Biden and Starbucks

Joe Biden proves why he is a dolt - again
Not surprisingly, crazy and ever so slow Uncle Joe Biden has – again - gotten it totally backwards.  Dimwitted slowest of all Joes – Biden – recently proclaimed that Republicans don’t want black folks voting.

That’s weird because I could have sworn that it has been the Demo-Dopes telling us that black folks are too dumb or too lazy to get a free government ID.  I could have sworn it has been the Demo-Dopes for my entire adult life telling me that black folks are too dumb or too lazy to make it in America without affirmative action.  I could have sworn it has been the Demo-Dopes telling me forever that black folks are too dumb or too lazy to feed themselves, house themselves, get into college or even get a cell phone without government assistance.

Then when any black has the good sense to tell the Demo-Dopes to f*ck off, who labels them an Uncle Tom?  The Demo-Dopes.  The Dopes are the only ones trying to stop blacks from voting, but only the black who reject life on the Dope plantation.

Left on left crime – Starbucks Vs. the woke
Starbucks apparently called the cops on a couple of loiterers who refused to buy anything while taking up space and demanding to use the store’s facilities.  As guy who absolutely refuses to stop to use a business’s facilities without making a considerable purchase, I say, good for Starbucks.  When young Lex asked we had to buy something for using the bathroom, I told him, “The man cannot make a living running a public bathroom.”

It reminds of being run off with a few other kids from in front of the small town pharmacy.  And if you think they ran us off from in front of the store fast, you should have seen how quickly we got bounced if we actually went into the store for more than a minute without buying something.

The really weird thing is that we never thought it was racist of store owners to move us along.  Had they allowed us to stay, we’d probably have thought that a place that doesn’t run us off is probably a place too crummy for us to hang around anyway.

There was the laundromat.  It was run by a nice enough guy.  Instead of running us off, he’d come out from the back and say, “Hello fellas.  You wanna see a mechanism?”  Then he’d proceed to bore us to death with explanations of how a certain coin collector, washing machine transmission or dryer motor worked. It was brilliant.  He ran us off by offering to teach us something, and we didn’t even know we were being run off.

That’s what the Starbucks manager should have done.  “Hey fella’s since you’re not doing anything, wanna make a couple of bucks cleaning the bathrooms?”  My guess is that even thought of honest work might have been enough to cause the two to move on.

Instead the cops were called, and as always the ubiquitous cell phone video crops up and all of the hysteria ensues.  I don’t get it.  I’ve been run out of crummier places than a Starbucks without a word.  Had I made a public fuss, my dad would have beat my azz when he got home.  Now people actually go out look for these types of confrontations and get rich behind them.

Except for the fact that it’s Starbucks, it’s total BS.  If you are going to walk into a business find what you’re looking for, buy it and get out making room for the next customer. I’ve always thought that that was the unwritten agreement between business owners, customers and potential customers.

Now because one of its managers made a sound business decision, Starbucks is trouble.  Everything would be fine if the two bums who got kicked out had been white. But the manager should have known that all of this “equal rights” BS people of color keep demanding only goes so far.  They are not so interested in “equal rights” when the cops show up, or the college entrance exams are scored.  In certain cases equal is not enough.  They demand to be more than equal.

If it were any company other than Starbucks I might even consider stopping in for a Cup ‘O Joe this morning.  Starbucks in fight with Black Thugs Matter is just too good.  It’s like watching the viral video of the two alligators mauling each other on the golf course.  It’s like the Nazis and Communists killing each other in WWII.  You just want to get a cup of Joe from Tim Horton’s, sit back and enjoy – forever.

Now Starbucks is closing for a day to conduct “racial bias” training.  YGBSM.  It’s called the “golden rule” nit wits.  It does not take a day.  The training will consist of convincing everyone that they are a racist whether they know it or not.  Worse, if you think you’re NOT a racist, you are probably a bigger racist than the guy who just admits it.

I absolutely hated this sh*t in the Marine Corps.  Everyone is a racist, sexist azzbag.  So you have to sit and listen to bunch whining scum who couldn’t pour pee out of boot if the direction were written on the heel tell you what a f-up you are.

If the MC sexual harassment training is any indications, Starbucks will be the home of some of the funniest skits, jokes and lampooning of “racial bias” training ever.  It was always fun to go to the O-Club after such “awareness training” to listen to Frank lampoon the instructor. “Did you see that hog?  She couldn’t blouse her boots with a web belt.  She looked like a blister bag with feet.  The physical fitness test that bitch’s unit is to see if you can run three laps around her fat azz before dark.”  And oh my, if there was any hint of a speech impediment, it could go on for hours.

Idunno, I’m just an evil alt-right white supremacist male dumbazz, but isn’t the name “racial bias training” itself racially bias?  What race are we talking about?  If it isn’t all races then isn’t it bias?

It’ll be interesting to see if the ever virtue signaling Starbucks’ falling all over themselves for bouncing a couple of bums who happened to be black from one of their stores will have any effect on their fellow leftists travelers.

Apologies never work with that crowd.  You’re better off releasing a statement, “Damn right we kicked those bums out.  They were distracting our baristas from completing your very clear order of a Maxi Venti Grande Goss Choco Moto double cream whipped carrot with a shot of vinegar triple soy 3 Splendas no water double liner no cup expresso latte.”  If they did that they could at least hold on to the pretentious D-bags who order that sh*t.

At a minimum, I think the SJWs need to boot Starbucks from every college campus and town in America.

Why is the Left so full of BS?

One of the Lefty Libs’ favorite tricks is portray conservatives as anti-science primarily because many happen to profess a faith in something that they cannot see or touch.  My contention is that it’s far easier to profess a faith in God than it is to have faith in Leftists policies ever working out the way the way Leftists say they will.

But it turns out that it’s actually Lefty who are anti-science and not just in the field of political science.

Take abortion.  Who is on the side of science in that argument?  A 3D ultrasound (science) can produce an image of what is undeniably a baby.  When confronted with the image, who denies that what they are looking at is a baby?  Leftist.  The Leftists refrain for this dilemma is: Who you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?

ASIDE:  Every prolife demonstration should consist largely of ultrasound photos.  Get rid of the crosses or at a minimum add to them.  It’s humanity not Christianity at stake here.  A picture in this case says 10,000 words.

Take the second amendment.  Who is on the side of science in that argument?  Mathematics (science) can produce irrefutable evidence that as gun sales increase, violent crime decreases.  Who ignores the science and still wants to grab guns thereby making the streets less safe? Leftists.

Take global warming, cooling, change, disruption.  Who is on the side of science in that argument?  There is exactly zero scientific evidence that the Earth’s temperature have increased (or decreased for that matter) outside statistical norms over the last 40 years.  By many calculations the Earth is currently undergoing a cooling period.  Wait wat?  That’s right, but who ignores the science, manipulates the data and just plain makes sh*t up with regard to the planet warming?  Leftist. Who ignores the actually actual science of what is happening with regard to climate and instead insist “models” that have been manipulated to conform with leftists projections of impending global disaster be the only gage of man’s effect on the planet?  Leftists.

Here is a brilliant piece of science that supposedly makes man’s puny impact on the planet easily understood.  I did get the point – it’ll take a long time and a lot of man- made energy to melt the polar icecap sufficiently to cause the kind of sea rise Leftist models predict – but still my eyes glassed over at the math (science) that proves that point.

Read the whole thing.  If you’re like Lex, read it 3-4 times and still leave shaking your head.  Apparently there is science out there that indicates it would take all of the energy produced by man on Earth 103,413 years to melt the ice in Antarctica. Fortunately not all of that heat - or even most of it - is ever going reach Antarctica.  It dissipates in the air stream is captured in our homes etc. Even if we all got together and decided that it was in our interest to melt the polar icecaps we could not do it.

But not to worry.  The icecaps get melted in 20 years in Leftists’ scientific models that ignore reality.

JG Rant
No rant today.  Mrs. Lex says I’m doing twice the work and not getting a dime extra for the effort.  So subscription rates are doubling as of today.

No rant today because nothing in that rag interested me.

So why does Lex tilt at the JG windmill on a near daily basis?  Well like this page, I figure at least one person at the JG is reading the letter.  If they read 4-5 a week over a year maybe - like melting a glacier - a one mind begins to slowly change.

It also demonstrates the lengths to which Lefty Libs will go to protect their BS ideas.  I used to be fairly successful in getting letters published in the JG.  That fact drove one Thom Bauer nuts.  Last year he wrote a letter demanding that JG ban me from the letter section. Since the Parkland incident the JG has apparently taken Mr. Bauer’s advice.

The overlords at the JG have squashed Lex.  Why continue on?  Well to quote a great American, “Did we quit when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?”

I’ve always looked at this hobby as a mental exercise.  My dad used to work the daily crossword puzzle pretty much to the day he died as a mental exercise.  I gave it a try.  I found that I’m not very good it, but I can spew 300-1,000 words of BS in pretty short order.  So BS it is.  That way I avoid the embarrassment of MS. Lex finding the daily crossword on the kitchen table with about 10 clues filled in - that's on a good day - with half of those being misspelled so they fit.

To avoid the daily crossword I will continue to inflict myself on those who stumble across this page and the poor staffer at the JG who runs across my letters.  Also the Shawshank Redemption comes to mind.  How many letters did Andy send to the state before he got his library books?

Comey BOMBSHELL PDJT's HAIR APPEARS TO BE REAL!!!

If Lex were ever to write a book the working title I have in mind is, “Lex E. Libertas and his 100 Greatest F*ck ups.”  I know what you're thinking, "why limit it to 100."  Now you're wondering, “Why in the world would you ever consider a book like that.”  Well, like about 55% of humans my f*ck ups are far more spectacular, numerous and interesting than any of my meager accomplishments.

Does the captain of the Exxon Valdez write about the time he helped a little old lady cross the street or the time he was drunk and passed out in his cabin when the super tanker he was responsible for ran aground dumping 11 million gallons of crude oil into one of America’s most pristine and picturesque waterways?

Jimmy the shape shifter Comey should have used Lex’s model.  Comey is supreme f*ck up. Literally everyone wanted the shape shifter fired at some point during time as FBI director while he was screwing up one investigation after another.

He wrote drafts of his exoneration letter for Shrillda the Hutt months before the old hag testified.  He laid out an air tight case for prosecuting the old witch then made up law that she couldn’t be prosecuted because she had not intended to violate the law - which she clearly did when she had her server wiped clean with bleach bit and her phones destroyed.  If those things do not intent to cover up crime every mob boss ever convicted should be set free and their record wiped clean.

He has admitted the second investigation of the Hutt after Carlos Danger was found to be in possession of Hutt e-mails was nothing more than a proforma look to inoculate “President the Hutt” after she won the presidency. Comey actually admits this.  He consulted the polls.  The shifter saw that the Hutt was likely to win and decided that he needed to clear her before the election so as not taint her win or the early months of her presidency.

The Shifter said, "I don’t remember spelling it out, but it had to have been, that she’s going to be elected president and if I hide this from the American people, she’ll be illegitimate the moment she’s elected, the moment this comes out.”

Instead of coming clean, Comey is trying to use his book to rehabilitate himself – at least in the eyes of the Dopes.  If his interviews and blurbs from his book are any indication, Comey has decided to throw in 100% with Dopes. That’s not exactly the equivalent of a run saving throw from right field a la Roberto Clemente since Comey has always been in the Dope camp from the beginning.  It’s more like the underhanded lob of a nerf ball to a toddler.

Then there’s this.  Comey is a criminal for lying to congress, for leaking information to buddy to trigger the special council, for writing a book about on-going FBI investigations.  For some reason none of it matters to the DOJ, FBI or MSM.  I cannot imagine why?

So far the biggest news from previews of Comey's book is that he thinks PDJT's hair is real.  Well that's something.  What a self-serving Dope.

Syria
The biggest loser in the Syrian strike was not Syria.  It was the Russians who said they’d protect Syria.  They claimed that they’d shoot down the missiles, sink US ships and shoot down US aircraft.  None of it happened.  Instead, after PDJT’s tweet, Russia withdrew its fleet and personnel from the line of fire and waited out the attack.

My guess is that right now there are more than few Syrian and Iranian officials saying to their Russian counterparts WTF?  The Russians only answer will be, “Look we’re a third rate military power trying to bluff everyone into thinking we’re a first rate power.  It didn’t work this time.  Be patient.  When the stupid Americans impeach PDJT, these bluffs will work again.”

Sunday’s JG rant
Re: Gaylen E. Twigg’s letter, “Founders didn’t sanction mass murder” of Apr 15, 2018

I often wonder if the JG editorial staff and letter writers like Gaylen E. Twigg are as obtuse as the letters editors chose for this page make them appear to be or if they are just engaged in an endless stream of hyperbole and propaganda.

Is anyone so simple-minded as to believe, as Twigg declares, that there is but one purpose for handguns and semiautomatic rifles: to kill human beings?  There are many reasons to own handguns and semiautomatic rifles among them self-defense, home-defense, hunting, sport shooting, competition shooting and collecting.

To accept Twigg’s propaganda of a single purpose for these devices is to believe that every one of America’s 100 million gun owners who owns a handgun or semiautomatic rifle has homicide or murder in their hearts.

Next, America doesn’t have a problem with gun violence.  As Twigg notes, American cities - run by Democrats for decades with restrictive gun laws in most cases - have a problem with gun violence.  Actually “flooding the streets with easily available firearms” is working.  It is an undeniable fact that as gun sales have soared in America violent crime has plummeted.

No one knew better than the founders that they were not deities.  They foresaw the problems with slavery and changing times.  That’s why they allowed for their flawed document to be updated through amendment.  Throwing the Second Amendment in with slavery and the Electoral College is a nice bit propaganda, but it really demonstrates Twigg’s own ignorance more than that of the founders.

Twigg might consider reading Mark Grimsely’s book The Hard Hand of War and Ron Chernow’s book on U.S. Grant or Gant’s own memoir for an understanding of the extent that America went to expunge itself of its original sin of slavery.  Then pick up a copy of the Federalist Papers to understand the purpose of the Electoral College and the Second Amendment.

Guns do take a lot of lives in America - more than 38,000 in 2016.  Sadly, the overwhelming number of those deaths – 74% - were due to suicide. Ironically, the smallest percentage comes from the very kind of guns Twigg and other demagogues most want to ban – the dreaded but still undefined “assault weapon.”

I think every Democrat candidate ought to have to provide voters with language of what they think a 21st century Second Amendment ought to look like.  Let’s have a Second Amendment referendum in November.

Founders didn't sanction mass murder
Our central cities have turned into virtual war zones with the flood of pistols and semiautomatic weapons onto our streets. These devices are made for one purpose: to kill human beings. We need to talk about the Second Amendment.
Our Founding Fathers were not deities. They made several glaring mistakes when they authored the Constitution. Among those were slavery, the enfranchising of only white, male land owners, and the Electoral College to prevent the democratic election of the president. Some of these errors have been fixed; most have not.
Flooding the streets with easily available firearms is not working. It's made the country a more dangerous place. Perhaps all that is necessary is to modify the Second Amendment to allow the outlawing of automatic and semiautomatic weapons, and to severely limit the availability of handguns. We need to have that national discussion. The time to be held hostage by firearm violence should have been over a long time ago.
This is not about freedom. It's strictly about the ability of Colt, Remington and other megabusinesses to peddle extremely dangerous products unrestricted on the streets of America to whoever has a buck. The result is more than 30,000 needless deaths year after year.
Our politicians and judges routinely ignore the Constitution and Bill Of Rights when it suits their purposes. Why the reverence to just one amendment? Money, lots of money! Our governments are bought and paid for. Our power-brokers will not even entertain a discussion about the main impediment to effective gun control. Thirty thousand must die every year because of a 230-year-old anachronism? Times have changed.
The ability and right to commit mass murder should not be chiseled in stone in our constitution.

Saturday’s JG rant
Re: Richard D. Whissen’s letter, “Sweet DC condo deal” of Apr 14, 2018

I have several questions for renowned Fort Wayne tax consultant Richard D. Whissen.  During a recent visit to Wellington, FL my wife and I stayed in the luxury condominium of a friend’s friend.  There was no charge.  Do I have to claim the gracious hospitality of my friend’s friend as ordinary income? Or, is this just something that friends occasionally do for each other?

Also, when the Clinton’s and Obama’s regularly used Democrat donors’ accommodations on Martha’s Vineyard, during their annual vacations, were they in violation of the tax code?  And, how should Bill Clinton claim his frequent trips on sex predator Jeffrey Epstein’s 727 “The Lolita Express” to the pedophilia paradise of Lolita Island - as gifts or income?  So Bill can be sure to not underreport the gift/income, what was the going rate for travel, a child sex partner and accommodations on Lolita before it burned with the evidence?  And, how did the Obama’s cover the under market value purchase of their Chicago home?

Now, should (trigger warning) President Donald J. Trump let your angry rantings slide?  Or, should he take a page from the Obama playbook and weaponize the IRS against his political enemies to have your tax returns audited for as far back as possible and every year going forward?

Last, goodness gracious man, how vindictive are you?  You’re wishing an IRS audit on a guy who you don’t know, over an issue that in all likelihood you don’t understand to get even with another guy who beat your crooked candidate nearly 18 months ago.  Yeah sure, that’s a true sign of mental and emotional stability.

Suggestion: Turn off MSNBC and get a life.

Sweet DC condo deal
I hope the IRS will be looking at EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt's rental deal whereby he pays $50 a day for rental of a luxury condominium. My experience with Washington, D.C., is that the fair market rental for a spacious luxury unit can be $9,000 or more per month. That equates to at least $300 daily. Pruitt should be reporting the $250 daily difference as additional annual ordinary taxable income equal to about $91,500 or more. I hope the IRS has flagged Mr. Pruitt's return for audit.

Zuckerberg wow's by claiming not to know much or lying about facebook's practice of squashing conservative speech

No - I have no idea what to make of Zuckerberg’s appearance before congress except that old people are probably not the right guys to have asking the questions.  The best meme I’ve seen so far of the made for TV event had Chuck Grassly saying, “I just got this 5” floppy disc in the mail from a company called America on Line offering me 50 hours of free internet access.  Is that facebook?”

As Greg Gutfeld so accurately put it, the Zuckerberg hearing was the clearest proof yet that there need to be term limits so you do not have have a bunch people who came to congress before the telegraph asking a tech hipster about conservative voices being blocked on his interweb platform.

Ignorance was only part of the problem though.  Another part of Zuckerberg problem hydra is that he throws so much cash around to the stooges on Capitol Hill the hearing was like having a bunch of 5 year olds question Santa Clause about elf labor two days before Christmas.  Sure the 5 year olds might be all for shutting down Santa’s forced elf labor scam but not until after they’ve already opened all of their presents.

There is little doubt that Zuck and Facebook are targeting conservatives for their demonetizing, speech chilling BS.  Lefty's b*tch,  "Well Lex come on, it’s free enterprise. Mr. Z can do whatever he wants."  No he cannot claim to be a company open to the public and then start to say, “Yeah sure we’re open to the public, but not that kind of public.”  You can’t open a bakery and refuse to allow homosexuals to come in to buy your cupcakes.

So Libs complain, "AAAHAA you’re siding with the homosexuals against the bakery then."  No.  The homosexuals didn’t come in and ask to buy a cake off the shelf for their wedding.  The homosexuals demanded the baker bake them a special cake for their wedding.  He refused.  Just as I suppose he might refuse to bake a “God is Dead” cake for atheists.

Zuck is essentially saying to the homosexuals, “You cannot use my platform like everyone else does because I don’t like your politics.”  In other words if Zuck was running the bakery, the homosexuals wouldn’t be allowed through the door.

In that sense I think Mr. Z lied his way through his unsworn testimony with a ton of Clintonesque, “I’ll have to have my staff get back to you on that one,” about why certain people – miraculously always of a conservative bent - are blocked and/or demonetized on facebook to just plain lying his scrawny azz off that he doesn’t believe conservative are “targeted” on facebook.

But give Mr. Z his due.  He’s perhaps the richest, most obsequious liar ever to testify.  He was exceeding polit and deferential to morons asking the question and they lapped it up.

The really scary thing about Mr. Z’s testimony to me was promise to develop artificial intelligence to weed out “haet speech.”  I wonder who will be responsible for writing that code?  The exact same people who make up Facebook’s current team that decides which sites get blocked and demonetized.

But once Mr. Z can blame the procedure on the AI bots, like Pontius Pilot, he will claim that his hands are clean and that there is really nothing he can do if a supposedly non-judgmental robot decides that The People’s Cube and Diamond and Silk are hate groups and the NRA is indeed a terrorist organization.

That was the worst thing Z said in his testimony, the bots will be in charge.  The humans just have to go along with what they decide as if God or the Holy Spirit are going to be writing the code for the bots.

In Syria maybe less could be more

Syria
I have no problem bombing the sh*t out Bashar Assad and Russians in Syria on general principle.  Doing so is likely to have all sorts of unintended consequences.  Do we really know who did the gas attack?  We do know US backed “rebels” are throwing ever dead child’s body into streets to whip up emotion.

I’m not so sure bombing is the right answer. Maybe less is more.  Snatching or assassinating some of the leadership in the Syrian army’s chemical corps would perhaps send a stronger message.  Snatching a couple of these turds up shipping them to G’itmo and denying everything or blowing one of the general’s brains out somewhere very publicly from a mile away might be a better deterrent.  Something unconventional.

If bombs are the only answer, I’d consider three days of intense targeting of Damascus infrastructure first.  (AHHH the air defense has to go first!!  Use missiles.)  Go big or don't go.  Bring the war to Assad’s front doorstep.  Inconvenience the people who will then rise up and get rid of the azzbag on their own.

Prediction:  None of whatever is done will have the slightest effect on the MSM narrative that PDJT colluded with Putin to deny Shrillda the Hutt her rightful seat in the Oval Office.

Why not just f*ck with the media?
PDJT cannot fire Mueller, Rosenstein or Sessions.  Well he can, but the blowback wouldn’t be worth the trouble.  Better to play them all like Stradivariuses.  He can’t fire them, but he can talk about firing them, which is always hilarious.  Every single day PDJT should make some veiled threat to fire one of them to see how many days in a row the MSM will take the bait and wail like the news man at the crash of the Hindenburg – “Oh, the humanity.”  After about the third year of PDJT’s second term the MSM would finally catch on.  Joe Scarborough would write another of his tuneless, pointless, moody, unrecognizable string banging records about it and sing it on Morning Joe.

Trump’s evil ways – by Joe Scarborough
Firing Mueller is nothing but an evil Trump game
Every damn day it’s always the same

For four years now we’ve reacted with - Oh, the humanity
Causing Donald J. Trump much hilarity

For sixteen hundred thirty five days we’ve said the same
Mueller is gone, Oh what a shame

Threats of Mueller’s firing works us into a lather
But now I know - it’s all Trump blather

But the shame and egged faces are on every one of us
Trump has played us like a Stradivarius

Copy write is pending - so don’t even think abut it.

The New Republic channels Lex
It turns out that the folks over at the New Republic - of all places – read Lex.  In the post under Lex noted that Mueller ought to be required to report to someone what he has, where he’s going and how long it’s going to take.

Turns out the leftist at the New Republic regard that as the nuclear option if PDJT fires Mueller.  This is true Lefty Lib thinking on the Special Council.  Just keep it going until PDJT fires Mueller – then all hell breaks loose with Mueller dumping his findings on the NY Times.  Actually the NR suggests the Senate committee which they regard as bi-partisan – which is Lefty Lib speak for run by a Rat establishment Republican coward.

Why not just play show and tell right now? My guess is that they don’t want any kind of interim report released because they’ve got nada, less than nothing, zero, the big squadoosh, nil, zip, zilch - add it all up and Mueller’s gotten himself, the FBI and the DOJ into more trouble with his team’s BS methods than PDJT.

We’ll eventually find out what the hell’s going on. It may take until 2067, but we will get to the bottom of this.

Today’s JG rant
Re: JG editorial “Equal Pay Day especially relevant to Hoosiers” of Apr 10, 2018

First off, I’m appalled that a paper as progressive as the JG would take such a totally cis gendered approach to equal pay as the subject editorial.  There was not a single mention as to the pay discrepancies between men who identify as women and women who identify as men.  Seems to me that a study that found that a woman who transitioned to a man and got a pay raise for the trouble would be proof positive of a pay bias toward men.

The editorial is total garbage.  The plain truth about pay equality between men and women will never find its way on to the pages of the JG, because Lefty Liberals do not deal in facts.  They deal in emotion.  Women make less than – sniff – men.  That’s not fair.

I do not dispute that there is a pay gap between men and women.  But there are perfectly reasonable explanations for the gap.

The number one determining factor for income is IQ as determined by a (NOOOO, say it ain’t so) standardized IQ test. It makes no difference if the smart person is male or female – or even how they identify – the only thing that matters is cognitive ability.

Now the Lefty Lib might argue, “Well women outnumber men in college so they should be the ones making more.”  Sadly, the determining factor is IQ not a degree. A degree by itself does not impart knowledge or cognitive abilities - particularly at today's universities.

Next, while women comprise a larger percentage of students on American campus what they chose to study is, how to put this, not quite as demanding as what the men are studying. There are more women than men on campus, but men make up the largest percentage of students studying – science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Women make the majority of students studying “studies.”

Next, there is no such thing as an “equal” job even if the job description is exactly the same.  Here’s some more stubborn facts, men will work longer by putting in more hours per day, per week and stick with a job over a longer number of years than women.  No two people are equal so no two jobs are equal.

Next, women can blame God or whatever source they think is responsible for organizing the universe, but men on average are bigger and stronger than the average woman.  It is just so and it has not one thing to do with how a woman is raised.  It has everything to with biology and physical characteristics of men and women. I guess that’s why there are so damn few women in the NFL, HNL, NBA and MLB.

Next, men are more willing to engage in dangerous high paid work than women.  Women in the military are demanding access to combat to level that field.  Good for them.  There’s only a couple of problems with that.  See the paragraph above.  Only an idiot can believe that the military services have not substantially reduced the physical requirements for qualification for such duty or given the women a total pass. Those are the only two options, because men and women are different and no amount of wishing is going to change that biological fact.  Then there’s the simple societal/combat efficiency objection that goes, “Any civilization that sends its mothers and daughters to war is serious about neither civilization nor war.”

Last, there’s always the Willy Sutton solution. If you don’t like what your job pays, get qualified for a job where the money is.

Once these truths are accounted for, there is no measurable difference in men’s and women’s pay. For the most part the pay gap only becomes apparent after women chose to balance work with raising a family at about the 30 years of age mark.

So just stop whining about it.  Women make less because of what they know or what they are willing to do.  If women don’t like it, study a science or climb up into a five story crane on a cold, damp and windy day.  Problem solved.

Equal Pay Day especially relevant to Hoosiers
Falling behind
A gender wage gap exists in every state, but the full-time salaries of Indiana women compared with those of full-time male workers represents a wider gap than found in any of our neighboring states.
Indiana..................................$12,717
Ohio.......................................$11,477
Michigan...............................$11,044
Illinois................................... $11,003
Kentucky.................................$9,262
Source: National Partnership for Women & Families; US Census Bureau
There might come a time when it's not necessary to highlight Equal Pay Day as a call to erase the gender wage gap, but we're not there yet. That's especially true in Indiana, where the difference between men's and women's full-time earnings is the sixth largest in the nation. In the 3rd Congressional District, women earn just 74 cents for every dollar men earn.
The analysis by the National Partnership for Women & Families notes the detrimental effect on spending power. If Indiana women earned the same as their male counterparts, the additional money in their paychecks would cover the average monthly cost of child care for 16 months.
Another analysis – this one by the American Association of University Women – ranks Hoosier women 46th in the nation for paycheck equity.
“Existing Indiana law is weak when it comes to equal pay,” according to the AAUW report. “Several bills were introduced during the 2018 legislative session, but none moved forward, marking yet another squandered opportunity to make the lives of women better and more equitable.”
House Bill 1390, sponsored by Rep. Linda Lawson, D-Hammond, would have made it illegal to pay wages that discriminate on the basis of gender for substantially similar work. It would also have prohibited employers from requiring workers to sign a wage nondisclosure agreement.
The bill was never called for a hearing. The same fate awaited HB 1344, Indianapolis Democrat Robin Shackleford's bill requiring an employer to provide reasonable accommodations for an employee with a condition related to pregnancy or childbirth.
It's not for a lack of time. While ignoring legislation that might allow Indiana women to improve their economic status, legislative leaders always find time for bills aimed at restricting reproductive rights.
Indiana's policies explain its continued poor performance on a state ranking for work and family policies – dead last among the states and the District of Columbia. Lack of support for paid leave, elder and dependent care, child care and state-supported preschool push Indiana to the bottom.
When Indiana lawmakers talk about jobs and economic development, they inevitably focus on tools other states use to draw investment. But their toolbox full of tax credits and other incentives never seems to include the family-friendly policies that have long been in place elsewhere. Instead, the General Assembly has pursued education reform efforts that have contributed to the wage gap. Indiana teachers, in a field where women are well represented, watched their wages decline by 15 percent between 2000 and 2017, according to figures from the National Center for Education Statistics. That's the steepest decline in the nation.
On this Equal Pay Day, consider the long-term consequences for Hoosier women, children and the state overall. Then consider what it will take to push the General Assembly to turn its attention to policies to stem the economic decline.

Rouge special council now the most powerful man in the world

Special Council for life Robert Mueller is the most powerful man in the world.  He’s accountable to no one.  He has unlimited access to people, money and federal assets.  He can ruin anyone he chooses to ruin. Very few people are willing to risk becoming a target by calling BS on his phony azz.  He is backed by the MSM, Hollywood and Caligula, D.C. swells none of whom give a rat’s azz if Mueller destroys the president and America behind his sham investigation.  In fact, since Zuckerberg does not know Lex exists, I’ll go so far as to say that they actually hope Mueller does destroy America; rips it apart at the seams;  causes a real no sh*t shooting civil war so that the azzweasels can start over making America there personal piggy banks.
The headline on Drudge this morning was “Republican leaders back Mueller.”  Of course they do.  They’re swamp creatures by and large and have no interest in PDJT’s success thereby exposing the Rat establishment Republican Party as the opposite wing of the same Caligula, D.C. bird as the Demo-Dopes.
If PDJT cannot fire Mueller, can’t fire Sessions, can’t fire Rosenstein he should very publicly order them to turn over every page of every file that the congress has asked for pertaining to crooked Hillary’s e-mail, uranium one, Clinton Foundation etc. by the end of the week. When the DOJ and FBI whine about classified material, PDJT should respond, “What classified material?  It was all on crooked Hillary’s unsecure server.  It has all been compromised.  The only people who do not know what’s in there are congress and the American people.  Release it all.  Ominus dominus I hereby declare every word unclassified.  Now release the information or federal marshals will raid YOUR offices and confiscate YOUR papers.”
He should appoint his own special council to look into corruption at DOJ, FBI and Special Council Mueller.  Make it clear that there are no bounds whatsoever on what the new Special Council is allowed to look into, no time limit and no budget constraints. Make it clear that driving targets into bankruptcy in order to force plea deals is a perfectly acceptable practice.  Make it clear that if targets do not cooperate that the new Special Council should target their families and friends.  Make it more than clear that highly publicized early morning raids on targets’ homes and offices is the preferred method for obtaining documents and files. Last, leaks favoring the Special Council are to be encouraged, and no, hell no, it does not matter if the leak contains an iota of truth.
It’s time for Mueller to tell someone what he’s got, where he’s going and how long it’ going to take.  Otherwise I can guarantee you we’ll be here in 2038 with news of Mueller’s successor Peter Strzock looking into Russian financing of Barron Trump’s endowment and the flower arrangement some Russian guy sent to the funeral home after PDJT passed away.
Absent firing anyone, PDJT should just start pardoning away.  Pardon Flynn first and force AG Sessions to go out explain why.  Explain the corruption in Mueller’s office that led to Flynn’s indictment, bankruptcy and eventual plea deal.  Once that’s done PDJT should order the treasury to reimburse Flynn all cost and lost income for the ordeal.
That should be sufficient to send a message to anyone coming under Mueller’s scrutiny to just hang tough.  They’ll be alright in the end and have enough material for a bestselling book “How I survived the tyranny of a rouge special council (sub title) A thank you note to PDJ.”
Today’s JG Rant
Re: Vicky Foltz’s letter “Here’s the difference”, of Apr 10, 2018

Since the close-minded JG editorial staff decided to emulate Mark Zuckerberg and play Masters of the Ft. Wayne Universe by expunging nearly all conservative thought from the JG editorial page – hilarity has ensued.

The page is now rife with incoherent letters from people who don’t know the difference between semi and fully automatic rifles, clips and magazines, cartridges and bullets, the origins of the Second Amendment (hint it’s not hunting), but does contain some of the most comical reasoning found outside the satire found on the People’s Cube and the Onion web sites.

Take Vicky Foltz’s letter…please (rim shot).  According to her FDR and JFK’s philandering was okay because back in the day women knew their position in society – prone and silent.  Back then they knew better than to make a fuss about a powerful man bedding them. Better to live quietly than to die screaming for help in the backseat of Teddy Kennedy’s submerged sedan.

By Foltz’s logic,(Trigger warning) President Donald J. Trump’s alleged indiscretions are much worse because he might have actually paid the women to keep quiet instead of threatening to destroy their lives. Now those alleged payments are considered “election tampering” and “criminal” by the great minds on the left.  Why?  Two adults allegedly engaged in a mutually beneficial contract.  And if there is a crime, typically, the person demanding payment is considered the perp.

Here’s the main thing.  Everyone knew who (trigger warning) President Donald J. Trump was before the election.  We voted for him anyway, because we also knew who Hillary Clinton was – a lying, thieving, rape enabling, power hungry, drunken, vindictive, sick, unstable…well even the JG doesn’t have enough ink and newsprint to list all the applicable modifiers, but you get the point.

Here’s the REAL difference between (trigger warning) President Donald J. Trump’s alleged philandering and that of Democrat presidents.  (Trigger warning) President Donald J. Trump’s alleged trysts have all occurred PRIOR to his taking his oath.  He’s not using the Oval Office as a rendezvous to bang the staff, grope donors, expose himself to visitors and solicit oral sex.

I know.  It’s the least we can expect, right, but after FDR, JFK and Clinton, it’s baby steps for now.

Here's the difference
Oscar H. Knerr (Letters, April 3) wondered what the difference was between the infidelities of Presidents Kennedy and Franklin Roosevelt and the person currently holding the office. The difference is that no one we are aware of paid their mistresses to keep quiet about said affairs prior to their election as president – and that could be considered election tampering and that behavior is criminal.
