The three viruses plaguing the US, the non-war, Ferguson

There’s a good joke circulating on AlGore’s interweb machine, a guy says to his buddy “I’m worried about this horrible virus.”  His buddy says, “Don’t worry he’ll be gone in two years.”  So America is plagued with two horrible viruses, Ebola and The Empty Suit.

Make it three, Ebola, TES and Enterovirus D68.  We are necessarily focused on Ebola.  However, the D68 virus has infected nearly 600 people, mostly children, in 43 states and caused 4 deaths.  Yet there is hardly any panic over a highly contagious respiratory infection that can cause paralysis and death in our children.  Hmm, I wonder why.

Well, conspiracy theorists are opining that the mysterious D68 disease was carried into the country during The Empty Suit’s open border rush by “unaccompanied minors.”  So close to an election the truth of the source of this virus cannot be made public lest it shock more people back to sanity and the need to control the border.

Should the D68 theory pan out, you can add 4 more deaths to the long list of people killed by this administration’s willful incompetence.

Progress on the non-war war front

By design, there is no progress on the non-war war front.  As ISIS closes in on Kobani - a Syrian town on the Trukish border - Pentagon spokesweenie and smug azz wannabe Adm Kirby assures us the loss of Kobani is no indication that The Empty Suit’s brilliant no-strategy strategy is failing.  The Kirbster would have been a perfect fit in Hitler's bunker.  The Kirbster assured us that the five strikes run that day against ISIS was the most we could do.  So sure, with thinking like that, the military is in the very best of hands.

When I refer to these pant loads as wannbe GOFOs (General Officer/Flag officer) it’s not because I think that they are dumb or don’t know their trade.  It’s because they don’t seem to want to practice their trade.  In the first Gulf War the saying was no more Vietnams.  If we’re in it, we’re in it to win it.  That seems to have gone out the window with TES’s Pentagon “yes men.”

Notice not one of them has come forward to say, “I cannot support a strategy that gives the enemy aid and comfort by telling them what we are not going to do with great specificity while refusing to engage what’s left on the table for the force to do with great vigor.  Therefore I resign my commission.”

I cannot see any great general being a party to such a half-hearted feckless effort.  My last hope is that these men are working to do the best that they can within the BS system as it stands.  Perhaps that’s even more patriotic than resigning one’s commission in a fit.  That scenario doesn’t account for Kirby’s patronizing smugness at the podium.

The usual suspects

Friends of petty thief and bully Mike Brown are warning that if there is no indictment in Brown’s death, there will be more trouble in Ferguson.  Then if there’s no conviction, there will be trouble in Ferguson.  Then if there’s no long jail sentence, there will be trouble in Ferguson.  Then if we get everything we want, there will be trouble in Ferguson.  Nice.  No justice as we define justice.  No peace.  No matter what.

You’d expect that since The Empty Suit stirred up the pot by condemning America in the same breath he condemned ISIS at the UN he’d step in with his disgrace of Attorney General to calm the situation.  Instead they side with the domestic terrorists promising violence if they don’t get their way.  Ferguson's domestic terrorists are pretty much the same as ISIS.  ISIS demands we convert or die.  Ferguson's terrorists demand we convict or there will be trouble.

And Dopes continue to think that at some point Americans will be willing to give up their guns.
