It's better to win

What a blow out. Americans will soon learn that while McCain/Palin wanted to change Washington, Obama/Biden want to change America. The biggest single issue before the mid-terms – our first chance to fix this mess - is immigration.

Hey Lex, what about the war, abortion, 25% military cut, the 2nd Amendment, the Fairness doctrine, taxes, union card check etc? It won’ make any difference. If the Dems along with John gee how bad did I screw myself with that McCain/Feingold thing McCain’s help pass “a path to citizenship” for all of “God’s children” who want to wander across the border, it won’t make a bit of difference. When that happens, last night will look like a moral victory for Conservatives. When 20 million illegals become citizens with their 40 million family members who will be invited in, there will be no path for a Conservative victory in a national election.

Then the Dems will be able to convince 52% of Americans it’s fine and dandy to “spread the wealth around” that the other 48% earned. This Ponzi scheme can be sustained for a while, but eventually you end up with a 25 hour work week and young people sitting in cafes sipping coffee and smoking cigarettes complaining about their government provided apartment, government TV, government hybrid car, government heating ration and food stamp allocation.

Whose fault is it? Let's blame it on Bush. Everything else is his fault.

What did we learn?

Big government Conservatism is no match for big government Libs.

Campaign finance reform is d-e-a-d. Obama spent a billion dollars, much of it raised illegally, to get to the White House. Is any Rep ever going to sign up for public financing again? No!

We should have gone with Mitt and Fred. Mitt would have been in his element when the economic meltdown occurred and wouldn’t have been saddled with a vote for that ridiculous $700 BILLION bailout. He’d have crushed Obama in debates. We need Washington outsiders. P-A-L-I-N.

The MSM is populated with a menagerie of cartoon figures that makes Looney Tunes look staid and serious. None – right left or in between – can be taken seriously after this election.

It's better to win an election so you can win the war than to lose an election honorably so someone else can lose the war.

The best advice I’ve heard since Ohio went blue last night was on an Internet comment page: Protect your family, move south! We’ll try to re-take your homeland later.
