And the winner is...

The problem with having a record, unless you’re the P-BO, is that you have to defend that record. I thought Rick Santorum looked foolish defending his last night. He didn’t quite make a reasonable defense for his vote to fund contraception for Planned Parenthood. It basically boiled down to I’m a principled conservative, but not that principled. Defending the Ted I only drowned one woman in my car Kennedy inspired no child left behind act, Santorum actually said that “politics is a team sport; sometimes you have to take one for the team.” I think that’s what many of us have been pointing out for low these too many years. The fix is in among the political elite. Get in line take one for the team and get your re-election campaign funds.

That’s how we got:
McCain Feingold campaign finance debacle
P-BO care
TARP
Stimulus I and II
That’s how the debt ceiling gets raised without so much as a ten cent cut anywhere

Frankly, Rick, that’s how we’ve gotten to where we are, pols being pols, going along to get along. Hell you can not even count on the Republican ruling class to stand up to the Demo-Dope ruling class anymore. Sorry Rick what we need, at least with respect to getting our domestic house in order, are more contrarian, stick to their guns, what? are you nuts? types like…well like…Ron Paul. Paul drives off the cliff when argues that we’re responsible for Iran’s irrational behavior. We’re not. They are totally nuts and will nuke Israel and us if they get the chance. So we ought to prevent that if at all possible.

Newt was the debate Newt, which for some odd reason is not the day to day Newt. The debate Newt is smart, forceful, articulate and calm. He attacks the president with ease and has 2-3 take away lines every time. Taking CNN to task for assailing the Republican field on contraceptives, while giving the P-BO a pass on his support for infanticide of babies who survive an abortion, was brilliant. But alas, the day to day Newt talks about moon colonies, bitches about the rough and tumble of politics when it is directed at him and arrogantly calls for people who have beaten his brains out to get out of the race. If debate Newt can lock day to day Newt away until Nov, who knows what could happen.

Almost by default, I thought Romney was the big winner. He brushes aside, almost with ease now, the tired old attacks of “Romneycare is the same as the P-BOcare.” First, it isn’t. We have a 10th Amendment for a reason. Next, he always ends his argument by stating that he will in effect repeal P-BOcare on day one, by offering waivers to anyone who wants one. That’s good enough for me. He clobbered Santorum on his support for Scottish law expert Arlen Specter and Santorum’s own support for Romney in 2008.

Then there’s this:

Black dog?  Why defame black dogs?

This is so offensive in so many ways. First, I have a black dog. Comparing good ol’ George to the P-BO really, really Pees me off. George has actually made something of himself and has way more sense the P-BO. It beaks my heart that black dogs like Georgie are being defamed by an unfair comparison to a complete and total loser like the P-BO.

Next, I thought that the P-BO’s out reach to the Muslim world was going to cure all of this? WTF? (Win the future). Could it be that these people are just perpetually offended jack@$$es? Why yes, I think that’s the problem.
