We are still at war

It’ll be interesting to hear from the surrender wing of the Democrat party today. Wing? Ooops, now that Joe Lieberman has been ex-communicated, surrender IS the party. No doubt Ned Lamont, Jack(ass) Murtha, and other surrender now so that we can begin to collaborate with the Islamo-Terror-Fascists, will use the occasion of the “thwarted” airline hijackings to blame Bush. You know the dopey, “if we weren’t in Iraq they’d just leave us alone” crowd. And no, it doesn’t matter how many times you tell the Bush haters that we weren’t in Iraq on 9-11, they will persist in blaming everything that goes wrong in the world on the Iraq war. And these are the sane Democrats. The real whack jobs will be populating the cable news shows today saying, “Bush always raises the security level when his poll numbers go down.”

This page has used the “rats in the basement” analogy a couple of times. When you have rats in the basement, you cannot simply board up the basement door. The rats will soon be in the kitchen, and then in the baby’s bedroom. As unpleasant a task as it is, you must go down into the basement and root the rats out. Find out where they nest and kill the rats. Find out where they get in and seal the hole. Democrats want to create “Fortress America” - have Homeland Security guard every Wal-Mart and pizza joint in every little town across America, while John Kerry plies the terrorists to his will using his best diplomatic skills, which in this case would mean the US buying the terrorists their bombs and all in French of course.
