The truth will set you free – unless you’re talking to a left lib

Lex has noted on this page before the odd circumstances in the case of a military man accused of disrespect toward a senior that the truth is no defense.  If a junior calls a senior “a fat, lying, bastard”, it matters not if the senior is indeed 50 pounds overweight, is known not to tell the truth and in fact has no idea who his father is, the junior is guilty of disrespect.

I have been reminded of this military legal curiosity – that the truth is no defense – while listening to the wailing and gnashing of teeth of all manner of left lib with regard to the Hobby Lobby case.  The truth of the case makes no difference what-so-ever to them.  It matters not to them that the ruling affects some infinitesimally small percentage of women who work for Hobby Lobby like companies who will now find themselves in a cruel, cruel world where they will now have to rely on just 16 of the approved contraceptives instead of all 20.  Oh the humanity!

One might ask, when did it become the responsibility of any employer to pay for anyone’s birth control?  When did that go from a matter of personal responsibility to an inalienable right enshrined in the U.S. Constitution?  How free a country is this these days when the federal government can and does regulate EVERY aspect of our lives through fees, rules and restrictions?

For the left libs this ruling is not a narrowly decided case affecting a small portion of women working for an even smaller portion of American companies.  No.  To these bellowing creeps it is an assault on all women’s health.  To these hyperventilating morons the decision boils down to 5 men “denying women access to healthcare.”  As if a woman showing up this morning at the emergency room would be denied care because of Hobby Lobby.  That only happens at the VA, and it’s not because she’s a woman.  It’s because she’s a sick person.

Can they really be that stupid?  Sure they can.  After all, most of them no doubt voted for King SFB twice.  But the over the top BS on this issue is calculated.  Most know that they are spreading total BS.  That’s why the truth does not affect their argument.  They are not trying to win the argument or change minds.  There’s a mid-term election in the offing.  If RepubliRATS don’t shoot themselves in the foot, Dopes are in line for a heinous azz whipping. They are trying to gin up the Dope base – which is largely comprised of criminals, idiots and the uninformed.

BS is a tried true campaign strategy for the Dope base.  BS coupled with an ever expanding redistribution of the nation’s wealth through Dope sponsored government welfare programs is like manna from heaven to the Dope base and tough for the “personal responsibility” crowd to overcome.  Ask Mitt.

RAT Republicans may have already taken the first shot at their foot.  The debacle in MS gets seedier and seedier.  From paying for black votes to grotesque ads calling a fellow Republican a racist, the establishment candidate old, old, old white rich guy Thad Cochran’s campaign is proving to be even more disgusting than first thought.  Their BS tactics are pi**ing off  the base not just in MS but nation wide. One more screw up of this nature and Rat Republicans might as well get used to senile old Harry the roach Reid lying about and berating them from the floor of the Senate for another two years.
