Re: Marilyn Moran-Townsend’s letter “Reaction to letter reflects 'oasis for civil discourse'” of Dec 3, 2019.

The reaction to Moran-Townsend’s letter may have been “civil” but many of the leftist letters that make the editor’s cut for this page are far from it.  Just recently JG editors saw fit to published two letters that referred to the President of the United States AND HIS WIFE as porn stars.  That, I suppose, passes for “civil” on the left these days.

Most letters deriding PDJT are heavy on such pointless and childish personal insults and devoid of any discussion about PDJT’s policies that have made the stock market roar, unemployment fall across the board, wages rise, ISIS retreat, Israeli embassy move, the military stronger, America an energy exporter, the border more secure, etc. etc. etc. etc.

Diverse opinions?  You cannot be serious.  The JG editors make sure that the JG letters page is little more than a left wing echo chamber of insult, innuendo, MSNBC type left wing talking points calling the president and his 63 million supporters racists and any other vile name that pops into their hate-filled minds.

While the left wails like a little girl with two skinned knees about Jason Arp's mailer, they remain curiously silent about mounting violence on the left (500+ documented cases and rising everyday) toward anyone in a MAGA hat or on the right generally.

Reaction to letter reflects 'oasis for civil discourse'

I am so proud of the northeast Indiana citizens who responded to my Nov. 22 letter regarding a controversial political ad by Jason Arp. Their comments were thoughtful and civil. I very much enjoyed reading them and thinking deeply about their points of view.

When we founded AVOW to advance the voices of women in our region, our chief goal was to create a public square where people could express different opinions in a civil manner. I really believe our citizens are doing exactly that.

I am also thankful to this newspaper for publishing diverse opinions. Northeast Indiana is an oasis for civil discourse, and I believe it is one of the many reasons that we are a magnet for talented people. Thank you!

Some Friday stuff

Friday HooRay!!  The Dopes have backed themselves into box.  Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser thought she could make Mitch McConnell cower to her whims with regard to a Senate trial for PDJT after the House’s BS impeachment.  Mitch laughed in her old, old, old, ugly, overly botoxed, fake eyebrows put on with mason’s trowel, teeth falling out of her foul sewer slit face.  You ain’t gonna send them goofy impeachment articles over to the senate unless I allow you and Chuckles the weeping clown Scummmer write the rules? YGBSM.  Keep ‘em you old hag.  I didn’t want to deal with them anyway.  Shove ‘em up your old wrinkled azz for all I care.”

Oops. Now what?  One Dope lawyer says PDJT hasn’t even been formally impeached until the articles are sent to the Senate – so there’s that.  Expect PDJT to taunt the botoxed one with that news.  “Impeached?  I haven’t been impeached.  Ask your own lawyer.”

For his part, PDJT is reveling in the impeachment.  “It doesn’t feel like impeachment.  The country is doing better than ever.  Stocks are at record highs…again.  Unemployment is record lows.  I guess the Demo-Dopes cannot take too much peace and prosperity so they impeached me for Making America Great Again.”   

Now what does the nation’s biggest turd merchant do?  Idunno.  More importantly, neither does she. No doubt whatever the brain-dead BS artist comes up with she will declare victory and announce that she is a “master legislator.” 

The “master legislator” is taking credit for passing the USMCA.  It sat on the “master legislator’s” desk for a year until the old bag needed a distraction, some top cover, for her failed impeachment gambit.  When the old witch tries to take credit for the USMCA, Republicans should reprise her old line – “She so dumb…”  “How dumb is she?”  “She’s so dumb she had to pass the USMCA to find out what’s in it.” 

Meanwhile the IG report is becoming more and more clear as IG Horowitz was forced to admit that he could not rule out bias as the basis for the bogus FISA warrants.  Well no sh*t Mr. IG.  George the wonder dog looked at me just the other day when some Dope was saying as loud as he could, “THE IG DIDN’T FIND ANY BIAS” and lamented, “How dumb do they think we are?  I need to go out by the way.”

So the IG is kicking Dope talking points to the curb and Durham’s report is getting white hot for crooks like Johnny the red Brennan, Jimmy the shape shifter Comey and Jimmy the fib Clapper.  It sounds like a crime ob because it is a crime mob.  Everyone who touched those FISA warrants has some serious ‘splainin to do. They all need to 5-10 years hard time.

Speaking of that, the holidays are upon us.  It’s perfect time for PDJT to start issuing pardons.  Flynn would be top of list.  Followed by Papadopolis, Manafort, Stone et al. In addition to correcting the heavy hand of the Mueller BS investigation, it would drive the MSM and the left crazy.  The ONLY thing that would send them close to the edge is if Ruth Bader Ginsberg decided that she’d had enough and announced that she’d live out the of 35 years on a beach in Aruba. 

There was a dDope debate last night.  Who knew?  The sound bite making the runds is Mr. Blue Collar himself saying, “Yes. Hell yes the working class can go to hell.  The Green New Deal is more important than anyone’s or even everyone’s jobs.”  That’ll go well.

Impeachment nothing but a clown show but somehow brings Dopes closer to the Lord

The Dope clown show was on full display yesterday for all of the unemployable Hunter Biden type Dopes to sit in mom’s basement and relevel in for 8 hours. I couldn’t stomach 10 minutes of it.

Riddle me this Batman:  How is it one Dope after another went to floor of the House of Representatives and claimed that there was “clear evidence” PDJT had committed high crimes and/or misdemeanors but Chuckles the weeping clown Scummer demands witnesses be called to the senate trial to prove the case?  Hmm?  Makes no sense.  Shouldn’t the Dopes have proven the case in House before voting on impeachment?  Why did they all say the case was made if, according to Chuckles, it wasn’t?  Lucy, someone has some splainin’ to do.

Praise the Lord the Dopes have found Jesus – and it’s just in time for Christmas:  Lying hosebag - Grand Nan from San Fran Peloser - has invoked religion into the impeachment process from the beginning.  The baby murdering “Catholic” talked about impeachment being a “prayerful” process.  Several Dopes injected prayer and religion into their two minutes of lies on the House floor.  So we’re supposed to believe that the party that rails against every notion of religion in the public square and sued the Little Sisters of the Poor has suddenly found religion. I know that every human being who looks in a mirror sees a hypocrite and sinner staring back but this is just too much.  I don’t believe a word of it.  BS artists don’t begin to describe it.  BS artists are straight shooters compared to this bunch.  Grand Nan even invoked the Pledge of Allegiance.  Did anyone ask the queen of botox to voice an opinion on the “one nation, under God” portion of the pledge that leftists demand be excised?

Ukraine is a matter of “national security” – who knew?  Really?  The Kurds are indispensable allies and the Ukraine is a matter of national security.  BS.  If that were true why didn’t The Empty Suit declare war on Russia when they stole Crimea out from under his turned up nose?  Ukraine is about as important to US national security as Lower Slobovia – that is, it isn’t.  Total BS.  Ask every damn one of them if Ukraine is worth going to war over.  My guess is that every one of them will answer in the negative.

Pre-crime:  Apparently impeachment is vital to keep PDJT from committing the pre-crime of interfering in the 2020 election.  It so vital that Queen Azzbag Grand Nan is considering withholding the charges from the senate until she can get Mitch McConnell to agree to a conviction and removal of PDJT in the name of “fairness.”  So much for the axiom “justice delayed is justice denied.”  I could have sworn defendants were ENTITLED to a speedy trial.  I guess there’s an Azzbag Speaker of the House clause.  Defendants are entitled to a speedy trial unless a corrupt, lying, thieving weasels occupies the office of Speaker of the House.  My hope is that old bag keeps turning western norms of justice on their heads.  The longer she keeps kicking her Dope buds in the groin with this impeachment scam the longer the American people have to figure out what a worthless lot the Dopes truly are.

The Trump factor:  The Dopes miscalculated from the start.  Wile E. Demo-Dope was sure that they had PDJT lined up under the Acme anvil for sure when the anonymous Blower came forward with complaint about the Ukraine phone call.  The Anvil fell on Slow Joe Biden’s head when the worthless lying bag of sh*t was dragged into the sh*t show after PDJT unexpectedly released the transcript of the call.  PDJT, unlike any other Republican, will fight back hard.  So far, I’d say impeachment has been a net gain for PDJT and net bat to the back of the head for the Slowest of all Joes.  So, yeah, keep it up.

Impeachment dodge:  The IG report is out.  Durham’s report is coming.  The Dopes need something, anything to distract from the azzwippin’ those reports are going to lay on tier worthless azzes. So Grand Nan may withhold the article from the Senate until Durham releases his report.  Then the Dopes’ sycophantic MSM can give all their attention the impeachment being moved to the Senate while ignoring the Durham report.  

Prediction:  Grand Nan will get hammered daily about moving the “critically important impeachment” onto the senate. Dopes will continue to their slide in the polls.  Hip-hip-hooray!!!

As the Democrat Party slides past socialism onto full blown communism, it’s fitting they have chosen Dec 18^th to impeach PDJT.  Dec 18^th, 1878 is the birthday of leftist hero Uncle Joe Stalin. 

It was, after all, Uncle Joe’s head of Secret Police – Lavrentiy Beria – who once famously said, “Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime.”  The Democrats had their man late on the evening of Nov 8^th, 2016.  They have spent every moment since trying to hang “the crime” on him. 

They have failed miserably.  So now they are reduced to just making crimes up out of whole cloth. The entire impeachment show has been like watching a replay of last year’s Super Bowl.  Everyone knows how it ends.  Democrats will get their way on the 18^th, and then the entire ship load of bologna will, correctly, sink in the senate on a bipartisan vote.

The question for Democrats is:  Then what?

It's impeachment day; Here's how to celebrate

Short post this morning.  I have a maintenance issue here at the compound. A vendor is coming at the butt crack of dawn to address the problem. So I have to clear a path through the mine field, guide him around the tank traps peal back a bit of the triple stacked concertina wire so he can get in to do his work. 

So here e go.  Today is I-Day – the “I” is for impeachment. Demo-Dopes are determined to race their rocket powered roller skates right into a boulder.  Good for them.  

The move does make me angry though.  Like Stalin, the Dopes had their man on Nov 9^th, 2016.  They’ve spent the last three years piling lies on top of lies in search of a crime to charge him with. It’s disgusting.

The line of Dopes who have become the face of the process are motley crew, Pencil Neck, Fat Jerry, Grand Nan, fart master Swalwell, low IQ Auntie Maxie et al are a nauseating bunch top to bottom, but work have worked against the Dopes every step of the way.

So today the same arguments that were hashed out in the most boring TV ever over the last several weeks will be rehashed over 6 hours of “debate” today. As AlGore said, “the debate is over.”  In this case it is.  The debate that gone on so far has failed to move the impeachment needle and, if anything, the Dopes have lost ground in the debate and exposed themselves as the pure azzbags that they are.

The big loser so far in all of this is Slow Joe Biden and his druggie azzbag SFB son, Hunter.  Slow Joe Biden is now quid pro quo Slow Joe.  He’s been exposed.  The Richard Cranium Dope primary voters may not want to talk about Slowest of all Joe’s corruption but PDJT will beat him like a 3 egg omelet if the Dopes are dumb enough to nominate the colossal azzbag.

So here’s my plan.  I’m going to celebrate the impeachment.  That’s right Mr. & Mrs. America celebrate.  Here’s how I’m going to celebrate.  I’m going here  to donate a “C” note to PDJT’s re-election campaign so that I can be part of what is sure to be a record breaking fund raising day for PDJT.

When I donated $100 in 2016,  Mrs. Lex asked, “Did you donate a 100 bucks to Trump?”  “Yes. Yes I did” I replied.  She says, “So we’re sending 100 of our hard earned Yankee dollars to a New York billionaire?” she asks.  “It sounds pretty stupid when you put like that, but yes, yes we are” and we are going to do it again – today.

PDJT is the only thing that stands between us them.  It may be the most important thing we can do at this point in history.  I also intend to celebrate by sending another hard hitting Lex rant to local fish wrap – via the snail mail.

This is the daily assault we’re under.  Name one Republican pol who could have withstood the all-out daily attacks that PDJT has withstood for the last three years?  Mitt Romney?  Ha that little weasel would have changed parties on day three.  John McCain?  Ha he’d have devolved into the angry little man that he was lashing out at everyone after the second of the slightest criticisms.    

No one, and I mean, NO ONE on the Republican side could have withstood the daily pillaring PDJT has withstood since day one.  PDJT not only has withstood the battering, he has thrived on it.  He has moved the ball forward on all manner of conservative issues and has been attacked by #NEVERTRUMPers – who supposedly advocated for the issues before Trump – for every one of his successes.

PDJT is not just the Man of the Year, he’s the Man of the Decade and soon moving on to the Man of the Century.  Who has gotten more done?  PDJT’s accomplishments are what drives the Dopes toward impeachment.  They know they cannot beat him.  They know they cannot stop the irresistible force that is PDJT.

Re: Evan Davis letter “GOP shows true colors in impeachment stand” of Dec 15, 2019.

I suppose Evan Davis is correct.  Republicans likely would never oppose the impeachment of Bill or Hillary Clinton under similar circumstances that PDJT finds himself in.  However, the Clinton crime family has a clear track record of past criminal activities that would make the charges all the more credible.

Bill is a convicted perjurer.  James the shape shifter Comey laid out Hillary’s criminal activities of obstructing justice by deleting e-mails, bleach bitting her servers and smashing her blackberries - all of which were under subpoena.  Then there’s whole pay-to-play Clinton Crime Family Foundation scheme. 

So sure, if past is prologue, the Clintons have proven to be willing to stray outside the bold line of the law for personal gain so any charge would be all the more believable.

Obama is a totally different case.  Obama made himself impeachment proof by taking on a lying, thieving, corrupt, buffoon – Slow Joe Biden – as his vice president.  Republicans understood that when it came to incompetence and stupidity, Obama was a piker when compared to the colossal nit wit who would succeed him if he were convicted and removed from office for high crimes and misdemeanors.

While Democrats are quite certain of themselves making pre-crime accusations – PDJT will enlist foreign governments to interfere in the 2020 election if not impeached and removed from office – they never ask themselves the simple question: Did Slow Joe Biden demand a quid pro quo from Ukraine – a billion plus in aid money for the firing of a Ukraine prosecutor looking into Biden’s otherwise unemployable son - as he clearly did and bragged about on tape.  That tape proves for the 10,000^th time what an arrogant boob he is and why Obama was unimpeachable.

  

GOP shows true colors in impeachment stand

Maybe Donald Trump has wanted to be impeached all along. For such an ego, how more glorious could life get than being the first president to be impeached and still be re-elected?

Now, after three years of mounting outrages, he's openly done something that clearly undermines legitimate government. He's used the power of the presidency to try to steal the next election, and impeachment appears certain.

Republicans are right that this impeachment is farcically partisan – because they have chosen it to be. I dare Republican members of Congress to say they would have opposed the impeachment of Bill Clinton, Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton in the same circumstances. Of course they wouldn't have – they from the party that impeached Bill Clinton for lying about oral sex and still clamors to jail Hillary Clinton for ... for what? Just for the fun of it.

In contrast, we have a president whose minions did go to jail after his first election. And now more minions work with him and the Russians to grab another, but the Republicans act like he ran a yellow light on Coldwater Road.

Republicans are wrong, however, to say that impeachment is an effort to overturn the 2016 election. Nothing in the world can do that. Impeachment is the constitutional process for responding to grave abuse of power after the election.

The party of Ronald Reagan and Richard Lugar is now the party of a wannabe dictator, but he's their wannabe dictator, and that's what matters most. And if he wins in the Electoral College again, they will party like it's 1984.

I get the left not liking the election of PDJT.  I’m old enough to remember eight years of Obama’s bumbling.  So, I get it.  I never liked the public figures who would defend Obama’s obtuse policies, malapropos, lies and holier than thou arrogance.  I never transferred my dislike for the news people and public sycophants who would defend Obama to my family and friends who voted for him.  

I can totally understand Kolhoff’s distrust (I suspect it’s much deeper than distrust bordering on hate) of Fox News’ primetime line up, Gateway Pundit and Powerline websites, but I cannot understand him transferring those feelings onto 63 million fellow citizens. 

I am a person who has never run afoul of the law (save for minor traffic violations), has faithfully paid my taxes, has supported charities (although maybe not as vigorously as I could), has gone to war for my country and have tried to maintain civil discourse with family and friends who differ with my political point of view.  So why the hate, Dave? 

Maybe that’s the problem.  Kolhoff has no family or friends who differ with him. He lives in a cocoon surrounded by only the likeminded. None dare offer a differing point of view less Kolhoff take them to task for differing with his own one-sided view of the world. 

My advice for Kolhoff is to get out more and meet some new people who might disagree with him.  Open your mind to differing points of view and learn that people who disagree with you are not necessarily evil people.       

Moral irrelevance is fate of Trump's GOP

I've been thinking about this letter for a while. What new outrage of the worst president in my lifetime should I describe while excoriating him and his enablers? But, given Donald Trump's daily absurdities and outrages, I determined that's a loser's game. There's no way to keep up with his craziness within the limitations of a letter to the editor.

Therefore, I've decided to address what I think is the basis of Trump's outrageous, damaging behavior. It is, I believe, his everyday supporters. Those who actively defend him and those who sit quietly by, hoping things will get better. Taking hope from the good economy and low unemployment.

Like it or not, democracy is a participation activity. If you are not part of the solution, you are, in fact, part of the problem.

Of course, Trump, Pompeo, McConnell, Nunes, Collins, Jordan, Banks, etc. are responsible for their actions. But what permits them to continue to act in ways that hurt our country? It is, of course, their supporters. Those willing to allow the hate, division and animosity to continue and grow.

I read those enablers often in letters in this paper. The conservative Republicans who rant against liberals and in favor of restrictions on them are, in my opinion, the problem. The damage of their uninformed, incorrect and harmful views will take years to undo. But undo them we must. The way we do that is to work and spend so that not a single Republican is elected until the GOP regains its moral compass and washes off the grime and slime that covers it as the Party of Trump.

UK elections and Lex's Man of the Year

Boris Johnson laid waste to the Labour Party and in the process maybe the elite, we’re better than you, haughty European Union.  In a thrashing so severe, so complete and so widespread not even the lying double d-bag American MSM could spin it into anything but what it was - a colossal, undeniable, unmitigated beat down of Labour and its socialist/communist policies.

Like American elections, I suppose there were many reasons for Johnson’s victory, but chief among them had to be his “I’LL get BEXIT done!” stand.   Now after three years of elites telling the people of the UK that they really didn’t mean it when they voted to leave the blood sucking, sovereignty severing, elitist nanny state EU SFB. Now the elites have been electorally kicked in the groin and had a fist smashed through their pointy noses.  Labour and EU elitists in the UK and Brussels are now on their hands and knees feeling about for their broken round wire frame glasses and wiping the blood from their noses so they can get up and demand someone “hold them back” in order to save the ruffian who just beat their prim elitist azzes from the thrashing he so richly deserves.   

Prediction:  Once Johnson makes it clear that he WILL ax ties with the EU in favor of trade agreement with the U.S. the dominoes will begin to fall as other EU members leave the taxes for nothing and BS for free EU organization.  EU wankers will start talking about new and improved soft BREXIT options.  The BS elitist EU F**Ks, who successfully bullied the hapless Theresa May, will get a jolly old “go f**k yourselves” from Johnson as they grovel like children begging mom for a piece of candy at the supermarket checkout (damn the people who put that stuff there).

Now the Dopes are looking at the UK elections as precursor to their own upcoming azzwhippin.  They are smart to do so.  But the farthest leftist reaches of the Demo-Dope party are not able to read the sign written 12 foot letters: DANGER AHEAD!  So they, like the Light Brigade of Tennyson fame, are willing to ride into the “jaws of death” rather than moderate their free everything for everyone… make that free everything for everyone in the entire world policies.  But unlike the Light Brigade, that made a historic, heroic charge against a well-prepared enemy and enjoyed a death in the glory of honorable combat, the Dopes have stuck their heads in the oven and turned on the gas knowing their adolescent children will discover their dead bodies.  Politically speaking of course, theirs is a political suicide.

Slow Joe – dumb as fence post - is billing himself as the moderate in the field.  That’s another lie from the sloth like Biden.  His Royal Slowness, among other things, raised his hand supporting healthcare for illegal aliens and has said no one needs an AR 15 adding his famous verbal “period” on the end of that BS claim.  Those are NOT moderate positions.

Lemmesee, how to put this?  Okay, not only is Slow Joe is a F**K, he’s a stupid F**K and not only is he a stupid F**K, he’s a stupid, lying F**K, and not only is he a stupid, lying F**K, he’s a stupid, lying, thieving F**K and not only…well you get the point.

The man of the year

The failing Time Magazine announced child know-nothing and climate alarmist Greta Tunberg as their “person of the year.”  Thunberg immediately went out and said, “We will make sure that we put them against the wall and they will have to do their job to protect our futures.”  The little girl wonder blamed the quote on her ”Swenglish” and was not alluding to that world leaders who fail to toe her crazy line should be executed.

I’ll give the ignorant little show off the benefit of the doubt, but it’s a crazy world when it comes to leftists these days.  They are becoming more and more violent when they do not get their way these day.  AntiFa, the left’ thug army, are probably already taking Greta’s words at face value and have begun looking for a wall and gun for the executions.  They don’t like democracy.  They get violent when they lose elections. Don’t believe that?  Watch this.

Carmelita is a mean, arrogant, snobby and selfish girl who cares for nobody but herself, demanding respect and reverence for herself, and insults the Baudelaires by calling them "cakesniffers". Carmelita acts as if she is the center of the universe and the entire world revolves around her. Her spoiled personality makes her show no respect to her elders and the world around her. To the Baudelaires and Quagmires, Carmelita was an insufferable and cruel bully. 

She is incredibly self-centered, but most adults seem uncaring of her attitude. Vice Principal Nero encouraged her behavior and believed her to be a darling little girl, while Esmé seems unaware of these traits or even is implied to adore them, spoiling and fussing over Carmelita, of which Olaf highly disapproves. Olaf seems rather annoyed by her, as he is used to having things his own way, and it comes as a blow when Esmé seems more interested in Carmelita's needs. When Esmé was convincing Carmelita to join them, she tells her, "You'll be the adoptive daughter we never had", while looking at the Baudelaires in a mean way. Even though Olaf is less fond of Carmelita, and this dislike grows through the series, both he and Esmé seem to bend to Carmelita's every whim. He is persuaded to name his submarine the Carmelita after she says the Olaf is a "cakesniffing" name. He also renamed his boat from the Count Olaf to the Carmelita.

Strip out Lemony Snickit's other characters from the series and tell me what in that blurb doesn't fit Greta to a "T"?  It is eerily accurate.  Truth reflects fiction.

There are about 7.8 billion people in the world.  Strip out a few million and any person that’s left would provide a better choice for “Person of the Year” than Greta.  Time Magazine, like most of the lefty lib presidential candidates, are simply pandering to uninformed morons with this choice.

The clear choice for Man of the Year is President Donald J. Trump.

Fat Jerry foregoes 6th trip through the buffet line to mark up impeachment articles

Fat Jerry (AKA Tweedledee) pushed away from the buffet table early last night to hold all-night hearings to mark up the articles of impeachment in the House of Representatives.  That was time well spent.  The rotund one might shed an ounce or two, but his impeachment dreams are going precisely nowhere in the senate. 

So yeah this is great use of everyone’s time and energy. 

Lindsey Graham says he is not going to call any witnesses and dispatch the impeachment articles quickly.  PDJT is demanding witnesses be called.  Hmm.  No one knows how these things might unfold.  As much as I’d like to see Shifty Schi(t)ff, Slow Joe et al get laid to waste under oath, my sense is that PDJT should get out of it quickly and take a victory lap.  All while demanding to call his witnesses.  Sort of like the little brother demanding that big bro “hold me back” when confronting someone who will clearly kick his ass. 

All it’ll take is one misstatement to start the whole line of BS all over again. Get rid of it.  The Dopes are going to walk away with excrement all over themselves after this.  The only bipartisan portion of this entire thing is likely to be opposing impeachment and conviction. Take the win.  Move on.

Pound the IG FISA report and the upcoming Durham report.  Durham’s report will likely put several Obama era deep-state azzbags in a hard way ahead of the 2020 election.  I believe this to be true because sh*t eater Eric the wad Holder has pulled his head out of Obama’s azz long enough to say General Barr is not worthy of the office.  What a Richard cranium.  What a worthless F**K.

It’s amazing how Barr and Durham were both widely respected figures before they began looking into Obama’s corruption.

Wow, I gotta give Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers one thing, when of the of the brain-dead among them comes up with a fantasy the rest of lemmings get on board and repeat it like the Cadets and Midshipmen doing their cheers ahead of the Army Navy classic.  The difference being that Cadets and Midshipmen are honorable people.  

The latest TDS fantasy is when someone claimed to have tallied PDJT’s lies and came up with the number 10,000.  So now the lemmings drone on and on and on and on with the fantasy.  Well, I’ve totaled the lies the JG letter writers suffering from TDS have told since Nov 9, 2016. The number is – drum roll please – 50,987,832!!  No wait make it 50,987,847.  I forgot to add the 15 from Curtis Ransom’s letter “Our 10-cent president’ of Dec 12, 2019.

President Obama – the ½ cent president - lied his way through 8 years – “Ah, if you, ah, like your, ah, healthcare plan, ah you can keep, ah your, ah, healthcare plan.”  He told that one in all 57 states, what, 187,000 times?   But no one has told more whoppers than Obama’s VP Slow Joe Biden.

Everyone gives ol’ Slow Joe a pass because of the old adage: “Never attribute to a lie that which can be explained away by sheer stupidity.”  Slow Joe is an idiot on just about every subject – including his own biography.  He claims to have played football at the U of Delaware.  He didn’t.  He claims he graduated in the top half of his law school class.  He didn’t.  He claims he didn’t know that the sun rises in the east.  Sadly, that one is totally believable. 

Slow Joe’s not a liar. He’s just dumb as a hoe handle.

Has anyone noticed, the better things get in the good ol’ US of A under the incredible PDJT, the more unhinged the TDS crowd gets?  PDJT should allocate another trillion dollars for mental health spending, because when he’s re-elected in 2020 there are going to be a lot of TDS sufferers wandering about like Inspector Dreyfus, from the Pink Panther, who have been driven slowly insane by the successes of PDJT.  It’ll be a beautiful thing.           

'Our 10-cent president'

I would say that all the points Emily Mossoian made about Donald Trump (“Trump's numerous flaws are plain for all to see,” Dec. 2) are also grounds for the impeachment of this lying president we have.

Today, I rate Trump as our 10-cent president. Here is how it works: Trump claimed Mexico would pay for his wall on our southern border. Construction is going on, and Mexico hasn't contributed 10 cents to the cost.

Trump claimed he was going to pay down our national debt and even claimed he might pay it off. Not only did he not lower our national debt by even 10 cents but increased it every year by billions of dollars.

Trump also claimed that he was going to raise the minimum wage. He hasn't raised the minimum wage by even 10 cents a month.

Trump has told more than 10,000 lies.

When you see all the times the number 10 shows up, it is pretty obvious that Trump is a 10-cent president.
