Sarah Palin made news by saying if the Republican controlled house passed immigration reform it may be time to leave the Republican Party. Sarah, there is no Republican Party. It left us a long time ago. We are as close to one party rule as the old
Don’t believe me? Try this exercise.
Suppose there was a tit-for-tat egging of party leaders. Chuckles Schumer gets hit in the face with an egg. The conservatives cheer. In retaliation, some Lib hits John McCain in the face with an egg. The conservatives cheer. So, Harry the roach Reid gets hit in the face with an egg. The conservatives cheer. The Libs retaliate by hitting Rubio in the face with an egg. The conservatives cheer. So Gran Nan from San Fran Pelooser gets egged and conservatives cheer. Libs respond by egging John cry baby Boehner and conservatives cheer. So, Soto Mayor gets egged and conservatives cheer. In retaliation, John Roberts gets egged and conservatives cheer. The tit-for-tat ends when Slow Joe two blasts and a garden variety slap Biden is egged and everyone cheers.
Now tell me we do not have Libs and Lib-lites running or ruining as it may be the country.
OK now ask yourself, “Why are both Demo-Dopes and Republi-Rats upset with Ed Snowden for outting the NSA’s vacuuming up every imaginable bit of information about me? Hmm, shouldn’t someone be upset about that?” No. Both think that they will control those levers of power at some point.
In the post under, among other things, Lex gave incredible insight into the 5 Dopes in Robes ruling on DOMA. After that ruling LB came out and said not to worry. He wouldn’t force churches to perform homosexual marriages. That’s not the headline. The headline is that the little numb nuts, a supposed constitutional scholar, thinks he has that authority and the only thing saving our churches today is LB’s benevolence. But where was the outrage by the loyal opposition? There was none.
OK, let’s say during his fourth term LB “evolves” like his evolution on homosexual marriage and decides it’s time for churches to start marrying homosexuals. What party is going to stand in his way? Republi-Rats? Ha! 5 dopes in robes? Good luck with that crap shoot.
So what can all of this mean? It means, Mr. & Mrs.
Don’t believe it? Consider this:
A large majority still oppose Robertscare. Yet it remains the law of the land.
A large majority of Americans are more interested in securing the border than securing a path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Yet the senate insisted upon legalizing every illegal alien in the country before one thing is done to secure the border.
An overwhelming majority oppose homosexual marriage. Yet the 5 dopes in robes ignore the vote of the people of CA to more or less legalize homosexual marriage in CA and signal that it will do so in every state that resists the borg. In doing so the court accused anyone who might disagree with the five for any reason, religion, culture, 5,000 years of history – no matter what, if you resist you’re a reprehensible bigot.
Today our government is actively violating the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 9th and 10th Amendments of the constitution with impunity. Which party is standing their ground to protect the constitution? There is not one.
The only hope is a Cruz/Paul ticket Republican or otherwise.
