If you ponder this photo shopped photo of America’s last Cambodian War hero -Johnny a Purple Heart a day Kerry – with well known traitor Jane Fonda, you begin to understand how totally screwed we are.  Sure the photo is fake but their anti-American, anti-war BS while better men were dying in the field wasn't.  Now that pant load - Kerry not Fonda - is SecState.  What could go wrong?

Getting the really big issues right

Speaking of being screwed, the Department of Defense is being led by a box of rocks – Chuck Hagel.  The wannbe GOFOs who populate the Pentagon are more interested in their own careers than fighting battles and winning wars.  In the midst of what Hagel called “a world on fire,” the Pentagon finally took on the one issue sure to keep America the land of the free and the home of the brave.  Hagel and the wannbes caved to the Congressional Black Caucus on hairstyles for black female service members.  The world wondered when America would finally take a principled stand black female hair styles.  It sounds a bit racist and sexist to me, “black female” hair styles.  I wonder if the great minds at the Pentagon are familiar with the word “uniform”?  Shouldn’t there be one uniform standard for all members? 

The good news is that now that that Earth shattering bit of business is out of the way the wannabes at the Pentagon can get back to their sworn duty, which they believe is now to determine how long a Seik service member’s beard can be.  I’d like to see Hagel’s “to do” list.

The whole thing reminds me of a summer football practice long ago.  Summer was winding down and school was about to start.  As such, after practice one evening, Coach Locke warned us not to get in trouble with the school principal over long hair – yeah it was a big a big deal back then.  “Just get your hair cut,” he told us.  One fool questioned Coach Locke’s edict.  “Gee coach what difference does it make how long our hair is?”  Coach flashed that look he got when it was 3^rd and 2 on long a drive, “That’s right.  It doesn’t make a difference.  So get your G** DAMN HAIR CUT!”  That pretty much settled it.  

But yeah, rest assured America’s "leadership" such as it is, is focusing on the all the right things to wit hairdos, golf, lunch menus, campaign money, etc. I'm sure solving "a world on fire" is on the "to do" list somewhere.
