Unless
you’re an elected Republi-Rat, at some point you have to fight. But the Rat strategy - it seems - is to
ALWAYS run away to fight, uh, er, make that run away to uh run away another
day. They are the Brave, Brave Sir Robins of American politics.
Rat political
smart guy Karl Rove is the chief “architect” of the Rat run away, and away, and
away, and away strategy. Rove Agrees that
Robertscare is the worst most threatening legislation to the American way of
life – but because of potential political fallout, Rove then boldly advised the
Republicans to do nothing about it during debt ceiling negotiations because of that pesky potential political fallout. The welfare of the party, after all, trumps the welfare of the country.
That’s
sort of like Washington deciding the water was too cold to cross the Delaware
and instead decides to husband his army for another opportunity or Eisenhower wanting to give
operations in Italy more time for success before crossing the English Channel
or MacArthur deciding the amphibious assault on Inchon too risky preferring
instead to slug it out around the Pusan perimeter.
Karl
Rove’s advise will always be to wait for a better opportunity. And if one does not present itself for 10
years into Roberscare well that’s better than getting a bloody nose fighting the
good fight.
Note to
Karl and like minded Rats, with great risk comes great reward. This may be the last best chance to put a
dagger into the heart of Robertscare.
Republicans should not let it pass in the hope of a better opportunity.

From the Griffin...
Well said. I would add the Unions, government employees, business leaders, doctors, etc, could have a coalition in fighting to stop Robertscare. It is not just Republi-Rats. How about a sit down and photo op with Ted Cruz and J.Hoffa Jr? Topic being the ACA. Next, Paul Ryan and the head of the IRS union? Same topic. I would think the pucker factor of some big wig union people and dem senators will be going way up. The Repubs need to line up a coalition.
