The pols in Washington are some of the least trusted people in America. Obamcare, Benghazi, no White House tours, voter intimidation in Philly, Fast and Furious, massive debt is no problem, and on it goes. So people may want to expand background checks but the next question should be, " Do you trust govt to not to create a national registry, use the data in other ways?". If 15% of people trust the feds then 85% do not trust the feds. Washington is not trusted...period. That is the real issue. The Griffin.
