The Hunt is a “mainstream”
movie where elite leftists kidnap “deplorables” and then use them as game in a
controlled hunt. People of all stripes
are offended.
To my way of thinking how great would it be if
we could just get Michael Moore and a long list know-nothing, do-nothing, be-nothing
lefty libs into the woods for a “hunt”? We could kill them all. Problem solved.
The Griffin and his
real hunting buddies would be good for a score or two each of typical AntiFa Lefty
losers or those who populate Hollywood, TV talk shows - trapped, gutted and
heads mounted on a pike - probably all within an hour or two.
Even against half
dozen or so so-called athletes like Colin Kaepernick, they wouldn’t stand a
chance. Once Colin got his foot caught
in snare, hit over the head with club, his weapon taken - it would be game over
for the pampered lefties.
So if we could just
trick the left into thinking that this “Hunt” scenario is a really good idea,
we could start killing the azzbags off in large numbers and the world would be a
better place.
DISCLAIMER: This is not advocating for or endorsing the
murder of Lefty Libs outside being kidnapped by them and being used for a “Hunt.” But if you find yourself in that scenario, by
all means kill them all.
Re: James Cox letter, “If
the shoe fits…” of Aug 9, 2019
I want to congratulate
Cox on his brilliant letter. Making an
appeal to authority by citing a reference that literally allows anyone to post
anything about everything (Wikipedia) was a total stroke of genius.
That said, I wonder if
the cult of personality Cox was pointing to is those suffering from Trump Derangement
Syndrome following cult leader Mueller until he was proven to be a total fraud
and now hooking their wagon to Jerry Nadler’s impeachment hoax.
If the title fits ...
Definition from Wikipedia: “A cult of personality, or cult of
the leader, arises when a country's regime – or, more rarely, an individual –
uses the techniques of mass media, propaganda, the big lie, spectacle, the
arts, patriotism, and government-organized demonstrations and rallies to create
an idealized, heroic, and worshipful image of a leader, often through
unquestioning flattery and praise.”

Years ago, I lived in
a very diverse neighborhood. One evening
while I was out for a run, a car load of very broken young black men pelted me
with half full beer cans. Because I
wasn’t a totally woke virtue signaling poseur like Chaffee, I didn’t lay the
incident off on the community or an entire race of young black men, so I
continued to run down that road on a regular basis.
What does my experience
and that of the elderly black woman Chaffee describes in his letter have in
common? Well, both incidents prove that
stupid people do stupid things. Sadly,
there is no shortage of stupid people of every hue and color populating our
orb.
So what should good people
do in response? Lots of things. Live by example, for one. What we should not do, should never do, is adopt
Chaffee’s smugness and self-righteousness and use the broadest brush possible
to color entire groups of people. Back
in the good ol’ days, when the word had meaning, that used to be called racism.

Local woman's encounter reflects white male malice
Mark V.
Chaffee
There's something so very broken with far too many white males
in the U.S. Because I look like them, broken males feel confident that I'm one
of them and consequently share openly with me their brokenness.
Not being one of them, my network, loaded with nonwhites, quite
frequently shares with me their encounters with such broken males.
Last week, I received a call from a black friend of mine in Fort
Wayne. She is 70 years old and small. She called after returning from a Kroger
in Fort Wayne – returning home without going into the store.
She didn't go in because, once again, she was confronted by a
big white guy who frightened her. In 2019, in Fort Wayne, she was accosted by a
big white guy – and felt in fear of her well-being.
How did he frighten her? She pulls up and parks the brand, new
car she is using, which belongs to one of her children, a local professional.
My friend went to this store specifically to get a few things, enjoying the
“nice produce.”
A new silver pickup pulls up beside her. Big, old white guy gets
out. “Nice car,” he comments to my friend. “Thanks. It's my daughter's new
car,” my friend responds, friendly, tickled that this stranger was being warm
and complimentary. Tickled as the car reflected her offspring's career success
and well-being that someone complimented.
“What pole does she dance from?” he retorts with a sneer. “Just
another n----- with a new car,” he says with the smirk common to such broken
impotence, sauntering off toward the store.
My friend froze to the spot, so struck with surprise by the
vicious arrogance of this seemingly nice man. She climbed back in the car, sat
shaking, and drove home and called me.
Big. Old. White. Male. Small. Old. Black. Woman. And really –
who feared who?
This white guy, openly racist, knows he can get away with his
racist bullying because he's intimidating by size alone relative to this
diminutive, senior black woman. He feels free to bully because in his town,
such brokenness is frequently and openly displayed in inter-group contacts.
Frequently, my friend shares stories of racially framed
interactions she has with white folks of both genders in this “fair” northern
city. They stun me as a rural white guy, stories so openly, flagrantly racist.
Brokenness like one saw back in the '50s and '60s. I haven't witnessed such
white male impotence, hidden behind their masks of hostility and arrogance,
since I was a kid.
That bully would never have asserted his ignorance to a 6-foot-3
black male, same build, without the white guy being surrounded by other
similarly impotent white males. They'd “have his back” in their shared
ignorance, trying to intimidate and bully by numbers, since physical size
wouldn't be enough. That's a way males assist each other to feel like they're
important and higher-status than the bullied – pick on the vulnerable.
Last weekend, two white males, lost in the impotence of their
ignorance and fear, fired into dozens of unknown people in two cities to prove
how manly they are.
They didn't need shiny pickups. They didn't need similar
impotents to have their backs. Their similars already had their backs by
ensuring that fearful, impotent males can own guns designed for mass carnage
and can own high-capacity magazines to ensure the ammunition access required
for carnage.
The prevalence of so many broken males points to our broken
culture – families, schools, religions/gods, politics. We've been taught all
along the way that we didn't have to pay attention to the people who were being
left behind in this culture.
From Fort Wayne to El Paso, we built these broken males
with shiny guns and shiny pickups. When are we going to do something meaningful
about our societal brokenness?

Re: Mark Temte’s letter, “Low gun death rate shows benefit of New Zealand laws” of Aug 6,
2019
Temte’s letter proves one thing, Democrats are not serious about
solving the problem of mass shootings in America.
Why does Temte have to go half way around the world to New
Zealand to find gun control that works?
Why doesn’t he travel to Chicago or one of a couple of dozen other Democrat
controlled cities for decades and tout the gun control in those places? I’ll tell you why, because gun control does
not work and has probably contributed to weekly mass murder in those places.
Does Temte recall that we’ve already tried an “assault
weapons” ban from 1994 - 2003? It failed miserably. Check the data.
Comparing the US to New Zealand in about any regard is like
comparing a local diner to McDonald’s.
New Zealand has an estimated 300,000 gun owners who own about 1.5
million weapons. In America, estimates
are that 130,000,000 Americans own over 400,000,000 weapons. Of the 400,000,000 million guns owned by
Americans, 15-20 million of them are estimated to be modern sporting rifles.
Do the math. What’s
the cost of a mandatory federal buyback?
Even Kiwis aren’t buying their government’s foolishness. After New Zealand enacted its mandatory
buyback program March 20, 2019, by July 22, only about 2,000 weapons had been
turned in. Does tente seriously suppose that Americans are going to surrender
their Constitutional rights to comply with the dictates of craven
socialist/communist poiticians?
Is Temte aware that New Zealand’s law does not recognize
self-defense as a legitimate reason for obtaining weapons permit?
On 9-11 when 19 terrorists killed nearly 3,000
Americans using passenger airliners, no one seriously considered banning such
airplanes. Instead the effort was directed at keeping lunatics from boarding
such aircraft.
So why is it when a crazy uses a sporting rifle
to kill Americans the kneejerk reaction of Libs is to ban the rifle, and in the
process trample the Constitution and penalize law abiding citizens, instead of
keeping such instruments out of the hands of the lunatics?
Low gun death rate shows benefit of New Zealand laws
Eric Beebe's letter (“Gun laws' value disproven after recent
massacre,” July 26) claims that New Zealand's commonsense laws restricting
firearms were ineffective because they did not prevent the Christchurch mosque
massacre and, therefore, they would not be effective in the United States.
What he failed to mention is that, under the gun laws prior to
the massacre and adjusted for population, there were 23 gun homicides in the
United States for every single gun homicide in New Zealand. Let that sink in —
not 23% more, or twice as many, but 23 times as many. Specifically, the United States
had a gun homicide rate of 4.46 per 100,000 population in contrast to a rate of
only 0.187 in New Zealand.
It should be noted that New Zealand is not an outlier. Most
developed countries have commonsense gun laws and a rate less than 0.50. I
would urge the writer to focus less on trying to denigrate New Zealand as a
so-called “liberal Democrat's paradise of gun laws” and more on critical
thinking.

The movie The Hunt will be shown in Gun Free theaters? The depiction of elites hunting down The Deplorables? What is Hollywood thinking when all the talk is about what triggers nutballs to shoot up a place like a theater. No matter how this goes down, the left will blame Trump. Soccer mom's will buy more bullet proof student back packs, and The Griffin will spend some time with a reloader. Call me crazy.
