Players engaged in disrespectful PR stunt, upset at being upstaged by a respectful PR stunt

Eric Reid is the perfect spokesman for why the way overpaid National Kneeball League (NKL) douchebags are disrespecting the Anthem, flag and the country. According to the super smart Reid, "This [protest] is not about the military.  This is not about the flag. This is not about the anthem.”

Hmm.  That makes about as much sense as protesting down at the abortion center but claiming it’s not about abortion.  It is about abortion.  It makes as much sense as me telling you I’m protesting the NKL by not watching any of their BS games, but it is not about NKL.  Oh wait.  It is.  Then there's the age old adage, it's not about the money.  What's the one thing that's absolutely certain when someone says, "It's not about the money?"  You can take it to the bank, it's about the money.

So, okay Eric, why do it during the Anthem then?  Huh?  Can’t hear you. 

So if taking a knee during the Anthem is not about the flag or the Anthem, what is it about?  Well according to Reid it’s about equality and “systematic oppression.”  Great!  I’ve been calling for equality in the NKL for years.  The league is populated by athletically talented minos by over 70%.  Were it not for that inequality, there’s no doubt a mediocre talent like myself could have had a shot*.

NOTE:  Unless “equality” included mandatory hiring of slow, uncoordinated, under-weight white guys with no hand eye coordination, I’d still never have made it.  Even if there was a rule requiring hiring a certain number of players from that set, I’d still probably not have been in the running - unless there was a rule requiring the hiring of a least one player on each team from the bottom 10% of that set. So yeah, if that’s the case for the NKL, NO JUSTICE.  NO PEACE.

So what is this "systemic oppression" Reid is talking about?  Well part of it is if the Vice President of the United States comes to a game and decides to walk out to protest the protesters, that’s systemic oppression. 

YGBSM.  Can anyone really be that obtuse and hypocritical?  Sadly, there is no limit to the stupidity and hypocrisy of the left.  According to the Lefty Libs, VP Pence walking out on a protest of the American flag and Anthem is a “PR stunt.”  And NKL douchebags taking a knee during the Anthem is…what?  Oh right, a PR stunt.
