I am once again experiencing technical difficulties with my main computer. It has contracted a nasty bug. When the tech asked what it was doing, I told him - whatever it wants to. So I've been upgraded to Lex jr's laptop. It's like trying to fly the Space Shuttle after learning to fly a Piper Cub.
I see where King Rectalorifice has taken to quoting the Pope. He must have missed the Pope's inviolable stance on abortion. Besides the Pope coming out for helping the poor is sort of like King SFB coming out for a golfing vacation. Everyone expects it.
OK for Pope Francis and King SFB, which is the best way to help the poor, people donating money to the Catholic Church, which has a proven record of efficiently in educating, feeding, clothing and housing the poor; or giving the money to King MacGoofus who has a track record of dumping 600+ million dollars on a website that is totally FUBARed, and dumping a trillion dollars on stimulus plan that didn't stimulate anything but a handful of King Douche's donors to kick back a portion of their ill gotten stimulus money for D-bag's reelection?
OK everyone with a brain agrees that governments, particularly the US government, and particularly the US government headed up by a clueless affirmative action pass through know nothing that cannot find its own metaphorical azz using both hands. Hint, check 1600 PA Ave.
So what is the best way to provide resources to the people who help the poor? Taxes? No. In the US, charity raises a heck of a lot more money for disaster relief than the government is able to send. So the private sector is the way to go. What is the most profitable way to run the private sector? Government telling entrepreneurs how to run their businesses, sort of like telling people what kind of healthcare they need? No. Regulated capitalism has proven to be the best way to organize an economy.
So if the Pope and King SFB really want to help the poor, which one does and the other doesn't, they'd encourage a moral capitalist system that created wealth that could then be directed by citizens to their favorite charities. The Pope doesn't do this because he sees wealth in and of itself as corrupting. But it's not money that is the root of all evil, it is the love of money.
King SFB is a different case. I truly believe that he couldn't care less about the poor, or he'd be living like his new found hero, the Pope. That will never happen. King Jugears only cares about the poor to the extent that he can keep them dependent upon him and the Dope party for their daily cup of gruel in order to keep them voting Dope.
I actually believe that King SFB and his merry band of azzbags are out to create as many government dependents as possible to create an unassailable block of dependent voters that require government handouts instead of a job to support their family. I wonder what Pope Francis would think of such a leader - one who creates government sponsored poverty?
I have noted before on this page that the Catholic Church teaming up with the Dopes is like the guide of an African safari making a deal with a tribe of cannibals. The guide will lead the safari into tribe's trap as long as the cannibals agree to eat him last. For Pope Francis and Cardinal Dolan: Once they have extracted from you what they need, the Demo-Dopes will revoke your tax exempt status, close your churches and jail as many of you as they can round up. If they can force Americans to buy BS health insurance, what makes you think that they can't lock you up.

From the Griffin...
The WH wishes everyone Happy Holidays, not a Merry Christmas, moves our Vatican Embassy to Rome, dictates mandatory abortion insurance in our healthcare, drops the word God from the Gettysburg Address, taps into the Pope's phones, then pals up to the Pope on how we treat the poor. Our VP Slow Joe dropped a buck-eighty to charity last year while Romney dropped in $14M and was accused of being greedy. The WH and King Dip are users of people. If Jesus showed up to feed the poor and wash their feet, King Dip and The Atheists would show up for the photo-op. There is a special place in hell for those that use the church to gain fame and fortune while pretending to help the poorest of us. Hey! I am no angel, but that is a place I won't go. Probably too crowded. Out of room for me anyway.
