For all of our science and spying, it turns out that we do not actually know where MH 370 flew to. Billbo O’Really took a victory lap when the Malaysian government declared that the flight went down in the south
Billbo, why would you believe the Malaysian government? I don’t necessarily buy their line. Given the geography, it’s likely that the plane went down in the
I’d say that until proof is provided, governments and people ought not “declare” anything. It is probably best to use the preface, “we believe that…” until proof can be provided.
The case of Ivan Lopez is pretty much the same. Barring the discovery of a suicide note (the black box equivalent in these cases), any conspiracy theory that comes up is as good as any other. So instead of concentrating on the real but unsolvable problem of why Lopez did what he did, Dopes concentrate the instrument used in the crime. Dopes start beating the ban all guns drum before the bleeding of the last casualty has stopped.
They are not serious. If they were, they’d be calling for a ban on transoceanic flights. Lopez killed four people including himself. MH 370 went somewhere with 239 souls on board. Sadly suicide by airplane is not all that uncommon an experience. Since an Egyptian pilot decided to kill himself and everyone on board Egypt Air flt 990, airplane suicide is probably only a bit less rare but a heck of a lot more spectacular than the occasional
I’d also make this point, it’s a heck of lot easier to screen pilots and passengers than it is to screen gun owners. Yet planes and the passengers aboard keep disappearing. When will Chuck Schumer propose legislation to end the carnage?
Hold King SFB et al to the same standard as GM
The ruling class had field day heaping scorn on the new CEO of general Motors for that company’s failure to correct a problem with the ignition on some GM models. Fine. 13 people were killed because GM apparently decided it was cheaper to pay the inevitable law suits than deal with a recall. That’s criminal. Someone should go to jail for that negligence.
The same is true for the legion of government azzwipes involved in the myriad scandal in this administration. Has anyone been held accountable for Fast and Furious? No. That negligence resulted in the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and hundreds if not thousands of Mexican citizens.
Has anyone been held responsible for
King SFB said the IRS scandal was “outrageous” until he realized it could be traced right to his campaign’s door, then it became a phony scandal. No one has been punished.
NSA spying is/was nothing because the collected data wasn’t being used to target Americans. Lex’s conspiracy theory # XX knows full well that it was used to turn Chief Justice Roberts' opinion on the ACA. Robert’s logic in that case has more inexplicable twist than pallet load of Twizzlers.
Has anyone been let go over the DoJ harassment of journalist who do not toe the SFB line? No.
So yeah, give GM hell. They deserve it. But so do a litany of government F-ups. Starting with Eric the wad Holder and running through the Shrilldabeast, Jimmy the lying Lip Clapper, and his deputy liar Morrell. The ruling class will not turn on any of their own. That's why they all need to go.

From the Griffin....
Profiling of a shooter/murderer includes the vast majority being young men 18-28 years old. So now let's focus on where they congregate. College? Yes. The military? Yes. Professional sports? Yes. Poor areas at night doing drug deals? Yes. Late night clubs/bars? Yes. Cheerleading competitions? No. AARP meetings? No. Expensive restaurants? No. As a fishermen one thing I know is that 90% of the fish live in 10% of the water. I saw plenty of fist fights in the service. Have yet to see one in church. Guess where you should have access to some type of legal weapon?
