BITCH!

No not her. (G) assbag frozen face Nancy Pelosi finally admits that the surge is working, but read on who the nitwit gives the credit to:

Well, the purpose of the surge was to provide a secure space, a time for the political change to occur to accomplish the reconciliation. That didn’t happen. Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal.

And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians.

This really pisses me off.

She’s against the surge.
Claims the surge isn’t working.
Then ends up giving credit for the surge’s success to…Petraeus? Hell NO! The US troops then? Hell NO! Well then surely to the Iraqi government and people? Double hell NO! The simple-minded bimbo credits Iran.

This brings me to a golden oldie. Libs like Pelosi are forever claiming that their patriotism can never be questioned. OK fine, but what would this royal douche bag have said if she WERE an anti-American piece of bovine excrement? Answer: The exact same thing.

And this isn’t coming from some stupid, uninformed, race baiting, affirmative action hire from the 35th district in CA (aka Maxine Waters). This is coming from the Speaker of the House - third in succession to the president.

This is stunning! Oh but were that true. In fact, it’s not stunning. It’s typical. The highest ranking government leader in the Democrat Party credits the enemy for the hard won victories of US forces.

I guess now we know what B-HO will talk about with the Iranians and it ain't the high price of arugula. B-HO’s opening statement:

Ah well, good morning, I first want to thank President Ahmadinejad for inviting me here for this surrender - ah scratch that - summit. I know that people in all 58 US states are delighted that we are finally talking. Next I want thank Mahmoud for his country’s help in arranging this surrender – damn, disregard that – this summit. Had not been for your “goodwill” in killing so many US troops in Iraq the American people might not have tired of the war so quickly – and been foolish enough to elect me president. I also want to thank the Iranian people for the beautiful prayer rug presented to me at this morning’s prayers. I’ll be sure to use it five times a day.

It's a conspiracy

I’m not a conspiracy theory nut. To prove it, I’ve come up with my own conspiracy theory.

How’s this, the oil producing countries know that the next big thing is just around the corner. They know that within five years hydrogen power, coal liquidification and nuclear power are going to make running something on Saudi oil akin to using a Betamax or 8 track tape system. So they jack the price of their oil up just ahead of the new development to get what money they can before oil prices fall through the floor after the world starts converting to the new technology.

Now as conspiracy theories go, this one’s probably not up there with the black helicopter – trilateral commission crowd, but what if? I saw on Glenn Beck the other day where GM is working on the hydrogen powered car and one of the biggest stumbling blocks seems to be a hydrogen distribution system NOT making the car go. They project hydrogen can produced and sold for the equivalent of a dollar a gallon. Another man claims to have developed an air powered car. Popular mechanics says the car will cost about $12,000. It can travel about 120 miles at speeds up to 60mph and “it should cost around $2 to fill the car’s carbon-fiber tanks with 340 liters of air at 4350 psi. Drivers also will be able to plug into the electrical grid and use the car’s built-in compressor to refill the tanks in about 4 hours.” We know that nuclear works. We just have to go out and pursue it. A WV Dem – soon to be ex-Dem with thinking like this – is proposing an accelerated coal liquidification R&D program.

Maybe the Saudis see the handwriting on the wall and are trying to get what they can get while they can get it. The only other option would be to do what they have done in the past – flood the market with oil dropping the cost to the point of making any R&D seem foolish. That is what they did 30 years ago when we first got serious – at least temporarily - about energy independence during the OPEC oil embargo. Hopefully we won't fall for the same trick twice.

So now that we’ve broken the conspiracy theory nut ice, let me tell you who really shot JFK.

What's the matter with B-HO voters?

One of every moms’ favorite sayings is, “Be careful what you ask for. You just might get it.” If/when the Dems nominate B-HO here’s what they’ll be getting:

Item one: B-HO and the lemmings in the MSM bill him as the great unifier. The truth is
B-HO and his questionable association with HIS stark raving mad, lunatic, racist preacher have actually divided his party along racial lines. His idiotic elitist remarks from “have you seen the cost of arugula at the whole foods market” to “those bitter people cling to their Bibles and guns” have divided America into the east/west coast elite vs. the rest of us. His dopey affirmative action queen wife’s remarks about “never being proud of America” and “America is a down right mean county” along with B-HO’s own association with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers has divided Americans into patriots vs. new world America sucks losers (aka the Dem’s base).

Item two: In everything from hate crimes legislation to affirmative action, Dems portray the Reps who stand up for the constitution as racists. Dems have been touting their numeric advantage in registration, money raised and party affiliation as a sign that they are on the way to winning the 08 election – BIG. Should B-HO lose, it’ll demonstrate that it is in fact the Dems who are the racists. Given all of those advantages, a McCain win will require some Dems crossing over into Rep territory to vote for the white guy. It’s an odd thing in the Dem’s loony world, when 98% of blacks vote for the black guy they are called activists voting their best interests. When a slim majority of whites vote for the white guy they are called racists. (Hit tip AF bro)

Item three: Would you advocate talking to the neighbor who bragged about poisoning your dog and threatened to kidnap and kill your kids and burn down your friend’s house? Or would you call the cops on the bastard and hope that he would resist arrest so the cops had to beat the hell out of him? B-HO has been advocating a “can’t we all just get along” foreign policy. His idea is to sit down with the likes of Ahmadinejad over tea and crumpets and ask that ol’ Mahmoud please stop killing Americans in Iraq. He wants to sit down with Hamas and Hezbollah to ask…what? Could you please stop blowing yourselves up in Israeli pizza parlors? It is completely possible to tell these murdering bastards what they need to be told without the President of the United States ever sitting down at a table with them and giving them an ounce of legitimacy.

Last: If B-HO has his way – “we can’t be eating as much as we want, driving our SUVs and keeping our thermostats at 72 degrees” – you can bet it won’t be “the rich” who will suffer. “The rich” will always find a way out of the tax hikes B-HO wants to impose. “The rich” will always have money for gas and food. After all they’re rich because they are more talented, more savvy and/or smarter than most. It’ll be the young fools who have bought into B-HO’s spell of “hope” and “change” and yes blacks who suffer most. The rich Reps and hypocrite limousine liberal Dems will go on as if nothing has changed and simply wait the idiot out. It will be the young fools and blacks who will be laid off as soon B-HO’s confiscatory government tax policy makes it impossible to do business in America. It’ll be the young fools who voted B-HO who won’t be able to afford a tank of gas or a bundle of arugula at the whole foods market. It’ll be the young people who are saddled with an increasingly dangerous world before B-HO understands – NO, as the matter of fact, unless WE convert to Islam, we CAN’T all just get along.

American ingenuity is the key

The local fish wrap is awash with editorials and letters to the editor whining about the high price of gas. All of them seem to be of the “we need to tax the oil companies’ profit” variety. None have offered an opinion on how “taxing their profits” will deliver even a single drop of additional oil to the pump.

One genius even thought it’d be a good idea to “break up” the American oil companies. That makes sense. If three huge oil companies cannot bring the cost of oil down, 20-30 small ones could. That’s why McDonald’s hamburgers are so much more expensive than everyone else’s. McDonald’s is just too big. We need a dozen or so mini-Mac’s.

(Voice in head: “Pssst, Lex! It’s backwards dude. McDonald’s hamburgers are the CHEAPEST!”)

Huh? How can that be? Big hamburger has got to be gouging us. After all, I’ll bet Americans visit the drive thru more often than they do the gas pump. And what with the summer little league baseball practice and early evening games, you know mom’s going to be looking for a convenient way to feed little Johnny. Big hamburger will jacking up the cost of Happy Meals right during the peak drive thru season. It happens every year.

Well if it’s not true for big hamburger, why would it hold true for big oil?

Another local genius proclaims - with all the certainty of Lex jr. stating that in fact his room is clean - that we “cannot drill our way to energy independence.” But just like we know that the first thing we are likely to see when we go to inspect jr.’s room is a pair of dirty skivvies right in the middle of the floor, we know we have the resources and ingenuity here to become self sufficient.

We’re Americans for God’s sake! Let’s start acting like it. Why are we letting ourselves be held hostage by a bunch of Middle East, thugs, tyrants, kings and emirs or worse a bunch of know nothing, do nothing, be nothing green weenies?

We remember

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate—we can not consecrate—we can not hallow—this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

In defense of big oil

Immediately following 9-11, the (g)assbags that run congress were in high dudgeon over “intelligence failures.” So (g)assbags being (g)assbags, they did what (g)assbags do they feigned outrage. “How could this happen?” “Heads must roll!” Whose head? Well anyone’s but theirs of course. So the inevitable “hearings” were conducted where true to (g)assbag form their was more pontificating from the (g)assbags than hearing. Then the 9-11 commission was formed to spread blame evenly and hold no one particularly accountable.

The whole point was for the (g)assbags to have a forum from which to pontificate and show the folks back home how tough they could be. As a result the (g)assbags missed the crucial point. It was they who allowed or at least significantly contributed to allowing the 9-11 disaster. The Church amendment neutered CIA human intell efforts and the Reno Justice Department’s “wall” preventing the CIA and FBI from cooperating ensured the Saudi jihadis’ success. Did anyone call anyone who voted for Church’s idiotic amendment on the carpet and interrogate them? Hell NO. (G)assbags are a protected class particularly at “hearings” conducted by other (g)assbags.

This week the (g)assbags were at it again. This time they were feigning outrage over the cost of gas. The (g)assbags had the heads of all of the American oil companies up on the hill where the execs were assaulted by the likes of RC Durbin and what passes as an intellectual giant among Dems Maxine Waters.

The (g)assbags laid the wood to the execs blaming the oil companies for the high cost of gas. Preening for the cameras the (g)assbags tried to outdo each other in their contempt for these private Americans citizens who run the companies who provide oil on nearly every street corner in America. Never once did anyone ask, “How many Americans are invested in your company today?” or “Do you have an obligation to your share holders to take a reasonable profit?”

Never was there a question directed at the (g)assbags who by their slavish loyalty to the eco-nut fringe prevent any new drilling, any new refinery capacity, any nuclear construction, any coal gasification, any clean coal technology, any deregulation of fuel blends, any distribution plan for hydrogen or any R&D for a fossil fuel substitute that doesn’t include burning our food supply as an alternative to burning the resources perfectly suited to the purpose of running automobiles.

Rather than address the true problem – exploiting our natural resource to ease demand – the (g)assbags decided to, excuse this, throw fuel on the fire by allowing the Justice Department to sue OPEC for price fixing. I’m sure OPEC will just sit back and take that. They won’t drive costs higher by withholding more supply. They won’t stop bailing out our banks who made bad home loans – because the (g)assbags told the banks they had to.

What is clear to everyone but the (g)assbags is that we need more supply. And rather than begging the Saudis to provide more oil so that we can pay them a $136 a barrel - that they reinvest in madrases here in the US and other Western countries to teach radical Wahabism – we should be getting our own damn oil!

The (g)assbags are the problem. When they hold “hearings” they do everything but listen.

B-HO to discuss the rising price of arugula with Ahmadinejad

B-HO has proven himself to be a dope in many ways:

He has visited 57 of the 58 states.
He wants more Arab speakers for Afghanistan.
He's concerned about the price of arugula at the whole foods market?
He claimed 10,000 people were killed by a tornado.
He sat in the Rev Wright's church for 20 years and claims “not knowing” Wright was a racist lunatic.
He shared a stage and boardroom with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers.

But the dopiest of the dopiest is his willingness to sit down and have tea while chatting with the world’s most heinous dictators. To be fair, B-HO has gone from sitting down unconditionally with dictators from Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and North Korea as stated in the CNN YouTube debate to, “Well we’d have lay the ground work first. And John McCain knows I need the Cuban vote so Cuba is pretty much off the table and I never said I’d sit with Cuban dictators anyway. Except for the times that I did – but that’s all a distraction from the real issues and won’t help my children.”

What are you going to talk about with Ahmadinejad?

B-HO: So Mahmoud, what’s the cost arugula in the Tehran whole foods market?
MA: We will destroy you. You are the great Satan.
B-HO: Would you mind not saying that? It’s hard for me convince the American people that you’re an OK guy when you talk like that.
MA: We will destroy you. You are the great Satan.
B-HO: Look, you’re OK. I’m OK. Can’t we all just get along?
MA: We will destroy you. You are the great Satan.

At the joint presser following the “talks”:

Reporter: President B-HO did you achieve your goal?
B-HO: Yes, we have achieved peace in our time.
Reporter: President Ahmadinejad, is that true?
MA: We will destroy them. They are the great Satan.
B-HO: Now Mahmoud, you promised you wouldn’t say that.

Seems to me we ought to be supporting some anti-government Iranian rebels. We should encourage those rebels to put pressure on the Iranian government by attacking and destroying the Iranian government’s only means of propping up its dictatorship – oil revenue. Iran has but one oil refinery. Insurgents ought to be targeting that asset relentlessly. We should be limiting crude oil going in and refined oil coming out and if possible the facility itself.

AAAHHHHHHHH! The price gas will go through the roof!!! Yes it will. And that might force us to start using some of our own resources. We have trillions of cubic feet of natural gas, billions of barrels of oil, nearly limitless supplies of coal, the ability to safely build and manage nuclear facilities and the ingenuity to get on with developing the next “big thing.”

What’s stopping us? Green weenies and cheap oil. As I sat with other parents in 15-20 degrees below normal temperatures freezing at a Little League game last night, I thought maybe cooling temps and high gas prices are going to cause thinking Americans to abandon the green weenies and get on with providing the fossil energy required until the next big thing can be developed.

What's the main thing?

While B-HO tries to win working white votes by complaining about the price of arugula in rural KY whole foods markets and the Shrillda Beast tries to scare up votes by promising to “take” petroleum companies’ profits, John McCain continues to appear very presidential by warning Americans of the number one threat to our freedom – Islamo-terror-fascism. But, yawn, how can we possibly be worried about pan Islamo-terror-fascism when arugula is through the roof and gas is $4 a gallon?

Well we’d better wake the hell up or the only thing we’re going to have to be worried about is when our government issued prayer rugs will arrive.

And while Lex has noted how Bush has gotten the major issue of the day – ITF – by and large correct, there have been some troubling developments in the administration. SecDef Gates said the US should adopt more conciliatory policies toward Iran, including unofficial contacts and talks with the regime - this at a time when U.S. troops are dying in Iraq from Iranian-supplied bombs. Gates’ comments came on the heels of a State Dept. memo telling government officials to avoid using the term “Islamic” when referring to the terrorists.

This is a response to the discovery by the Staties that it’s really the Ladder Saints who are causing all of the world’s problems – what with their missions all over the world to hack off infidel’s heads, fly airplanes into tall buildings, self detonate in crowded pizza parlors and otherwise claim the role of perpetual victim by killing people who make fun of Mormon Church founder Joseph Smith. I for one am happy the State Dept. has finally gotten this right. As a measure of solidarity, I’ve deep sixed my Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas CD collection.

To be fair the State Dept. has been populated with a bunch of career left wing surrender monkeys since the end of WWII. Also, Israel let slip that an “unnamed Bush advisor” said that Bush would bomb Iran before leaving office. Watch Olbermann if that happens. "You Mister Bush are THE TERRORIST!" Then his head explodes and the Nelson laugh from the Simpsons is looped over and over.

It’s probably all a big kabuki dance designed to keep Ahmadinejad up at night wondering what the hell Bush is up to. The problem is it keeps me up at night wondering the same thing.

We can't be eating as much arugula as we want

B-HO: "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK"

When I first saw this on Sunday, I thought, it had to be a mistake. It’s not. B-HO was rallying his eco-nut supporters in OR when he uttered this non-sense. This is dangerous stuff. YOU can’t drive YOUR SUV. YOU can’t eat as much as YOU want. YOU can’t have YOUR thermostat set at 72 degrees. Libs of course can do whatever they want because after all, we know that what they tell us to do will in no way affect their own behavior.

And I’ll guarantee you this, B-HO’s answer to this problem will not be to lift “other countries” up to America’s standard. His answer will be to tax into oblivion any American who eats when and what he wants, drives what he wants and keeps his family warm in winter. B-HO’s answer will be to bring America’s standard of living down to that of the “other countries.”

B-HO will be like your mom turning down the thermostat as she walks by in her sweater and while asking, “Who keeps turning this up?” Mom was doing it to save the family a few pennies here and there. B-HO is doing it because he, like his never been proud of America wife, is embarrassed by American success and ingenuity.

B-HO would rather Americans stay home all day and go to bed hungry in a cold house than to have some Euro weenie tisc tiscing us for our consumption. As such he will be taxing everything from arugula at the whole foods market to the gas that goes into anything other than a 50 MPG B-HO approved tin can.

When American hi-way deaths mount as a result of the tin-cans hitting butterflies, B-HO’s response will be, “Increased hi-way deaths are the least Americans can do for ‘other countries.’”

Fake war hero trashes a real one

The Des Monies Register printed this little nugget that – SURPRISE – hasn’t received much play in the MSM:

Republican presidential candidate John McCain's family background as the son and grandson of admirals has given him a worldview shaped by the military, "and he has a hard time thinking beyond that," Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Ia., said Friday.

"I think he's trapped in that," Harkin said in a conference call with Iowa reporters. "Everything is looked at from his life experiences, from always having been in the military, and I think that can be pretty dangerous."

Harkin said that "it's one thing to have been drafted and served, but another thing when you come from generations of military people and that's just how you're steeped, how you've learned, how you've grown up."

What makes this even worse is that Harkin, a military veteran himself, thought military service was important and honorable enough during his 1992 senate re-election campaign to embellish (i.e lie about) his own service record. So, for Tom Harkin – a pretend hero – it’s better to fake like you’re war hero than to actually be one.

Also, in Harkin’s bizzaro world, it’s better to be plucked off the street involuntarily than to stand in line and volunteer to defend your country. A willing warrior, according to Harkin, is less desirable than the unwilling one. No doubt Harkin will be introducing legislation to restore the draft this week.

McCain’s response? Can’t find one. If one does crop up, it’ll no doubt be of the “we’re going to run a respectable campaign” variety. I’d love to hear McCain lose his temper on this one.

And that’s why Lex is not the communications director for anyone’s campaign.

You talkin' 'bout me?

Ain’t George Bush great? Ya just gotta love this guy. He’s not conservative but he’s a decent guy who’s gotten the big issue of the day right – even if his execution has been less than stellar. And the fact that the lefties just loath the guy for no particular reason is icing on the cake.

Our hero showed up at the Israeli Knesset yesterday and delivered this truism:

Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is –- the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.

Even though Bush never mentions anyone by name, Dems immediately said, hey that sounds like us. This is outrageous!! They spent the whole day denouncing Bush for characterizing the natural Lib tendency to surrender even though he never uses anyone’s name.

This is GREAT! It’s like when a two year old is in the room throwing a hissy fit and mom says to dad, “Someone’s being a little grouchy pants and needs to take a nap.” And dad says, “FINE, wake me up for the 4:00 game!”

Dems all day long were just priceless. He’s talking about US! Damn him. I had to watch Olbermann last night just watch him blow up and right on cue he went into one of his “You Mr. Bush are a liar” blue faced screeds. I love it when “dummy” Bush says, “Good morning” and the entire Looney Tunes left responds in unison, “LIKE HELL IT IS!!!!”

I’m for four more years for Bush just to hear the left whine! Ol’ Olby’s head would surely explode two days after inauguration day.

Special disasters

Dems and their MSM lemmings are leaping for joy. Reps continue to wring their hands. About what? Special elections that’s what. Dems have swept three heretofore safe Rep seats. I’m not wringing my hands because the Dems have placed three more social and fiscal conservatives among themselves. Besides, I walked away from the Rep party during the immigration BS and I ain’t going back. The only thing these results tell me is that, everything else being equal, Americans would rather have conservative Dems in government than conservative Reps.

Unfortunately, Reps like McCain think it’s a sign that they should try to be Dem Lite. Yeah, we’re for government health care but ours is less expensive. Sure we hate big oil too but we want to suspend the federal tax on gas for 3 months. Yes we’ve bought into the global warming hoax as well, but we want capitalism to find the cure to the non-existent problem. Hint to John McCain here, cap and trade is NOT a capitalistic solution to the non-existent problem. It’ll be an unseen tax on everything produced.

I look at these Rep loses just like a look at gas prices. The worse it gets the sooner someone will wake the hell up and do something about it. I don’t know how many seats the Reps will have to lose before they decide hey:

Maybe it’s a good idea to be energy independent and do the things necessary to make it happen.

Islamo-terror-fascism is the biggest danger facing America and we’d better get serious about it.

Universal healthcare is going to lead us to another unaffordable socialist government program.

The government is too big and takes too much of what Americans earn. Stop taking Americans’ money to redistribute to other less productive Americans or waste it on bridges to nowhere.

GET THE HELL OUT...please

For the last month and a half, pundits, party grandees and other people without much to do have been pondering why the Shrillda Beast refuses to step aside. If you can stand it, tune in for the first 20 minutes of Keith Olbermann (aka Bathtub Boy). He is among the most obsessed with the Beast’s exit. Every single night it seems Olby and crew add the numbers up and come to the same conclusion, she can’t win. So why does she persist?

Probably for the same reason Olby and the boys persist in pondering why she persists. Because she can and who knows maybe Rush Limbaugh will hand her a popular vote victory – counting FL and MI of course. This is my dream scenario. Then we could listen to (g)assbags like Olby twist themselves into knots trying to justify nominating B-HO, with fewer popular votes than Shillda, when they’ve been crying themselves to sleep every night since the 2000 election claiming AlGore won the popular vote.

Except for combat, NASCAR and other sports, I think bowing out gracefully and fighting to the absolute bitter end are equally admirable. Why not fight B-HO all the way to the convention? He’s already displayed a pension for poor judgment with regard to off-hand remarks and the people he chooses to associate with. Who knows what might crop up in the few remaining weeks? The beast might as well be in a position to collect the chips if ol’ B-HO folds late in the game.

Besides if she runs B-HO into the ground exposing his weaknesses in the primary, McCain can finish him off in Nov. That would allow a 64 year old Shrillda Beast a clear shot at the Dem nomination in 2012.

But I don’t get the obsession among the chatters about her getting out. If you want the Dem primary to be over, act like it’s over. It’d be a better approach to treat B-HO as the nominee and just ignore Shrillda - sort of like the MSM did after Iowa - than to endlessly chatter on and on about her calling atention to her cause.

Hey Ron Paul is still running against McCain. You don’t hear us whining like cut dogs. I’d have voted for him in the IN primary but my vote was much more important on the Dem side. Except for his goofy isolationism, there’s not too much I find disagreeable about Paul.

Our mission is to win the war

In the movie Saving Private Ryan, there is a scene where hero Capt John Miller directs his team to assault an enemy machine gun nest. His team understandably is a bit reluctant to do so. One of the men points out that assaulting the machinegun nest is not really their mission. Without a moment’s hesitation, Miller looks the man in the eyes and says, “Our mission is to win the war.”

Now you’d like to think that actors learn something from the roles they play. Apparently they don’t. In Saving Private Ryan, Capt Miller was played by Tom Hanks. Hanks recently endorsed B-HO - which proves the point. Actors are like 99.99% of politicians, they are just reading the lines. Adding insult to the point, Hanks produced the real life story of Easy Company of the US Army 101st Airborne division - Band Of Brothers.

I have wondered on this page before what if we all just wanted to win the war. Forget the endless BS liberal debate on how we got into the war in Iraq. We’re there. Let’s just win the damned thing.

There is a thing called cognitive dissonance that explains why low paid employees will express greater satisfaction with their jobs than highly paid workers. The theory goes that the low paid worker will rationalize why they stay with their low paid job by expressing love for the company, the boss or the job itself.

This was all explained to me by some egghead somewhere long ago to explain why Marines are so loyal to the Corps. The reasoning goes, Marines are underpaid, treated like sh*&, get the worst equipment and are expected to do everything with nothing. Yet Marines for the most part are the most loyal to their service branch. There is nothing to explain that loyalty other than cognitive dissonance i.e. over the top irrational rationalization.

I tried to explain - what to him was the Marine mystique - with words like, history, tradition, élan, esprit, brotherhood etc. all to no avail. Finally I told him he’d just have to sign up to understand the whole thing.

Well I think that America needs a bit of reality with regard to the war on terror. I don’t see a country at war when I look around America. I see an armed services and their families at war but not a country. America is like the highly paid worker who feels fine about irrationally cussing the company or the boss because after all he’s making a lot of money and has nothing to rationalize with regard to his own position. America goes along uninterrupted with very few war related inconveniences. So it’s easy to complain about the country, the president, SecDef, the Army, the UN et al.

It’s been a while since Lex expounded on his theory of halves – it’s probably down to quarters by now. Only ¼ of Americans believe we’re in a war. Only ¼ of those who believe we’re actually in a war have any idea of what is required to win. Only ¼ of those who have a hint of what is required to win have any idea of what is at stake.

Right now America needs more Capt Millers - our mission is to win the war - and fewer Tom Hanks – vote for B-HO so we can quit.

I don’t know where/when Swiftboating got a bad name. Instead of being used by the MSM as a term synonymous telling a lie about someone, Swiftboating ought to be used as a term that means pointing out the uncomfortable truth about a politician who the MSM wants to win. I believe there is still a million dollar award for anyone who can disprove a single thing that the Swiftboaters claimed about John Kerry. Kerry himself tried to claim the award but oddly wouldn’t release his full military service record as part of the requirement for proof.

One thing is certain anyone who tries to point out a single limiting factor about B-HO and his bitter affirmative action queen wife will be branded a racist. Oops maybe affirmative action queen is a bit over the top. How about “the well advantaged yet still bitter” wife Michelle my bell…icose.

It's a strange world

I voted in the Dem primary Tuesday here in IN. I held my nose, threw up in my mouth a bit and put an X in the box next to the Shrillda Beast’s name. Or was it Pat Buchanan? Oh the humanity! I may have disenfranchised myself!

No I didn’t. I’m a cross over voter not a real brain dead Dem. I’m sure I voted for the Beast because I followed the thick arrow next to her name and marked the corresponding box. A complex procedure for some, but I’m sure I did it correctly. My biggest concern during the whole process was that someone might see me with a “D” ballot request - which, to me, is akin to being caught with kiddie porn or worse, wearing a U of Michigan t-shirt.

As noted on this page before, I voted for the Beast because I firmly believe B-HO would be a disaster for America. So, no I don’t feel one bit guilty about the vote. I do hope that someone in the Allen County Dem party finds out I crossed over and tries to sue me. I’d love it. I’m sure Rush Limbaugh would provide a skilled legal defense team. The only thing that’s a bit concerning is being thrown into the county lock up with drug dealers, pimps, and other petty criminals and being asked the age old question, what’er ya in fur? Oh nothing really. I just cast a vote in the primary for the Shrillda Beast. That ain't exactly high up the pecking order of criminal activity that gains you respect and cigarettes among your criminal peers.

There's something surreal about this whole primary season. The Dems and their lemmings in the MSM helped to nominate probably the only Rep that stands a chance of defeating them in Nov. Thanks for saving us from ourselves. And Reps are causing the Dems to spend tens of millions of dollars to stab each other again and again with sharp objects in meaningless primary after primary when there is not a dime's worth the difference between the two candidates. How great is that?

Dems are also blaming Reps for the debacle in FL where, as they say, a Rep Gov and a Rep controlled Statehouse forced the Dems into an early primary there. What the Reps didn’t do, and Dems never mention, is to force the Dems into disenfranchising the entire state. Oh yeah, while they were in the Disenfranchising mood, Howie and the Dems also disenfranchised MI. But MI has a Dem gov and Dem controlled Statehouse – you can tell because of the “D”s after their names and the fact that MI has been in a one state recession for the last 4 years. A sure sign of Dem presence if ever there were one.

If you want your healthcare system to resemble the Dem nominating process, vote B-HO on Nov 4th.

B-HO wouldn’t talk to the FL and MI Dem delegations to his own nominating convention, but he wants to sit and chat with the world’s worst dictators.

Dems are demanding free and fair elections in Cuba, we think they ought to start with free and fair primaries in FL and MI.

B-HO wants to be president of ALL 48 states!

I’m sure once B-HO wraps up the nomination he’ll try to bring FL and MI in, but not one second before. If he brings them in before he is crowned, the Shrillda Beast is sure to play the popular vote card (of which Lex is one). That’d be bad for ol’ B-HO.

Iran Hezbollah update

Chances of Israel striking Iran went up yesterday as a result of Hezbollah causing trouble in Lebanon. Hezbollah is a proxy Shiite group for Iran. Hezbollah doesn’t break wind without Iran’s permission. Hezbollah trouble in Lebanon means that the trouble is likely to spill over into Israel. If that happens, rather than chasing ghosts in Lebanon, Israel may choose to hit the villian they can see.

I got this interesting piece from the Griffin yesterday:

If a Democrat is elected in November the Israeli’s will strike Iran nuke sites as best they can by mid-Nov. They may do it before then if the Iranians program is close to having the capabilities to make a bomb. GWB will have to support Israel. This should be a big campaign topic. Another scenario would be what Al-Qaeda did just before the Spanish election. The October surprise would Israel whacking Iran and McCain is then elected.

My prediction is that between Oct 1 and Nov 15th Israel strikes Iran. Israel does not play these BS games.

The last Israeli election was in Mar 2006. The Knesset is elected for four year terms but they have voted for early elections the last eight terms. If this trend holds true then Israeli elections are right around the corner.

If Binyamin Netanyahu becomes Prime Minister again, the Griffin’s prediction is likely to hold true. Here’s a bit of what Bibi has said about Iran:

“As best they can” are interesting and accurate words. Early reports indicated the US would require three aircraft carriers – let’s say 75 combat aircraft each – in addition to the land based aircraft already in the Middle East, three days to destroy Iran’s nuclear capability.

A quick internet search didn’t turn up any accurate numbers of Israeli strike aircraft. I suspect the number is fewer than the US has in theater. Then the big question becomes can the Israeli Air Force surge its limited resources for the extended period required to take out the Iranian threat. We’ll see.

I can see GWB assisting with the raid as a gift to whoever follows him into the Oval Office. Even though they may condemn him to the press, deep inside they’ll be saying thank God that’s off the table for now.

Just change the name and the problem will go away

This morning’s Washington Times notes that something called the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) last week released two documents urging government officials to use terms such as violent extremists, totalitarian and death cult to characterize al Qaeda and other terrorist groups. The NCTC doesn’t want government official characterizing such groups as violent MUSLIM extremists, ISLAMIC totalitarian weasels or ISLAMO-TERROR-FASCIST death cults, apparently that’s just a bit too descriptive – even if it’s true.

As the NCTC puts it, "Avoid labeling everything 'Muslim.' It reinforces the 'U.S. vs. Islam' framework that al Qaeda promotes," according to "Words that Work and Words that Don't: A Guide for Counter-Terrorism Communication," produced last month by the center. Yes by all means don’t inflame the perpetually inflamed by calling them what they are. That might cause the poor dears to do something really dire like fly planes into tall buildings – oh wait, I recall something like that already happening even before we were calling them whacko ISLAMIC-TERROR –FASCISTS.

And before that it was the USS Cole
And before that it was the Kobar Tower bombing
And before that it was the African embassy bombings
And before that it was the first attack on the World Trade Center
And before that it was a car bomb targeting Americans in Riyadh
And before that it was the bombing of Pan Am FLT 103
And before that it was a long line of bombings, hijackings, kidnappings and murders dating back to 1787.

So sure, just as not referring to the KKK as a white supremist group has shut that organization down and not calling Germans Nazis avoided a world war in the 40s and eschewing calling communists evil helped bring down the wall and end the Cold War by all means let’s not call ISLAMO-TERROR-FASCISTS what they are and the problem will just go away.

This is Orwellian government stupidity of the highest order (insert any of a billion jokes about “government” and “stupid” here). Next they’ll want us to refer to the ITF as misguided non-specific youth for peace and understanding through the early non-natural demise of innocents by means of high-energy kinetic devises.

I’m not crazy about suspending the fed gas tax and sending government rebates to the least productive among us, but I’d quadruple those programs before I’d pay one penny to the dunderheads at the NCTC.

How to win in Nov

A three pronged winner for Reps in the fall:

First, hit the Dems and Libs in the face on energy independence. Gas is likely to reach $4 a gallon sometime during the summer. The Dems want to tax the companies who find, refine and deliver the gas to Americans on every street corner into oblivion. Even the simpleton at this keyboard knows that taxing something will cause the cost of that something to rise and supply to fall.

Shrillda Beast wants to go further. She wants to establish an extra constitutional “fair profits” review board. B-HO, who calls the federal gas tax holiday “pandering” and would only result in $30 in the tax payer’s pocket, wants to pander in a bigger more expensive way offering $1,000 tax credit to the “middle class.”

Well, I for one will take the $30. That ought to be just enough to off-set the rising cost of arugula at the whole foods store.

But all of this, gas tax holidays, taxing an oil company’s “windfall profits”, government “taking profits”, and give-a-ways in tax credits to off-set gas prices, all miss the point. The point is that gas prices are high because of WORLDWIDE DEMAND.

Nothing currently being proposed is going to bring one drop of oil/energy to the table. Here’s the plan:

Short term: Drill in ANWR and off the continental shelf
Mid term: Build more refineries and nuclear power plants
Long term: Uh don’t know, the next big thing. Let’s just call it R&D for renewable (NOT food) sources

Two, stay on the offence in the war on Islamo-Terror-Fascists. If Dems want to have an argument about Gitmo and “torture” lets have it. If Dems want to close Gitmo, say fine let’s put them all in NY or IL. If Dems don’t want to make the ITF uncomfortable enough to tell us where the next bomb is going to go off, shout to the electorate that Reps would get that information and save American lives. Seems to me most Americans would want to know if they or our troops were about to get blown up.

Fold border security and fences into this argument. Frame it as a national security issue. This is an 80-20 issue in favor of securing the border. Throw in a federal English only rule, another 80-20 issue and watch the Rep numbers soar.

Last, cut taxes. I laughed out loud when B-HO said he’d raise capital gains taxes. The interviewer informed B-HO that government revenues actually go through the roof every time the capital gains taxes are CUT. B-HO got that deer in the head lights look and said it’s a matter of fairness.

This is the Lib answer to everything. If Prius drivers are being crushed under SUVs in alarming numbers, the Lib answer is for everyone to be as vulnerable as Prius drivers NOT making the Prius safer.

Well there you have a clear path to victory. Too bad the Reps have candidate that thinks a three month holiday from the federal gas tax is an energy policy and that closing Gitmo is a good idea and that it’s un-American to make the ITF uncomfortable to save American lives. But hey, he’s onboard with capital gains cuts, so I guess he’s our man.

The Dems best hope: Draft Oprah

Oprah Winfrey has all the same qualifications to be president as B-HO but, she has better judgment. If you believe what’s in NewsWEAK, and really unless it’s confirmed by Fox News, why would you, Oprah attended right Rev Wright’s Trinity United for about ten years starting in 1984. According to NewsWEAK, she quit in the mid 90’s because she thought Wright’s “sermons” were a bit over the top.

But then NewsWEAK quotes a life-long friend as saying, "Oprah is a businesswoman, first and foremost." Well here’s a flash to the dopes at NewsWEAK, quitting a church for “business” reasons ain’t exactly a profile in courage. It’s as if Oprah said to herself, “Yeah, this guy’s a bit over the top – he’s right, of course, but a bit over the top – I just don’t know how the vacuous white women who populate my audience would take it. I’d better cut it off before Rosie gets wind of Wright. That might cause idiot white women to start listening to one of their own.”

So, for whatever reason, Oprah had the good judgment to get out of Trinity United a full ten years ahead of B-HO and before it ruined her. Given that their other qualifications to be president are equal at zero, Oprah ought to get the nod for having the better judgment of the two.

Also, Oprah didn’t have to go through eight or ten iterations responding to Wright. B-HO went from a chuckle; to well this all much ado about nothing; to I wasn’t there for any of those sermons; to I didn’t hear about any of it; to I didn’t know about any of it; to yeah, well sure some of that stuff was a bit over the top but it was taken out of context; to OK it’s all in context but it’s a black thing; to OK it’s all true but I can’t disown a racist anti American, Jew and Whitey hating lunatic any more than I can disown my own racist grandmother who raised me; to can’t we all get along and move on; to WHAT! Wright is dissing ME! Well that just tears it. I can put up with anti-American rants, Jew baiting and blame Whitey for everything sermons, but when he calls ME, the great B-HO, a typical politician, well then, I must denounce him just like I denounced bitter white people who cling to religion and guns. After all (nose extended high above everyone) I am the great B-HO and I’m better than most everyone.

When this whole thing broke, Lex noted that B-HO was either a liar or a dope. Unless you’re a dope, you couldn’t have sat in that church for 20 YEARS and not known Wright was a lunatic. It only took Oprah 10 years to figure it out.

Therefore, in that the Dem party is in mess, I think Superdelegates ought to get behind a draft Oprah campaign. She has the exact same qualifications for president as the current front runner and better judgment. Save us Oprah.

Operation Chaos operatives march on!

Rush Limbaugh is running Operation Chaos (OC). The goal of OC is to create confusion among Dems and bloody both Dem candidates so as to make it easier to defeat the Dem nominee in the fall.

OC started back before the OH and TX primaries when it looked as if B-HO was going to sail to the nomination without a glove ever having been laid on him. Rush urged Reps to switch parties and vote for Mrs. Clinton. The idea then was to bloody the “messianic” B-HO up before the general. Who better to do that than the Clintons? After all, McCain had made it clear that he didn’t have the stomach for hardball politics with anyone but his “fellow” Reps.

So Mrs. Clinton took OH and TX by wider than expected margins. Then with OC in full swing and B-HO’s bitter clinger comment, she took PA in a landslide. Recently all heck has broken lose with the exposure of B-HO’s 20 year association with an anti-American, Jew hating, Whitey hating “pastor.” Now, the pastor refuses to shut up and B-HO can’t say enough to condemn him.

As a result, B-HO has plunged in the polls. Mrs. Clinton looks sure to take IN. She is closing the gap in NC. She has taken a lead nationally in some polls. Mr. Shrillary Clinton is talking about a popular vote victory before the convention – she’d need FL and MI votes for that scenario to play out. Then, as Bubba said, “what are they going to do?” Chaos will reign in Denver!

On the anniversary of President Bush’s “Mission Accomplished” speech aboard that carrier, is it too risky to say that OC has achieved its goals? Yet many in the Rep camp are going weak in the knees. What if Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination? It’ll be all Rush’s fault. They want to change horses now that B-HO is bloodied up.

Choosing the Dem nominee is not goal of OC. The goal is to create chaos among the Dems. Right now there is little or no chance of Mrs. Clinton getting the nomination legitimately. The only way she can win is if SuperDelegates steal it from B-HO. If the SuperDelagates steal it from the black guy, the black vote will dry up in Nov. As one black leader said, “if they steal it from B-HO, we’ll make in rain for McCain in Nov.”

One of these two is going to win. It might as well be the most qualified one and the one that will cause the Dems the most heartburn getting there.

Finally, look who is available: Dem Lite (McCain), Triangulating Dem (Shrillda Beast) and Lunatic Dem (B-HO). We should hope for a race between the two candidates that are least likely to run the country off a cliff.

Ethanol R.I.P. well let's hope so

Alleluia the congress has seen the light. Here is the first paragraph of a Washington Times story this morning about congress re-thinking its stand on ethanol:

Members of Congress say they overreached by pushing ethanol on consumers and will move to roll back federal supports for it — the latest sure signal that Congress' appetite for corn-based ethanol has collapsed as food and gas prices have shot up.

Maybe the potentates who take up space and oxygen in the nation’s capitol stumbled upon one of Lex’s many posts advising congress to stop burning our food supply for energy. Well over a year ago, I read a Mark Steyn piece on the bio-fuel craze. Steyn’s take away quote was along the line of, “this generation will go down in history as the dumbest of a very long line of dumb humans for burning food as fuel when there are ample supplies of other commodities perfectly suited for that purpose available.”

Well intentioned liberals thought it a good idea to use “clean burning” corn and other food as a means to off set our requirement for oil. That sounds good so far. Use clean renewable corn as fuel instead of dirty finite oil. Let’s do it.

Well, only when you get into it do you discover all of the unintended consequences. It turns out that ethanol is just another liberal feel good plan, like welfare, universal healthcare, food stamps, free condoms for teenagers, free needles for crack addicts, open borders, gun control, taxing “the rich” etc. etc that cause more problems while not doing a single thing to mitigate the problem the program was designed to fix.

Turns out it took a $1.20 of dirty fuel to produce a buck’s worth of ethanol. No problem, the government will subsidize the production of ethanol. Uh OK, but doesn’t it defeat the purpose if you have to use more dirty fuel to produce it than you get from the “clean energy alternative” you’re producing? No. Hell no. This is about the environment and ethanol is the answer.

Then they discovered that ethanol strips 10-20% off the life of an engine. No problem, cried the bio-fuel crowd. Auto makers were jubilant as well. Then food price went through the roof. Corn producers were delighted. So much so that corn was about the only crop farmers were interested in producing. But still corn was too expensive to feed to chickens or any other farm animal for that matter. So the price of cereal and nearly every other food stuff has gone up. Way up. No problem. Ethanol is the way of the future.

Then in the piece de resistance of liberal unintended consequences, they discovered that bio-fuel isn’t all that clean after all.

Meanwhile the commodity perfectly suited for the purpose has lain fallow under an arctic wasteland because liberal enviro-wackos didn’t want to give up a piece of the wasteland the size of a mall parking lot to provide reliable energy to a world starving for it.

A clean planet & B-HO's large problem

Keeping the planet clean

If environmental whackos really wanted to keep the planet clean, they’d be all for the US drilling for more oil in ANWR and anywhere else the lifeblood of our economy could be found here at home. The whackos would be all for the cleanest energy around - nuclear. They’d be all for the building of more refineries here in the US.

Why? Because, we can produce energy better and more efficiently while being more environmentally responsible than most of the places currently producing the world’s energy.

But instead of pushing for the most environmentally friendly energy possible, the whackos are content to keep us over the foreign oil barrel. But there’s a silver lining in this dark energy cloud for the whackos. Some of the money we’re spending on foreign oil is going to the terrorists trying to destroy us and our economy. Which, I think, is the whackos’ ultimate goal.

Notice when Bush offers solutions to bring more energyto the table, ANWR, building oil refineries andnuclear plants, the Dems want to further restrict thesupply by taxing and "taking profits." Neither is going to bring more enegry to the table or reduce the cost the supply already there.

The terror war and reliance onoverseas oil are a two headed monster. It feeds onthe world's petro-dollars. We should be drilling likecrazy, building more refineries and nuclear plants.

B-HO’s new big problem

I hope not to offend the entire black church – whatever that is, but I noticed that after 20 years of apparently snoozing through Rev Wright’s sermons B-HO woke up yesterday. B-HO became outraged with Wright. Not so much at what Wright was saying about America, white and Jews, after all that’s old news. What really offended B-HO were Wright’s attacks on him. So it's all OK with B-HO if Wright slams America, whites and Jews, but damn it don’t slam B-HO.

Oddly B-HO’s biggest problem today is not Rev Wright. It’s all the loons we saw dancing in the aisles hootin’ and hollerin’ at his “sermons.” There’s only one Rev Wright there are hundreds of thousands of people who are buying the hate Rev Wright is selling.

Also, all of the pundits and talking heads who acted as apologists for B-HO and his Rev were shoved under the bus right along with Wright yesterday. In the morning the “well Wright is right” and “B-HO wasn’t there, he didn’t hear it, and even if he did, so what” crowd were left jaws a gap when B-HO said the Rev Wight at the National Press Club was not the Rev Wright he’d met 20 years ago.

Well that raises all sorts of questions. There is a great word made famous by former Kansas City Chiefs coach Hank Stram. During the 1970 Super Bowl game against the Minnesota Vikings, Stram could be heard on the sidelines, “Keep matriculating the ball down the field men.” So a question for B-HO, “How did Wright matriculate from your spiritual advisor, mentor, confidant and avuncular figure you met 20 years ago to the anti-American racists loon he is today without you noticing?”

We know two things about B-HO. 1) He joined Trinity United for political purposes. 2) If he were not running for president, he'd still be sitting there listening to and exposing his family to the racist, anti-American, hate based rants spewed from that pulpit.

One vote only, please

Dems are in high dudgeon this week because the Supreme Court has decided that you ought to have proof of who are and where you live before voting. The idea that you ought to have, at a minimum, the same type of ID required to obtain a Blockbuster or Kroger card to vote is bothersome to Dems.

Sure people ought to have to have an anal exam before being allowed to check out the comic genius of Will Farrell or get .04 cents off that box Post Toasties. That’s understandable. We have to know who’s checking out Will Farrell because that tells us a lot about their mental acumen. But requiring an ID just to cast a vote to decide who will lead the most powerful country on earth, that’s a bit over the top.

How can illegals vote in states like NY, if they cannot get a driver’s license? Besides, illegals ought to be allowed to vote. We all know they are God’s children too and are in fact the backbone of the country. Also, this measure is sure to cut down on the number of transient bums and felons who will vote. Bums will be the most disenfranchised group. Bums can move from shelter to shelter and halfway house to halfway house on Election Day and vote 5-6 times. So while others may lose a single unlawful vote, bums could lose 5-6. Felons are people too. Like illegal labor, who really knows how much of our economy depends on illegal activities? And think about this. If people cannot follow the thick black arrow to their candidate’s name and punch out that and only that chad, how can you expect them to fill out a driver’s license form?

This is just outrageous. It is a frontal assault on the Dem base of illegals, felons and dopes by the Bush Supreme Court.

The funniest argument I keep hearing is that, really there isn’t “that much” voter fraud being committed. Well, one case is too much. And fraud being fraud is designed to slip under the radar so do we really know how much fraud is occurring?

The gas tax holiday

John McCain’s gas tax “holiday” is likely not to see the light of day. Unless the Shrillda Beast gets on board with it in a big way, the Dem controlled congress is not likely to pass a law with the Rep presidential candidate’s name on it that lower gas prices. Dems wouldn’t want Americans thanking John McCain for the five bucks they saved on every fill up all summer long.

Also, once that tax is gone, nobody wants to be the pol that turns around and raises gas prices 18-20 cents in one fell swoop for no other reason than Labor Day has arrived. The timing is all wrong. The price would be set to go up in Sep just weeks before a national election. That would result in Rep candidates yelling, “If Dems let the gas holiday expire they are raising your taxes!! Vote Rep for lower gas prices!” So the easy way to avoid the mess is not allow it to happen.

You can bet Dems are in all day meetings trying to figure out a way to be for the gas tax holiday while looking for political maneuvering that will never allow it to happen. About a week after Memorial Day look for land baron Scrawny Harry Reid to tell his golden horde of MSM lemmings that the Dems tried to pass the gas tax holiday but the mean Reps wouldn’t go along with the free condoms for 3rd graders program so the deal broke down.

To be honest other than helping John McCain out, I don’t believe the gas tax holiday is a good idea. It will have the opposite effect of what is intended. By driving the price of gas down, usage will rise putting an additional strain on an already tight gas commodity market. And as most of us know when supplies of something diminish prices increase.

Here’s a news flash. The requirement for oil is going to continue to increase for the foreseeable future. As the requirement for oil continues to rise, so will the price. As noble as conservation is, we cannot conserve enough to off-set the global rise in demand for oil. We need to do both, conserve and find new sources of oil and energy.

The only good that I can see that will come of the John McCain’s gas tax holiday is that as the price of gas continues to rise there will be more and more pressure on pols to ignore tree huggers and go out and drill for oil as well as build more refineries and nuclear power plants. Increasing domestic supply is the short term answer, but it is not THE answer. It provides short term relief that will provide a skilled worker job boost, help wean us from supplying some of the world’s worst tyrants with US petro-dollars and stabilize oil costs.

The problem is that if we start today, it’ll be 5 years before we begin to see any results other than on the hiring of skilled workers. That’s no reason not to start. And for the love humanity, let’s stop burning our food supply for fuel.

B-HO's big problem

B-HO’s in big trouble. The reason he’s in big trouble is that he’s spent years hanging around unsavory characters and can’t bring himself to say, “You know, I should have chosen my friends better.” Instead he thinks he can shut everyone up by calling them a racist if they mention his seedy past.

I noted several posts below that the reason that there can be no discussion on race in America is because Whitey will be accused being a racist any time he gets one inch left or right of the acceptable line. That line is that Whitey is evil and America is only where it is today because of Whitey’s exploitation of blacks.

If Whitey says, ”you know, if you don’t have an illegitimate crack baby two weeks after dropping out of the 8th grade, you have a much better chance of being successful” – well Whitey is a racist and just plain mean.

And this is B-HO’s tactic right now. Just call anyone who questions his troublesome relationships a racist and move on. Anyone who calls him a liberal is racist. Anyone who wonders how you get 800 billion in new government programs without raising taxes on the middle class is a racist. Anyone with a gun is a racist. Anyone who attends a church not spewing black liberation theology and hatred is a racist.

This NC RNC ad is but the first of what will be ads running on every station in every market every 15 min from about now until the election questioning B-HO’s judgment for hanging out with screwballs. And in spite of what John McCain says, questioning those relationships is not low ball politics. Had McCain been sitting in a white supremest church for 20 years, he’d be done. If McCain had hung out with David Duke or had a passing relationship with Tim McVeigh, the FBI would be questioning him right now.

But if it’s the black guy with all sorts of questionable relationships – shhhhhhhhhhhh. Don’t say anything. You’ll be called a racist. Well Whitey ain’t buying it. And you can take 97% of the black vote in this country and still lose in a landslide.

Howie Dean, we got a problem

B-HO and the Dems have a big problem, B-HO and his pee poor judgment. When B-HO was nothing more than an arrogant, elitist fledgling politician, he thought it’d be cool to align himself with a domestic terrorist, a lunatic hate America, hate Whitey and hate Jews reverend and a black separatist kook – you know the usual crowd at a Democrat fund raiser or cocktail party. Now that B-HO is an arrogant, elitist established politician, his Democrat base is being called into question.

So B-HO throws up the Bart Simpson defense. I didn’t do it. Nobody saw me. You can’t prove anything. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Well not so fast Bart, uh umm, Barack. See we have all of these tapes the right Rev Wright and they are not all that...oh what’s the right word... “hope”ful.

The sermons are real downers particularly if you’re white, or a Jew or an American. When you throw those tapes in with B-HO’s connection to the domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, you got a problem dude. And that’s not even counting B-HO’s own “bitter” comment or his affirmative action queen wife’s dopey comments about never being proud of a down right mean America.

So B-HO sits in the church pew for 20 years and not until a few weeks ago was aware that his pastor is a racist lunatic. That’s believable…if you believe in three headed, flying, fire breathing dragons who play bridge on Wednesdays. Totally plausible dude.

Now the NC RNC has put up an ad with B-HO and the right Rev Wright. B-HO wants John McCain to have the ad taken down. I wonder why? McCain oddly wants the ad taken down as well. Both are alluding that to run the ad is racist.

Hmmmmmmm, very curious. The NC RNC runs an ad of the right Rev Wright in his own hate filled racist words yet it’s the NC RNC answering charges of racism.

Well, here’s a news flash to B-HO and John McCain: The NC RNC ad is the first of 1,000,000 or so to come of B-HO’s pee poor judgment when it comes to the people he chooses to associate with before November’s election. And thanks to John McCain’s campaign finance reform, there’s nothing McCain or B-Ho can do about it.

Howie and the Dems "hoping" for a way out

With Rush Republicans throwing the Democrat Party into further chaos, Howie Dean and his troops are getting nervous. Exit polls in PA yesterday showed 10% of the electorate called themselves conservative. Shrillda Beast’s margin of victory? Why strangely it too was 10%.

So now Howie wants the Super Delegates – Super Delegate is Dem speak for, we don’t want bitter small town Americans who cling to religion and guns choosing our candidate – to decide quickly so Dems can end all of this pesky voting by the little people. How is it that the “party of the people” comes up with something called a Super Delegate? Each Super actually counts for in excess of 10,000 votes of gun and Bible clinging little people.

None of that sounds quite so “party of the peopleish” when it’s revealed that the Supers have the clout of 10,000 voters who had to register and stand in line. But Supers, being so super, cannot be burdened with any of that and did not receive even one vote for themselves.

Neither is what Supers are expected to do all that “party of peopleish.” Supers vote at the convention for “what’s best for the party” – not what’s best for the country – not what’s best for rank and file Democrats – not even for the best Dem candidate – but vote for the Party. You can almost hear Kate Smith breaking out into a stirring rendition of “God Bless the Democrats.”

But the Supers are only one of Howie’s problems. Remember how Dems screeched that we had to count every vote in FL during the 2000 election – well at least every vote in the four most heavily Democrat districts in FL? Well now they are fine with not counting any votes in FL or any in MI for that matter. The only question I have for Howie and the Dems and I’ve not heard it asked – ever – are the Supers from FL and MI going to be allowed to vote at the convention?

If the Supers are allowed to vote, that would give the Dems a trifecta of snobbery, arrogance and elitism. They’d have the Supers each of whom count as much as a regular Delegate at the convention but each Regular will represent over 10,000 votes. While Regulars are pledged to specific candidates based on who received the most of those 10,000 votes, the Supers are bound to nothing…well nothing but the party when determining how to vote. And the trifecta…if a state is disqualified for breaking DNC rules, the Supers - who in all probability participated in and may even have engineered the rule breaking – will still be seated and allowed to vote because…well after all they are Super.

But as far as Howie’s problems go having an elitist nominating system and disenfranchising two huge states are fairly easy problems. Easy that is when compared to the fact that the Dems have given an insurmountable lead an elitist candidate; a candidate who is comfortable hanging out with a domestic terrorist; a guy who married a pampered affirmative action queen whose thanks to the nation that got her where she is is to call us mean; a dope who sat in a pew for 20 YEARS listening to a racist, anti-Semitic, anti-white and anti American lunatic; a dolt who thinks it’s credible to say that he didn’t know what a creep Rev Wright was until two weeks ago but still refuses to disown the lout; a Bullsh*&er who showed up for hate Whitey, black separatist Louie Farrakhan’s 200,000 man march.

Now B-HO won’t stand up and answer questions about these associations. He wants to talk about “the issues.” Well I don’t think that there are any more important issues than B-HO’s associations with unrepentant terrorists and ugly hate filled Revs.

But other than that, things are proceeding just as planned for Howie and Dems.

Earth Day likely to drive down Dem turn out

Back in 1969 some doofus named John McConnell came up with the idea for Earth Day. We’ve been "celebrating" it ever since.

Like most PC specially designated days and months - like Black History Month, AIDS Awareness Day, etc, etc. – these things usually have the opposite affect of what is intended. Black History Month? What a joke. Who’d settle for a month? AIDS day? So you’re going to stop having unprotected homosexual sex and sharing needles with crack whores for a day and that’s going to be good enough to protect you the other 364?

Now, I don’t buy into all of the Co2 hocus pocus, but if I did, I guess I’d be wearing burlap and living on an organic food only commune somewhere. As a result of having to grow my own food organically, I’d weigh about 80 pounds; in part because growing food organically doesn’t produce much and because I’d give most my harvest to the commune’s bio-fuel project so it could be burned. It ain’t easy being green.

So today I suppose I have to hop in my gas guzzling SUV drive over to Lowes and pick a couple of plants for Earth Day. But won’t that trip to Lowes damage the planet? Maybe I should just stay home and not do anything for Earth Day. I know, I’ll go on line and buy some carbon off-sets from AlGore, drive over to Lowes and pick up my plants.

But hey I can figure out how to get to Lowes. What really scares me is how Dems in PA are going to get to the polls. They actually buy into this Co2 foolishness and not everyone drives a hybrid. This has got to drive down turn out. What were state Dem officials thinking scheduling an election on Earth Day when we’re all supposed to plant a tree and otherwise sit at home breathing shallowly, if at all, so as not to pump out unnecessary Co2.

Perhaps St. AlGore could do a public service message in PA allowing Dems a special dispensation to drive to the polls. Or Dems could do what they always do, tell other people how to live their lives while the Dems merrily go about ignoring the rules they have laid down for everyone else. It ain’t so hard being green when you're a hypocritical Dem (as if there were another kind) and buy carbon off-sets from yourself.

Dems a party perpetually PO'd

That breeze blowing across your front lawn this morning is the collective sigh of relief of liberals at last able to exhale after Pope Benedict FINALLY left the US. You can just hear them in their coffee - or is it latte - clutches this morning, “Huge crowds, people packed six to eight deep along his motorcade route, waiting for hours just to get a view or quick picture, true love and affection for him everywhere he goes, just who does Benedict think he is anyway, Barack Obama?”

Which bring me to the larger point. It has to suck to be a liberal. It seems you always have to be angry about something. The libs are the glass is half, nay three quarters, nay just plain empty people. The anti-war, pro- immigration Pope comes to America and small minded bigoted liberals like Bill Maher are caught on tape making fools of themselves as they lie during their red then blue and finally purple faced rants which expose them for the angry little people they are. In Bill Maher’s case, he is quite literally a short little person – rumor is he sleeps in a shoebox.

Conversely, it’s great to be conservative. Whenever something goes right like winning a battle in Iraq, or a visit from the Pope we get twofer. We get the joy of the event and the schadenfreude of watching libs be miserable as they curse the good news. When things go a bit wrong like Scooter Libby going to jail, we can still count on libs ending up in the corner crying like two year olds because they wanted Karl Rove.

So if Dems win in Nov look for them to be PO’d because they have to deal with a war, the economy and set tax policy. All of which, two days after inauguration, will be reported to be much worse than originally thought because of George Bush - Wahhhh, Wahhhhh.

No courage required at Time

I don’t want to go all Mohamed on you, but why is it the people like those at Time Magazine or John doofus Kerry's old anti-war band insist on using the nation’s most revered war memorial as a political prop?

If Marines were even 1/100,000,000,000th as hysterical about cartoons or photoshopped crap of our cherished touchstone as Muslims are of…well, nearly everything, the Time building would be a smoldering cinder this morning and its editors forced into deep hiding.

But we’re not. So the dopes at Time, who aren’t fit to carry one of those young men’s shoes, take the Pulitzer Prize winning photo of Marine heroism and morph it into something so banal and common even the weasels at Time could do it.

Environmentalism is not akin to scaling the steep slopes of Mt. Surabachi under enemy fire. It is the exact opposite. It takes no courage what-so-ever. Environmentalism is like riding an inner tube on “the lazy river” at the local water park. It is literally the easiest thing that you can do. Just go with the flow. Nobody is going to assault you for your efforts. Quite the contrary, you are likely to be hailed as some kind of hero for doing nothing more than separating your garbage.

So to use the photo of men who risked life and limb to raise that flag to support a cause that requires NO courage or sacrifice at all is just dumb. I’ve seen the Marine Corps War Memorial misused in dozens of ways. In cartoons I’ve seen the flag staff replaced with a cigarette or an assault rifle or a syringe to name a few. The U.S. flag has been replaced with everything from a bra to the MicroSoft flag.

I suppose it’s a great honor that nearly everyone can identify with and want to be a part of the Marine Corps War Memorial. Here's a tip, unless the cause or effort being promoted requires true sacrifice and courage and promotes freedom and democracy - editors, organizers and outsiders ought to leave that Memorial alone.

Pope cause mass fainting across America

Starting at about 10:30 am Eastern yesterday, America’s fainting couches were filling up and the smelling salt supply began dwindling. What caused this phenomenon? Egad man the Pope showed up at the White House.

Just the thought of this event sent the weakest among the “separation of church and state” crowd back to their beds at about 9:30. When Pope appeared at the East Lawn of the White House emerging from a government owned up-armored presidential Cadillac, others began going weak in the knees. Then Kathleen Battle sang the Lord’s Prayer and there was no stopping the rush. It’s like when someone gets sea sick. After the first person goes, others feeling even a little queasy begin to lose their lunch as well.

When the Pope took to the podium to praise America, the Rev Wright like Americans were found passed out in a state of shock. Rev Wright himself was heard to utter, “What’s this honky cracker talkin’ ‘bout? G-D America!” before reaching for the salts.

Then as the Army Choral began singing the greatest hymn ever – The Battle Hymn of the Republic – the agony of liberals pulling their hair out could be heard across the country followed by what sounded like frantic African tribesmen beating on hollow logs. That of course was actually the sound of liberals’ hollow heads as they hit the hard tile floors across America.

Needless to say, I caught the ceremony yesterday.

If protection of children is the goal, raid Trinity United

There is something weird going on with this TX polygamy sect. The “accuser” is nowhere to be found. The children have been, hmm not kidnapped, forcibly separated from their parents. The man at the center of the accusation hasn’t been to TX in 30 years.

Yet based on an uncorroborated phone call, TX officials stormed the compound and ripped over 400 children from their parents.

Dale Dribble the three pack a day conspiracy nut on King of the Hill would be going nuts. I’m not there yet. After all polygamy is against the law – unless you don’t marry the women and simply spread your seed around then let the government pay to raise your off spring. That of course is fine and people engaged in such activities are never to be condemned.

Now the liberals, if they chose to be consistent with their gay agenda, should be coming to the support of polygamy. They should be holding polygamist rights rallies. They should be constructing laws making it a hate crime to discriminate against polygamists. After all if we can have marriage between a man and a man or a woman and a woman, what could possibly be wrong with a marriage between one man and several women?

I don’t know how this whole thing is going to turn out. Maybe the authorities have headed off another Jim Jones or David Koresh. Or maybe they are harassing a group of people who are breaking the letter of a law the spirit of which is flaunted in welfare offices across America everyday.

Right now to me this thing looks like a bad cross between the Waco and Elian Gonzales raids. If the authorities are bent on raiding something to remove children from a dangerous and unhealthy environment, they should consider the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago at 11 am Sunday morning.

B-HO Shrillda care - Pope Benedict XVI

Here’s an interesting one for the”universal healthcare” crowd. While I was visiting Phoenix, I had the chance to meet my sister-in-law’s cousins who were visiting from Canada. The couple almost had to cancel their trip because of a health concern.

The woman had an on going irregularity with her heart. The”free” Canadian healthcare system couldn’t deal with a heart irregularity quickly enough for it to be resolved so that the doctor could then certify the woman fit for international travel. It seems for the woman to have health insurance while traveling outside Canada; the doctor’s certification is required.

So what to do? Simple, you sneak across the border to Detroit, have the required medical tests performed there, ship the results back to your doctor for “certification” then go on vacation. Well that’s what this couple did. It was all working perfectly until the doctor went on his own vacation before “certifying” the woman’s tests. Well a couple of frantic calls and a small bribe later, the woman’s tests were reviewed and certified and the couple left on vacation.

So what did I learn from this exchange?

Canadian healthcare isn’t free. The couple had to go to Detroit and pay out of their pocket for the required care.

Canadian healthcare isn’t efficient. If heart irregularities are placed in the same cue as hangnails and a scraped knee, you got problems.

Canadian healthcare is used to affect the behavior of its citizens. Had the required tests not been done the couple would have had to purchase private health insurance before leaving the country or stay home. The man told of several friends who had to pay for extra health coverage when leaving the country because of certain health problems. How long before the nannies running the system decide that people who smoke, drink or eat too much are placing an undue burden on the system. Therefore their behavior should change, healthcare withheld, or subsidized with an out of pocket “contribution.” Once “those people” are dealt with, the nannies will turn their attention to people who ride motorcycles, fly an airplane or own a gun.

Canadian healthcare which was devised originally, I’m sure, to help the poor is least responsive to those it was set up to help. The rich couple I met, when faced with an unresponsive system, simply dug into their own pockets, crossed the border and got their treatment. The poor have no option but to stand in the bureaucratic healthcare line receiving the same success rate of the public school system and the same compassion of those standing in the line at the DMV.

And This

Pope Benedict XVI will arrive at Andrews Air Force Base today. Even before he started packing his bags for the trip, the liberal intelligentsia were mocking the Pope for being, of all things, too Catholic. The same people who mock him offer advice on how to run and grow the Catholic Church. That advice boils down to - stop acting Catholic.

It is unlikely that Pope Benedict will follow any of their advice.

B-HO racist snob

[T]he truth is, is that, our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there's not evidence of that in their daily lives. You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Well there it is. Now we’re told such comments are elitist. They are at a minimum that. But what they really are racist stereotyping of worst kind. And after all of that what do you suppose B-HO’s campaign boils these comments down to? Small town America is bitter. So try this. Call your best buddy a stupid, fat, lazy, ugly, drunk who can’t pick up the 7-10 split in bowling. Then just before he knocks your block off say, “Well it’s true. You’ve never been able to pick up the 7-10 split.”

This is what B-HO and MSM lemmings are trying to do. B-HO paints a picture of small town America as a bunch of backward, gun toting, religious zealots who, because they are inbred racists, are bitter about free trade, minos and immigrants. Then when confronted about the litany of racist comments say, well, it’s true, Americans are bitter.

Two things about B-HO’s rant really, really, really piss me off. The rest just really, really pisses me off.

First, because we’re bitter, Whitey clings to his religion. I find it impossible to believe that there could be a more bitter, hate-filled, anti-American, anti-Jew, anti-white preacher than B-HO’s own – Rev Wright. Where the hell does B-HO get off telling us we’re bitter and clinging to religion after he spent 20 years listening what could be the most bitter preacher in America?

Next, because we’re bitter, Whitey is anti-trade. HEY B-HO, who the hell was just racing all over Ohio telling everyone what a screw job NAFTA was? YOU! Who is it blocking free trade with Colombia? YOU! You hypocritical steaming pile of excrement.

Let any white person try something like this when talking about the pent up anger of inner city blacks.

And it's not surprising then they get angry, they cling to welfare checks and the hope of reparations or listen to bigoted anti-American preachers or hold a never ending hatred of whites – the vast majority of whom never did one thing to them but pick up the welfare tab – or a hatred people who aren't like them - immigrants who have come to this country and in a much shorter time than blacks who were born here have prospered through hard work rather than government relief or an anti-trade sentiment that penalizes the worlds productive people as a way to explain away their own sloth and failure to learn the king’s English, educate themselves and stay off drugs.

Well, when called on the racist rant just say, “well, inner city blacks are angry.”

Is it time for hunger off-sets?

There are reports of food riots increasing around the world. The starving masses will be happy to know that the burning in their bellies is being mitigated by the green weenies who are burning food as an enviro friendly fuel. Let's have a conversation on race relations

It’s a long post today. I’m headed in for rotator cuff surgery today and don’t know when I’ll be able to get back to the keyboard for some one armed hunt and peck typing. Anyway, split it up over two or three days or read it all at once.

McCain gets booed at MLK talk

Shocking! They’ll stand and cheer for Rev Wright’s anti-American tirades but boo McCain for apologizing for a vote, which at the time, reflected the overwhelming view of his constituents. McCain apologized for voting against making MLK Day a national holiday. The “they” in this case is the group of perpetually offended blacks who see everything from their three out of wedlock children from three different fathers to their decision to drop out of high school so they could move up the gang hierarchy – besides education is acting white – as Whitey’s fault. Maybe the Rev Wright ought to squeeze in a sermon on forgiveness (is that still a Christian thing), if it could be worked in between anti-American, anti-Jew, anti-white hatred and bigotry.

McCain gets credit for going and apologizing. But let’s face it, McCain will get about 4% of the black vote. Sadly, there is nothing that he can say or do that will change the minds or votes of the other 96%.

Here’s a sad one

Last year Allen County Sheriff Ken Fries wanted to form an anti-gang task force. He wanted to form the task force in cooperation with Ft. Wayne’s police force. Sheriff Fries’ initiative made sense. Ft. Wayne is Allen County’s largest city and the hot bed of gang activity within the county.

Well the blacks of perpetual victimhood had a fit. Certainly Whitey Fries just wanted an excuse to come into black neighborhoods and arrest young black men. There could be no other explanation for Fries’ gang task force. They called Fries a Nazi and intimidated the Ft. Wayne police chief into rejecting Sheriff Fries’ plan.

Last week there were seven gang related killings in the Ft. Wayne in a 40 hour period. It was so bad in Ft. Wayne for a short while that Harry Reid and the Democrats declared Ft. Wayne lost and called for a complete withdrawal of Americans from the city. So the same blacks of perpetual victimhood who opposed Sheriff Fries’ gang task force last year rallied last week to voice their complaints. And what were they complaining about? The lack of police protection.

You cannot make this stuff up.

Racism is a black thing other minos won’t understand

So what do the two stories above tell us? We have a race problem in America. Duh. But I don’t think it’s a race problem. I think it’s a black/white problem. See other minorities have come to this country and done well. Who is the Asian Al Sharpton? Who is the Latino Jesse Jackson? How come the Hindu Indian Rev Wright hasn’t shouted G-D America and organized our taxi drivers and convenience store owner operators?

Let’s stipulate that for the most part Whitey is a money grubbing racist a-hole. If that is true, then he’s a racist a-hole to everyone. You cannot make the case that he’s a racist a-hole to blacks but loves Asians, Latinos and Indians. If he’s a racist, he’s a racist to everyone.

But our race problems only seem to involve black and white. Al Sharpton was no where to be found demonstrating in the Korean neighborhoods shouting “no justice no peace” through his now legendary bullhorn after Korean store owners shot an untold number of black looters during the Rodney King riots in LA. Today the Dem primary shows a big split between Latinos and blacks but nobody is calling either side racist. But the race hustlers will call Whitey a racist if he doesn’t support B-HO.

And how do you explain away Whitey’s money grubbing economic “disenfranchisement?” Aren’t the two mutually exclusive? If I’m a money grubber, I’m going to hire the best person I can get or afford to get the job done. If I’m a racist I’m going to end up hiring white trash Whitey and be beaten like a drum by everyone who hires bester people and soon be I’ll out of business.

No discussion

As loudly and persistently as people of all hue call for a discussion between black and white about race, that discussion is no where near happening. How do I know? Well, blacks can’t even talk to blacks about race yet. Every time somebody like Shelby Steele, Bill Cosby, Juan Williams or Thomas Sowell try to talk about black responsibility rather than black victimhood, they are shouted down with taunts of “Uncle Tom” and “Oreo.”

So if blacks are incapable of having a discussion about race among themselves without one side quickly spiraling into vicious name calling, what chance does Whitey have to join the discussion?

The sad fact is that there is a race hustling industry in this country that has no desire to see any resolution or even an easing of racial tension. Revs Jackson, Sharpton, Wright et. al might have to start looking for legitimate congregations and serious but less profitable pastoral work if Whitey and blacks join hand in hand and start singing Kumbyya.

Canyon, wars & B-HO

The Canyon

We walked much of the south rim of the Grand Canyon over a two day visit. To anyone with an inquiring mind, the thought of a river creating the canyon is laughable. So scientists have come up with a new theory called up-lift. Yes, while the river was down cutting the “experts” tell us earth itself was up-lifting.

When the Park Ranger finished her talk we walked away politely. It was only on the way home I asked the three kids in the group if they believed the ranger. They all said they did. Then I asked, given all of the rivers in the world, many more powerful than the Colorado, why is there only one Grand Canyon? No good answer.

Of course the Park Ranger would have been fired had she said, “You know, we have no clue how this thing got here. All of our scientific theories are inadequate to explain this phenomenon. Perhaps the hand of God played a role. That’d explain it.”

The long war

I did some light reading on the trip. Anyone who doesn’t think we (we as in the West) have been at war with militant Islam since about the 6th century ought to pick up William Weir’s “50 battles that changed the world.”

About half are of battles in Weir’s book involve Christian/Muslim conflict. We are probably engaged in a battle today that historians will reflect upon as one that changed the world. What’s at stake? A moderation, modernization and democratization of the Middle East or the beginning of a new-world wide caliphate.

Indiana Primary

The Democrats are going to try to dissuade Republicans from voting in the Dem primary here in IN. I plan to vote for the Shrillda Beast in the May 6th IN Dem Primary. I will have a camera ready if any of the Dems try to “dissuade” me.

I’ve noted on this page before that throwing the Dem party into chaos is just an added benefit of my vote for the Beast.

The real purpose of my vote will be to scuttle B-HO’s bid for the presidency. Anyone who sits and listens to hate filled, bigoted, anti-American preacher for 20 years, then claims he didn’t know anything about the preacher’s G-D America attitude is a liar or a dope. Same with B-HO’s mischaracterization of John McCain’s 100 years in Iraq remark. B-HO is a liar or a dope when he says John McCain supports a 100 year war in Iraq.

Do we see a pattern emerging? So which is it B-HO, liar or dope?

Dropping the bomb

Ahhh, AZ was great. The weather was great and will be for another two weeks then it’ll 120 degrees at ten in the morning. But of course, it’s a dry heat. No, it’s a hot heat.

Anyway after being gone for week with no newspapers radio or tv, I get back and everything is the same.

All of the pundits agree the Shrillda Beast can’t win, but she labors on. Why? Dick Morris says it’s because her campaign is nearly 13 million in the hole. So she needs to stay in because she’s broke. OK Dick knows a great deal more about these things than Lex. But in my simple mind, if she’s down 13 million today and continues to campaign she’ll be down 14 million tomorrow. How does that old saying go, when you find yourself in a hole, first stop digging. So, in Shrillda’s case wouldn’t it make sense to say, when you find yourself down 13 million stop campaigning?

Others say that the “super delegates” will save Shrillda. Hard to believe that the Dems will cheat the smart handsome black guy for fat obnoxious chick. If they are that dumb, every statewide/national election for the next 20 years will be a big problem for the Dems. Blacks vote as about a 96% block for Dems.

So why is the Beast still in it? First off, I think she has sense of entitlement. Next, I can’t help but think that the Beast and her alley cat husband know something is going to drop out of the sky on B-Ho’s head. And of course that something can’t be good.

So why hasn’t it dropped out of the sky yet? Don’t know. Wed before “Super Tuesday” would have been a good time. But maybe Shrillda was thinking she’d need B-HO as Veep. So, she didn’t want to lay waste to him at that point. Now, she has no choice.

In Tuesday’s Washington Times Wes Pruden may have identified the bomb that will fall on B-HO when he wrote this:

"As the high-water mark for Barack Obama recedes," says Charles Lipson, a professor of political science at the University of Chicago, "his campaign must now confront several dangerous stumps that were once hidden below the surface [of the water]." Writing on RealClear Politics.com, he identifies one "stump" from the radical-left past that Mr. Obama has diligently hidden. He served on the board of the Woods Fund, a small radical foundation, with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn late of the Weather Underground, the radical cell that killed cops and tried to plant a bomb in the U.S. Capitol. They're married to each other now and after a decade on the run turned themselves in and served prison time. They're unrepentant. In an interview with the New York Times, Prof. Ayers boasted that he had no regrets about setting bombs to kill innocents: "I feel we didn't do enough."

When the senator and the unrepentant bomber served together on the Woods Fund board, the Fund awarded $6,000 to Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church “in recognition of Barack Obama's contributions of Woods Fund as a director." Later the Obama-Ayers board awarded a generous grant to the Arab-American Action Network. It's entirely possible that Barack Obama missed the board meetings when uch awards were made. He says he missed Jeremiah Wright's incendiary sermons, oo. The man has a gift for avoiding the wrong place at the right time.”
