flooded in.  It’s sort of an “if you don’t build it (a wall) they will come” situation.  The “they” in this case not only includes the needy children but also includes large numbers of drug trafficking gang bangers, human smugglers, probably some Islamic State terrorists, maybe a few ebola carriers etc.  Who knows who is coming in?

Also complicit in this humanitarian crisis, in my opinion, is the US Council of Catholic Bishops.  The USCCB has been an open and loud advocate for amnesty – not only for children but for the 11 million illegal aliens already in America.  Don’t think that the USCCB’s continuous calls for amnesty don’t affect people’s decision to risk entering the country illegally.  I agree.  We are facing a humanitarian crisis, but the sequence of events leading to the crisis are all of our own doing.

I think everyone would agree that America can easily absorb 60,000 children.  That said, no one in government seems to know what the final total will be or when the crisis will end.  Of course reuniting these children with their families ought to be the goal.  When that happens, will that start a chain migration process that will increase the total number migrants entering the country due to this crisis by a factor of five to ten times?  And what about the other children of the world who face similar circumstances but cannot simply hop a train and arrive at an open American southern border?  Do we have some kind of orderly process to address those children?  And not to be too crass, since the focus is on illegal migrant children, I assume that all American children have been fully served by USCCB.  After all the U-S in USCCB stands for…what?

I honestly believe that you and the USCCB don’t see this crisis in political terms.  There is one political party in this country that sees EVERYTHING as political.  For this party sports, the arts, music, TV, movies, every form of entertainment, and local, regional and global news story - EVERYTHING - is political.  While helping these children is an apolitical issue, the undeniable truth is that how this crisis is handled will have far-reaching, long-term political ramification for America.  As has been the case with most issues of my adult life, USCCB chooses to side with Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry Catholics in these political questions.

Governments fail for many reasons.  They become too big, corrupt and unresponsive to the people they are formed to serve then in their final days bureaucrats loot the treasury to line their own pockets, grow the government and buy votes and security.  We are nearly 18 trillion dollars in debt with no hope of this generation or the next ten paying that bill.  That doesn’t even include an estimated 90 trillion in unfunded liabilities.  The IRS, Bureau of Land Management, NSA, DoJ, EPA, VA and the rest of the government alphabet soup seem to be staffed wholly with overpaid corrupt bureaucrats more concerned with their own interests than serving the people these agencies were established serve.  America has 45 million people on food stamps, 11 million on disability, 47% of Americans receive some kind of government stipend and today’s labor force participation rate has not been seen since the 80s.  So it’s not surprising that the US Chamber of Commerce like the USCCB would be calling for an amnesty to provide a replacement work force for the one our government pays not to work.

The ash heap of history is littered with the carcasses of failed societies and governments that thought that they could bend natural, societal and economic law in order to maintain power or achieve equal outcomes among differing peoples.  Today a good portion of Americans, a majority it seems of their elected officials, the Chamber of Commerce and the USCCB seem to believe that simply because America has been successful in the past we are immune to the forces of these laws.  We are not. For good or for ill, those forces will have their way.

America has been a force for good for the last 200 plus years, but anything that cannot last forever won’t.  I think America is reaching that point.  Then what?  Who will do the good works for children world-wide that Americans have done when we are an entire nation that looks like Detroit or California or simply devolves into a corrupt, lawless, one-party state like the ones the children at our southern border are fleeing?

The solution:

First, of course, the children at our border should be dealt with as compassionately as possible.  That does not include announcing to the world that they will be allowed to stay and invite extended members of their families to join them.  Even if the government does not intend to deport even the vilest of MS 13 drug smugglers entering the country illegally, the public position of the government and the USCCB should be that the overwhelming majority of these children will be reunited with their families in their country of origin.  We should stop all talk of any kind of general amnesty that only acts as a magnet to get into the country under the deadline for that amnesty.

Next, as a further deterrent, the government and the USCCB should advocate securing America’s southern border with high walls and wide gates.  How we deal with people who arrive unannounced at the wall or gates can be debated, but they should not be allowed to simply stroll into America undocumented with 200 pounds of cocaine.  The vast majority of America’s Catholic churches come with locks on the doors.  At some point during the day people are asked to leave the church and the doors are locked.   The position of the USCCB on America’s borders should be the same as for its churches.  When the USCCB advocates that US Catholic churches should remain open 24-7 allowing in anyone and everyone who wants to enter to take up residency in the pews, then their objection to controlled borders and controlled immigration will seem a bit less hypocritical.

Next, USCCB should advocate government policies and tax incentives that encourage families, children and work.  Currently the traditional nuclear family is under assault by the government, Hollywood and the mainstream media.  Babies are looked upon by many as a fashion accessory or a burden, (Recall, when advocating for abortion, the president said that he wouldn’t want his daughter to be “burdened with a baby?”).  The government pays people up to $46,000 a year in cash and “benefits” not to work.  If we do not change these trends the American culture will not have to worry about being taken over by outside forces it will simply die off through a self-inflicted attrition.  What follows will be anyone’s guess.

Last, instead of inviting hundreds of millions of suffering people around the world to America, the USCCB should be working to address their heart-breaking circumstances in their homelands.  The most effective deterrent to poverty in history has proven to be democratic government fueled by a regulated capitalist economy.  If the USCCB’s position is that capitalism concentrates too much wealth in to few hands, what’s their position on government ownership of and redistribution of assets that creates suffocating poverty every single time it is tried?

Bishop, if you have made it this far in this long letter, you truly are a great man.  I know that you are a wise and compassionate man who will, if not agree with the points contained herein, at least give them your consideration.

With great respect and admiration for you and love of our faith,

$15 min wage for burger flippers will automate the industry

I like fast food.  I rarely eat it.  I stop mostly when on a road trip.  I stop because it’s fast, consistent and cheap.  To my horror, fast food workers went on strike yesterday.  The 16 year old high schooler or 40 year old high school drop out apparently thinks a gig a McDonald’s is worth $15 an hour.  Unless you’re the owner of the establishment, it isn’t.

Simple question, if a burger flipper is worth $15 an hour, what’s certified plumber or electrician worth?  It’s gotta be in the hundreds of dollars an hour.  Of course paying $15 an hour to burger flippers would mean an end to the burger house itself.  Who’s going to pay what it would cost for the McDonald’s kid to make $15 an hour to get your order wrong?

These economic realities rarely have an affect on the mind of a Lefty Lib who hears, “raise the minimum wage” and reflexively responds with a “Hell yeah!”   I’ve offered Lex jr. and a neighbor kid $2 an hour to sweep and pick up sticks around the compound.  That is all those two particular tasks are worth to me.  No one has taken me up on it.  One kid said he’d do it for $3.  I suspect he wouldn’t, but I didn’t take the bait.  It’s mindless work worth 2 bucks an hour.  Because it’s mindless, sometimes I enjoy doing it myself.

So with the threat of a $15 an hour min wage for burger flippers - which is only about a step and half up the ladder of success from picking up sticks and sweeping at the compound – the death of fast food loomed in my mind.

Then halleluiah, I read this.  Someone finally put their engineering degree to a good decent use.  I see a Nobel prize in the offing for this humanitarian effort that will save the fast food industry.  They have a robot that can flip 360 perfect burgers per hour.  And – the owner doesn’t have worry about some disgruntled teenager showing up on YouTube spitting on the grill.  If they have a burger flipping machine, you already pour your own drink at most these places, can deep frying machine and smoothy machines be far off?  I see the day where you plug your order into a electronic box and your CORRECT order comes off a conveyor to your place in line within a minute.

The people going on strike for a $15 an hour min wage to flip burgers cannot be the smartest bunch on the block.  They wouldn’t be 40 years old flipping burgers if they were.  Then they wouldn’t be stupid enough to give the owner good reason to fire their worthless azzes if they had an ounce of common sense.  Besides isn’t the unemployment rate still well above 6%?  Aren’t illegal kids flooding the border?  Do these dumbazzes seriously suppose that if they walked off the job permanently tomorrow it take more than a few minutes to replace them?

I actually heard one idiot woman from NY complaining that she had 5 kids and couldn’t make ends meet on the $8 an hour McD’s is paying her.  Three questions came immediately to mind, where’s dad(s)?  Why did you have 5 kids?  Why can’t you get a better job?  The fact that she’s striking a fast food establishment generous enough to hire her gives some insight to why this woman will always be dependant on government or someone willing to give her something for nothing.

Sending mixed messages is a sign of being a dope

In the post under Lex once again points out that in addition to being an empty suit The Empty Suit isn’t all that smart.  I’ve always suspected that TES was a dim bulb but when he showed up an event for school children and spoke off a teleprompter all doubt was removed.  The guy uses the teleprompter to avoid speaking like the dope that he is.

TES was off the prompter yesterday when he said our objective is to destroy ISIS.  He was still off the prompter a few minutes later when he said our objective is to reduce ISIS to a manageable problem.  Hmm, seems to me if it’s destroyed it’s no longer a problem.

Carthage was not a “manageable problem” after its defeat.  It ceased to exist.  The city was razed, its fleet was burnt, its occupants sold into slavery, and salt was plowed into the ground.  There was no Carthaginian Liberation Front bitching about occupied Carthage for the Romans to deal with because there were no Carthaginians left.

I would think after 9-11 we’d be taking the same approach with ISIS as the Romans did with Carthage.  The Phil Robertson approach of convert them or kill them seems reasonable to me.  Since the conversion process cannot be trusted, we should just kill them.

How they are killed is unimportant.  There seems to be more disgust with how the two American journalist - Foley and Sotloff  - were killed than the fact that they are dead.  I suppose cutting off heads and posting the video on YouTube is a bit much, but what really pees me off is that ISIS killed them in the first place.  The way they were killed is a bit irrelevant to me right now.  Dead is dead.

Like when there were headlines about botched executions.  I had visions of the prisoner on beach somewhere drinking a Pina Colada.  No, he was dead.  So was “botched” really the right word?

But thank goodness ISIS scum aren’t relieving themselves on the dead bodies.  That would be a bad move on ISIS’s part.  That move might rile up wannabe Marine and wannbe Gen Amos into wanting to crush ISIS.   And unlike America’s punch line - Slow Joe Biden - I don’t want to follow these villains to the gates of hell.  I just want to send them there the sooner the better.   But since I’ve often thought of telling Slow Joe to go to hell, I’m glad he’s volunteered to go.  On second thought, these blowhards NEVER engage in the activities they advocate for the people or the nation.

Like everything else, The Empty Suit "didn't know" about the rise of JV team ISIS, blames poor intell

When the economy didn’t rebound after a trillion dollar stimulus bill, The Empty Suit blamed Bush.  When the shovel ready jobs that much of the stimulus money was supposed to be aimed at never appeared, The Empty Suit laughed it off.  After all what’s a trillion dollars?  When Eric the wad Holder got Brian Terry killed with a harebrained idea to give narco-terrorists guns, The Empty Suit claimed he read about in the papers, same with the NSA spying, same with the IRS scandal which latter brushed aside by claiming there’s wasn’t even a smidgen of corruption in the most corrupt of government agencies.  After six years and an irresponsible exit from Iraq The Empty Suit blames Bush for his decision to cut and run.  Now ISIS is on the rise lopping off heads at rate not seen since the French Revolution.  The Empty Suite blames the unopposed rise of ISIS on faulty intelligence.

Like the rest of it, The Empty Suit is a liar.  A former intell whistleblower let it be know that that TES got daily briefings on the rise of ISIS far ahead of his stupid JV comment.  Even the smug Pentagon spokesman - wannbe Adm Kirby - admitted that the Pentagon was well aware of the growth and danger of ISIS for months.  So you’d have to believe that they knew about it but kept it from TES – not a likely scenario – or TES is lying.  Well if “you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan” is any indication, TES is a liar.

The reason nothing was done about ISIS in its infancy is that TES - despite what we’re told over and over again - isn’t that smart.  We were assured by the political talking class that TES was the smartest guy ever, but don’t ask for any transcripts to prove it.  So with the cover of the Dopes, the hipster Hollywood know nothings, and the MSM the myth of TES’s mental acumen persists with no evidence what-so-ever to back it up.   If you based your assessment on results, you’d have to come to the conclusion that he’s a blithering idiot.  But there’s more to it than just TES being a dumbazz, he doesn’t seem to care.  As long as whatever goes wrong can be blamed on someone else, as long as the Dopes, the hipsters and the MSM will continue to cover for him, as long as it doesn’t affect the golf schedule, he cannot be bothered?

We few have known this all along.  Just now others are awakening to the fact that TES isn’t up to this job or any other job that requires focus and the ability to do more than just dived the total number of players in your midnight basketball program by four so that you order enough pizza.  Hey this is the guy who over the Labor Day weekend said he’d join a union if he wanted a good job and decent wage.  Fine go to Detroit and join the UAW that’s worked out well for everyone involved.  But at least it’ll give the country a chance.  No.  Wait.  Stay where you are.  He don’t need America’s punk line, aka Slow Joe Biden running anything.

Detroit is the perfect backdrop for a Dope Labor Day speech

If you’d like to see what happens when big labor and the Demo-Dope party are put in charge of something over an extended period of time visit Detroit.  Detroit is a shining example of what happens when a population thinks it is voting itself largess from a city treasury by voting Dope.  The people can vote themselves benefits paid for by others, but the “others” in this case can vote with their feet by moving themselves and their tax dollars elsewhere.  That’s what happened in Detroit.

In the 50s Detroit was a model for what could be accomplished under regulated capitalism.  Economic stability left Detroit with the exit of the last Republican mayor in 1962.  Dopes have been running the city ever since.  The city has been in decline ever since.  Coincidence?  No.  I don’t think so.  You can see the model played out across America’s large metropolitan areas.

Dopes get elected in these areas by promising to “fight for public sector unions.”  So the unions pour money into the Dope campaign.  Fight for the union against who?  Fight for the union against the taxpayer who pays the union members salary.  How is that not a conflict of interest?  The Dope takes union money to fund his campaign then negotiates a sweetheart deal for the union who then puts money back into the corrupt Dope’s campaign.

The result of such BS situations is higher and higher taxes.  That leads to the middle class moving elsewhere and a dwindling tax base in the city.  But the Dopes are always too slow to recognize what’s happening and continue to raise taxes to make up for the shortfall created by their own stupidity.  That accelerates the flight.

When the city begins to rots it’s always the poorest neighborhoods that suffer first.  That’s Detroit today. It is a shell.  In 1950 Detroit boasted of a population of 1.8 million people.  Today it has about 700,000.

What little growth and stability idiotic government policy wasn’t able to kill off in Detroit the UAW finished off.  Once the automobile manufacturing envy of the world the, UAW has reduced the big three US auto makers to companies that spend more time negotiating health and pension benefits than they do making cars.  The big three now have one company able to stand on its own.  Chrysler goes from a subsidiary of one European car maker to another.  GM makes cars that catch fire and roll of the manufacturing line only to be immediately recalled for some major foul up.  Right now GM has nearly 29 million cars under recall orders.  As a result, anyone who is looking to build a car in the US these days moves to union free shops in the south and as far away from the UAW and Detroit as possible.

So if you’re a potential Dope presidential candidate where would go for your Labor Day speech?  If you’re America’s punch line – slow Joe Biden – you go to Detroit.  That’s like opening “The AlGore Center for Green Energy” at the abandon Solyndra building.   Might as well go to Detroit though, where is there a single success story of insane Dope politics and big labor thugery?

What might be dumber than going to a failed bankrupt US city on Labor Day?  Well if you’ve been the vice president for the last 6 years you go to that city and talk about “taking America back.”  Taking it back from whom?  You’ve been in charge for the last SIX EFFING YEARS you moron.   But yeah it’s crazy Joe.  So…

Thank goodness The Empty Suit does not have a strategy for ISIS

“I don't want to put the cart before the horse.  We don't have a strategy yet.  [The news media is] getting a little further ahead of where we're at than we currently are [on confronting ISIL in Syria.]”
That’s The Empty Suit on his ISIS strategy

ASIDE:  You mean like the MSM got ahead of the Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin shootings?

Seriously, is anyone surprised that The Empty Suit does not have a strategy for ISIS?  Actually, given the way things have turned out for issues he did have a strategy for, we should beg him to continue to vacillate on ISIS.

He had a strategy for Libya.  Except for Benghazi and the lawless nation state that now exists in Libya, that’s going well.

He and the Shrilldabeast had strategies for Syria and Russia.  The Beast announced that Bassar Assad was a “reformer” and they had the famously mistranslated “reset button” with Russia.  Syria, after crossing any number of TES’s redlines, gave birth to ISIS and Putin handles TES like Ray Rice handles his fiancĂ© in a casino elevator.

We poured a trillion dollars down the crapper stimulating “shovel ready jobs” that TES later learned, after all the money was gone, “were not so shovel ready.”

We poured additional money down the crapper with a “cash clunkers” program that destroyed the used car market for the next ten years.

We poured money into “green energy” and got cars that spontaneously combust, windmills that, when they run, kill endangered bids, catch fire and provide the most expensive energy available to the grid; we got Solyndra that briefly produced solar energy panels until they learned that China could do the same job for about 1/10th the cost; we got an obscenely expensive solar mirror project that is far more efficient at wiping out the local bird population than providing reliable energy; We got an ethanol program that contributes to an incompetence twofer: because we insist on burning our food, we got the highest food costs especially beef prices America has seen while gas prices hover between $3.50 and $4.

While TES was investing in all of this green weenie BS, the EPA is doing their level best to shut down or make prohibitively expensive all forms of carbon based fuels – especially coal.

So call me crazy, but it might be in the nation’s best interest that TES remains clueless on what to with ISIS less he decide to issue some kind reset button with them, invite them to set up training facilities in America while demanding DHS and ICE do nothing to prohibit their entry into the country.  No.  Wait.  He’s already doing that last one.

Shrilldabeast
If King SFB was relabeled The Empty Suit in another era of new tone on Lex, should the Shrilldabeast become now become The Empty Pantsuit (TEPS)?   The editorial board will take that one under advisement.

NFL domestic abuse policy
After Ray Rice knocked his fiancĂ© out in a casino elevator, the NFL suspended him for two games.  The crowd went wild.  In a classic case of over correcting, the NFL now says anyone who commits a second act of domestic abuse will be banned from the NFL for life.  Now mind you this is the same NFL that saw nothing wrong with Ray Lewis lying to police in a double homicide case.  So will the NFL come out with a policy that says obstructing a second investigation into a double homicide will lead to serious consequences?

Putin's lobster strategy in Ukraine

At the outset of WWII the German army pioneered an offensive strategy that became known as the blitzkrieg or lightening attack.  The Germans employed a method of warfare whereby an attacking force would be spearheaded by a concentration of armor and mechanized infantry formations, backed up by close air support.  That heavy concentration of armor and mechanized forces would create a break in enemy’s defensive formations allowing the rest of the more conventional German army to pour through.

If the Germans employed the “lightening attack” in WWII, what do you call Russia’s slow motion military assault on Ukraine?  Way back in February, Russia annexed Crimea.  The Empty Suit retorted to no one in particular, “Cry-me-a?  As in ‘cry me a river?’”  The world yawned.  Crimea is gone.

Now Russia is actively supporting a Ukrainian separatist/revolutionary movement in eastern Ukraine.  After initial setbacks, the Ukrainian army has been able to retake much of what the Russian proxies captured and has managed to bottle up what’s left.

Russia’s real leader - Vlad Putin - will not take that sitting down.  He is moving the front south and using Russian forces and material to do so.  But it’s all in slow motion.  As more and more Russian soldiers and equipment get captured by the Ukrainians, the Russian excuse of soldiers getting lost and paratroopers getting blow into Ukraine by the prevailing wind are sounding more and more absurd.  There are no warnings against intervention into Ukraine from any of the usual cabal of impotent tough talkers.  The Empty Suit and his parade of Pentagon GOFO sycophantic yes men are more worried about haircuts than national security.  The UN, busy passing hundreds of resolutions condemning Israel for protecting itself, cannot be bothered.  NATO, sans US leadership, is now a powerless bunch of semi-socialist states with France taking the military lead.

So what do we call this military strategy being employed by Russia in Ukraine?  During the Civil War the North tried what was called the “Anaconda Strategy” whereby the North tried to blockade the South while advancing armies down the Mississippi river to cut the South in two.  The idea was to strangle the South into submission.  While the plan achieved many of its goals, it didn’t force the South into submission.  So Putin probably is not a fan of calling his meddling in Ukraine an anaconda strategy.

Maybe he’d prefer the lobster strategy whereby heat is applied slowly so as not to alarm the lobster but by the time he figures out that he’s what’s for dinner it’s too late to anything about it.  Ukraine knows exactly who Putin wants to have for dinner.  The rest of the world either doesn’t care or as in the case of Europe, is hiding under the bed sheets hoping not be Putin’s next snack.  Even if the world were to wake up to what’s happening, I don’t think Putin gives a crapola.  It would barely change his calculus.  Who’s going to stop him?

I’m not sure where, but somewhere in a post under Lex made a tongue in check  prediction that the showering habits of Ram’s rookie Michael Sam would become a more interesting news story to the homosexually obsessed MSM than any talent he may possess on the football field.  Truth is stranger than fiction.

Lower the standards, ignore the results
That’s one of Lex’s favorite expressions when dealing with any kind of affirmative action, social engineering, diversity quotas etc.  Read Ann Coulter’s account of this phenomenon when applied to policing - here.  To sum the results up in a word – incompetence.  Will we ever learn?  No.  We won’t.  It’s better to go down in flames as a “diverse society” than live in prosperity as a meritocracy that values personal responsibility.

It's for the children

In an Aug 10th piece in Today’s Catholic, my bishop urged us to support the wave of children crossing our southern border illegally. I’ve been toying with a response:

Dear Bishop Rhoades:

I have read and reread your column published in the August 10th edition of Today’s Catholic.  I wasn’t going to reply because I’m a guy who happens to support the rule of law.  In today’s America, on this issue, to many that makes me a hard-hearted, anti-Christian, racist bastard.  Weird huh?  Simply for expecting the nation to have a secure southern border and an orderly process to enter the country, I’m labeled some kind of xenophobic racist.

We might start by asking our selves how we arrived at this humanitarian crisis.  We have 60,000 children who flooded our border since October.  Why?  Haven’t the poverty, violence and gang crime that have gripped the countries contributing to the flow of unaccompanied minors to our southern border existed for decades?  Why are they risking everything to come to America now?

One reason - the main reason in my opinion – is that our president, unconstrained by the congress, the constitution, or any other law simply announced to the world that the policy of prosecutorial discretion — which allows immigration agents to defer deportation of low-risk, non criminal undocumented immigrants — would be expanded to all DREAM eligible youth.  As a result, governments are running ads on radio telling their citizens to get their children to America before this arrangement ends.  With no real impediment what-so-ever to their crossing the southern border, they’ve flooded in.  It’s sort of an “if you don’t build it (a wall) they will come” situation.  The “they” in this case not only includes the needy children but also includes large numbers drug traffickers, human smugglers probably some Islamic State terrorists, maybe a few ebola carriers etc.

Also complicit in this humanitarian crisis, in my opinion, is the US Council of Catholic Bishops.  The USCCB has been an open and loud advocate for amnesty – not only for children but for the 11 million illegal alien already in America.  Don’t think that the USCCB’s continuous calls for amnesty don’t affect people’s decision to risk entering the country illegally.  I agree it’s a humanitarian crisis, but the sequence of events leading to the crisis are all of our own doing.

I think everyone would agree that America can easily absorb 60,000 children.  Do you happen to know what the total will be or when the crisis will end?  Nobody in government seems to be capable of answering those questions.   When we reunite these children with their families, will that start a chain migration process that will increase the total number migrants entering the country due to this crisis by a factor of five to ten times?  And what about the other children of the world who face similar circumstances but cannot simply hop a train and arrive at an open American southern border?  Do we have some kind of orderly process to address those children? And not to be too crass, since the focus is on illegal migrant children, I assume that all American children have been fully served by USCCB.

I honestly believe that you and the USCCB don’t see this crisis in political terms.  That said, the undeniable truth is that how this crisis is handled will have far-reaching, long-term political ramification.  As has been the case with most issues of my adult life, USCCB chooses to side with Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry Catholics.

Governments fail for many reasons.  They become too big, corrupt and unresponsive to the people they are formed to serve.  In the final days, they use the treasury to buy votes and provide their security.  We are 17 trillion dollars in debt with no hope of this generation or the next ten paying that bill.  The IRS, Bureau of Land Management, NSA, DoJ, EPA, VA etc. seem to be staffed wholly with overpaid corrupt bureaucrats more interested in lining their own pockets than serving the people these agencies were established serve.  America has 45 million people on welfare, 11 million on disability, a labor force participation rate not seen since the 80s.  So it’s not surprising that the US Chamber of Commerce would be siding with the USCCB calling for an amnesty to provide a replacement work force for the one our government pays not to work.

America has been a force for good for the last 200 plus years, but anything that cannot last forever won’t.  I think America is reaching that point.  Then what?  Who will do the good works for children that Americans have done when we are an entire nation that looks like Detroit or California?

ISIS will capitalize on troube in Ferguson

Ain’t AlGore’s invention - the Internet – great!  Anyone from nearly anywhere in the world can log on to get their daily dose of Lex.  It can have its draw backs though.  A friend recently ran across an article about “peace-loving Muslims touting Adolf Hitler in London.”  My friend entered the conversation with this beauty:

“Not exactly news. Adolf Hitler is quite popular in the lands of the medieval Muslims. And why not; a genocidal maniac responsible for exterminating six million Jews would naturally be praised and beloved by a people so ignorant that they actually believe the God of the universe wants them to murder Jewish school children. It is obvious the Muslims are too stupid to recognize their peril. They are determined to go too far, and will. The United States, Israel or Great Britain will suffer a catastrophic attack; and at that point the hateful, medieval Muslims will reap what they have sown. No matter the degree to which the leftists in the West hate their countries; and no matter the desire of the barbaric Muslims to live in the 12th century, when our cities start to disappear beneath mushroom clouds, the same civilization that destroyed the Nazis, and the militarists in Japan, will rid the world of these grotesque, despicable, misogynist animals. God is great!”

Not too much later, my friend received the first ominous and anonymous threat on his person.  Until recently I’d have blown such threats off.  Until this.  The Daily News reports that ITF murdering freak Ali Muhammad Brown gunned “down at least four men in two states…as revenge for Muslims killed overseas.”

Why isn’t this national news?  Three reasons, 1) “ITF kills 4 innocent people” isn’t exactly a headline that gets anyone’s attention any more. It has been going on since Muhammad hooked up with his first under aged concubine.  The only thing that might strike people as remarkable about that headline would be: Only four?  2) “Angry black man kills four white people” is another dog bites man scenario.  There’s nothing to see here.  Move along.  The police chief assures us, “This is definitely not a hate crime.”  3)  It does not fit the template being established by race baiting, race hustling scoundrels like The Empty Suit, Eric the wad Holder, Revs? Al and Jesse and their lapdog MSM that racist America has a war on innocent black men.

I think it is a big deal.  We have a perfect storm brewing here.  We have an unsecure southern border.  TX Governor Rick Perry advises that ISIS has probably already infiltrated operatives inside the US.  We have an incompetent federal government that considers the Tea Party a greater threat to the country than ISIS.  The government can rally the IRS, DHS, EPA, BLM and all manner of federal agency against law abiding Americans wearing funny hats and carrying clever signs.  That government cannot (more likely will not) secure the southern border.  For this particular group of incompetents ISIS is the JV.  The real enemy is a free America.

For this bunch of race baiting buffoons, a dead black kid in Ferguson, MO, who may or may not have been shot in the line of duty, is far more important than four Americans gunned down by a truly hate filled black ITF.  It’s much easier to stir racial animus than cure it.  It’s much easier to make political hay while dancing on the grave of a dead man than confront ISIS or even just establish a coherent strategy and message to confront ISIS.

The Empty Suit has done none of that.  ISIS has lopped the head of an American off in front of the world.  TES grieved the loss of Foley while playing golf.  An ITF murderer killed four Americans.  Not a word from TES.  A black kid is killed in MO and the world stops.  TES, the DoJ, the governor of MO all condemn the police before the investigation into the circumstances of the shooting are announced.  TES ducks the memorial for Foley and the four murdered Americans but sends 3 representatives to Ferguson for Michael Brown’s funeral.

What if the investigation and/or trial prove Michael Brown provoked his own death?  What if as a result of the federal government’s heavy hand in the case and the governor’s insane statement about a “vigorous prosecution” the trial has to be moved to a lily white county for a fair trial?  I’d remind the race baiters, “justice” does not necessarily mean that Michael Brown was not responsible for his own death.

When all hell breaks loose after one of those scenarios, you can bet the ISIS ITF will be standing by to recruit the acolytes of the race baiting, race hustling anti-American black “leaders.”  I feel we are on the cusp of troubled times.  The post racial empty suit does more to provoke the trouble than calm the waters.  The Empty Suit is totally clueless how to deal with an inspired enemy that will not back down because the MSM called them racist for opposing The Empty Suit.  ISIS cannot be talked out of their mission.  The MSM meme of calling everyone who opposes TES a racist will have no effect on ISIS.  They wear that label proudly.
