Guns keep American safe everyone should have one or two

Here’s an interesting story.  One thing being left out of the argument – so far anyway – by the gun grabbing left and weak kneed Rat establishment Republicans is the kind of self-defense featured in the article in the link.

Armed American citizens use guns for self-defense somewhere between 500,000 and three million times a year.  Holy cow Lex, that’s quite spread.  Well consider that a majority of these self-defense episodes may have gotten no further than the armed citizen displaying a gun to end the threat, and it explains a lot.

Three menacing guys are approaching a woman at night.  She stops.  She reaches into her purse and pulls out her .380.  The potential perps see the gun and cross the street.  

What’s the woman to do?  If she calls the cops what’s to report?  More than the likely the cops are going to have as many questions for her response as to the potential attack by the perps.  If the incident occurs in one of the Demo-Dope controlled hell holes, the woman may be hauled in and charged for protecting herself.  If there’s no harm no foul on either side, why call the cops?

Also remember the curious case of white Hispanic George Zimmerman.  Zimmerman was on neighborhood watch when he shot and killed petty thief, thug and druggie Tayvon Martin - who looked a lot like empty suit Barry Obama’s son…if had one.  

Martin attacked Zimmerman for following him through the neighborhood.  While Martin was on top of Zimmerman trying to crack his skull on the sidewalk, Zimmerman was able to reach his pistol and shoot Martin dead.

Zimmerman’s life as he knew it was over.  The MSM airbrushed the story.  First they portrayed Zimmerman as a white Hispanic.  That was the first time I’d heard that description in news story.  Then the MMS went and got baby pictures of Martin and portrayed Martin a skinny 8^th grader.  Then MesSNBC doctored the 911 tape recording to make Zimmerman appear to be a racist.  It has never ended for Zimmerman.

So why in the world would anyone want to bring leftist race baiting on themselves by reporting a “no harm no foul” weapons use? 

One thing in all of this, even the CDC is forced to admit that firearms are used at LEAST as many times for self-defense as they are to commit crimes. My guess is that they are used many times more in self-defense that go unreported.

ReRs need to start pointing out these self-defense statistics regularly and forcefully.

Doriangate

The MSM is all aglow lampooning PDJT for saying that Dorian threatened Alabama. It did – even if ever so slightly.  Alabama was inside Dorian’s cone of uncertainty that at one time or another seemed to include everything from the Cape Horn to Greenland. 

If PDJT didn’t know where Dorian was headed he was in a group that included every other hurricane forecaster. 

Alabama was had the exact same percent chance of Dorian hitting there as the FL Keys.  The FL keys did experience tropical storm force winds that canceled Labor Day activities there – so…

But it’s funny to watch the MSM feeding frenzy on the slip of the tongue or truth – whatever.  The Empty Suite once declared that he’d visited “all 57 state.”  Slow Joe Biden claimed he jumped into Panama for Operation Just Cause with the 117th Norwegian Rangers to pin a Chartreuse Cross Medal with peach colored cluster on a Coast Guard Admiral who said to him “give me the damn thing you bald headed bastard before you forget why you’re here.”

The MSM dutifully ignores every and all Dope F-ups while focusing on PDJT ad nauseam on for far less egregious gaffes. But whattayagunado?    

Today’s JG rant – PDJT didn’t kill off Sears

Wow, how could Rob Bogie get every aspect of Sears’s demise absolutely bassakwards in his letter “Symbolic transformation” of Sep 6, 2019?

Here’s the truth.

Trump didn’t kill America’s love affair with shopping malls.  The Interent did.  Sears, the anchor at one end or the other of the Jurassic mall concept, died with that now outdated model and younger, more agile and more innovative competition.

Blaming Trump, a life-long teetotaler, for a “drinking establishment” occupying Sears’s once prime real estate at the mall is rich.  Wouldn’t it be better to blame Democrat Mayor Henry for the “transformation”?  I’m sure he’d happily take credit for it.

From its founding in 1893, Sears experienced remarkable success.  In pre-Walmart days, it was the largest retailer in America. It last turned a profit in 2010.  Since then it has slid into bankruptcy.  So the once wildly successful retailer of 100 plus years was only able to survive 2 years of the Obama administration’s disastrous economic policies.

We are far from the “strip mall, tobacco outlet, payday-loan country” Bogie describes in his letter.  Manufacturing jobs that Obama once told us were gone forever are coming home under Trump’s economic vision.  Labor force participation is at an all-time high.  Unemployment, particularly in the most chronically under-employed segments of the country, is at a 50 year low.  

The only people who "rolled over in [their] grave" at Sears's demise are the same ones who miraculously vote Democrat every two years.      

Symbolic transformation

Tearing down Sears, the original delivery, hardware and department store, to replace it with a boys playing video games and drinking establishment is definitely a sign and symptom of post-Trump America.

My grandfather rolled over in his grave. We are now a strip mall, tobacco outlet, payday-loan country.
