House complicit in Executive lawlessness

LB considers himself some kind of constitutional scholar.   Apparently, LB was out of constitutional scholar school doing blow or hitting the links the day they covered Article II section 3.  That pesky section plainly states that the executive “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”  That or he is a scholar from the Bill Ayres school of constitutional law that focuses on how best to subvert the constitution.

So when the will of the people was ignored and Robertscare was passed, LB got what he wanted, right?  Wrong?  Now it is time to implement the disaster.  It is proving impossible to do so.

So what to do?  Well in LB's world when there’s a problematic law, you ignore it like they did with DOMA or take a page from the Chief Justice and re-write it.  That is what LB has done with Robertscare.

He just rewrote the section requiring employers to insure employees under Robertscare.  He magically extended the period for employers to screw their employees with Robertscare past the mid-term election.

Republi-Rats led by a feeble, chain smoking, cowardly, wimp - John Boehner – raise not word of constitutional concern.  You’d expect someone to say, “Hold on there sparky.  We write the laws.  Your job is to enforce the laws of the land.  You have no authority to rewrite them to fit your political agenda.”

But that’s what happens when you set precedence.  Congress bent over and let John Roberts rewrite LBcare into Robertscare.  Now LB is taking a shot at it.

So what can a spineless dope like Boehner do?  Well truly, a spineless eunuch like Boehner can’t and won’t do anything except, step out for a smoke and while weeping that LB won’t give him his balls back, arrange his next golf outing with Slow Joe two blasts and a garden variety slap Biden.

Well what could be done if there was a real leader in the house?  Well, the house holds the power of the purse.  A real leader might just tell LB, “Look, we have this quaint idea of separation of powers among Separate but EQUAL branches of government.  Either you implement the entire law or suspend the entire law or we will de-fund it.”

Holy cow, that will create a constitutional crisis.  OK fine.  We’ve been in a constitutional crisis since Inauguration Day 2009.  Put the ball back in Johnny Robert’s court and see if he’s sobered up from the 10 quarts of whiskey he no doubt had to down to come up with his asinine decision on LBcare.

John!  Don’t just stand there chain smoking cigarettes, wishing you could grow another set of manly orbs. Do something!
