Liberalism only exists because it is easy

Everything the liberals touch turns to crap.  So, why do we have liberals?  Same reason people would rather become rich by buying a lottery ticket rather than engage in serious thought or labor to gain the same end – it’s easier.  We have liberals because being liberal requires no effort.

It requires no more effort to support liberal lame-brained programs than it does to reap the benefits from those programs.  And when those programs prove harmful to society, liberals claim the program simply lacks sufficient funding.

Take welfare.  Which is easier, a program whereby the government is responsible to set conditions for a level playing field for people to succeed based on their own talents and ambitions or a bloated government program that simply issues government checks using money confiscated from the successful to issue to people who refuse to engage in any reasonable degree of the thought or labor required for success?

Then when sloth, ignorance and cultural rot is traced back to a welfare system that robs people of the dignity of making it on their own, liberals take the gutless path that it is NOT the welfare per se causing those problems but rather the under funding of the welfare system.  Here is the perfect metaphor for the liberal welfare vote buying machine.

Now what’s easier, setting conditions for people like that “lady” to get employment to buy their own damn phone or continue funding the program that gives her a phone?  Now in and of itself, giving everyone a cell phone is not a bad thing.  In fact the NSA is encouraging that program for some reason.  And we can all use more cell phone video of cops run amuck, and cell phone pics of politicians’ privates.

But it has gotten to the point that government is subsidizing every aspect of life.  It has gotten to the point that 50% of Americans are getting some kind of government assistance.  It has gotten to the point that savvy Americans can draw 40K in government “benefits” making it unlikely that they will engage in serious thought and labor for less than 50K.

Liberals are like water.  They always take the path of least resistance – always running downhill and taking the country with them.  It’s easier to take the down hill path ever descending until it becomes nearly impossible to start back up the slippery path.

Now if you think it’s difficult for an adult to trudge uphill against the torrent of bad but easy ideas being foisted on us daily, try it as a teenager.  EVERYTHING is stacked against them.  Schools and colleges are dominated by lame-brained Godless communist teachers and professors.  The culture has so rotted that there are very few musicians, actors or athletes who affirm a traditional view of America.  Why?  Well that would take courage and it may cost a roll or two.  It's just easier to along with the flow.

So now we are to the point that we let ourselves be intimidated by the lame-brained among us.  Better to just shut up and go with the flow than to be heard saying WTF when a teenager who dares wear a NRA T-shirt or cross to school being ridiculed and in the first case suspended.   Better to go along than to risk little Johnny’s grade by telling a school “teacher” that they are supposed to be teaching NOT indoctrinating.  Better to go with the downhill flow than stand up for the black and white letter law contained in the 2^nd Amendment that is so plainly written only lawyers are capable of misinterpreting it.

Better to watch the country be destroyed by a voluminous, unread, unreadable, unenforceable POS comprehensive immigration reform bill than risk being called a racist for opposing the crap heap.

Yeah, for sure, liberalism requires no brains, no guts, no spine and no soul.  It is above all else – easy.
