Hard to write piece on WANNABE USMC Gen Kelly

People tend to talk too much, particularly when trying to get their own point of view across. Take PDJT’s former Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelly…please.  Kelly reminds me of the old Ron White comedy line describing his arrest, “I had the right to remain silent, but I didn’t have the ability.”

Kelly, a former USMC Gen, apparently gave a 75-minute speech and Q&A at a place called Drew University Wednesday night and it was covered in Atlantic Magazine.  In my humble opinion, Kelly did not cover himself in glory in the process.

There’s something inherently off putting about former employees trashing their former boss after they’ve been unceremoniously canned for cause.  Words like bitter, disgruntled, peeved, annoyed, mad as hell, score settling, getting even, whiner, etc. come to mind.  Sadly I see a lot of that in the Atlantic’s account of Kelly’s talk and Q & A.

First, recall that PDJT’s UN Ambassador Nikki Haley accused Kelly and then Sec State Tillerson of trying to persuade her to join them in some underhanded holier than thou scheme to undermine PDJT in order to “save the country.”

Insubordination, no matter how high-minded, is still insubordination, John.  That’s probably everything a military man needs to know about John Kelly’s White House service.  Whatever he once was, Kelly, if Haley’s account is accurate, had devolved into a self-serving “I’m the smartest guy in the room” backstabbing boob in the White House.

Then there’s the curious statements in Kelly’s talk.  According to the Atlantic article:  “Vindman was rightly disturbed by Trump’s phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in July, Kelly suggested: 'Having seen something 'questionable,' Vindman properly notified his superiors, Kelly said."

Not to put too fine of a point on it Gen, you’re F--King W-R-O-N-G!!  Fat faced Vindman’s immediate superior – Tim Morrison -  was on the F—King call, John.   To put it in your own F—Ked up words, Vindman’s superiors were already properly notified, John.

Too old, dumb, arrogant or disgruntled to remember what every lieutenant learns day one at The Basic School – follow the chain of command, Kelly doubles down on his own BS with this gem:  “'He [Vindman] did exactly what we teach them to do from cradle to grave,' Kelly told the audience at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. 'He went and told his boss what he just heard.'”  Again, John, and maybe you are just too dumb or senile to know or remember this, Fat Faced Vindman’s boss WAS ON THE CALL.

I hate to call you a liar, John.  But you are either stupid, senile or, yes, a damnedable liar cleverly misremembering the facts that do not fit your BS narrative.  Which is it, John?

Then there’s this telling bit: “Kelly made clear that Trump indeed conditioned military aid on Zelensky’s help digging up dirt on the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
“That amounted to a momentous change in U.S. policy toward Ukraine—one that Vindman was right to flag, because other federal agencies needed to know about the shift, Kelly said.”
In case you slept through it at the old folk home, John, Democrats and your ilk put the country through 3 months of hell litigating this.  PDJT was acquitted for life.  You, John, are like a cheated on partner in marriage who claims that she wants to give the guy another chance but throws his infidelity up in his face if he so much as fails to heap great praise on the casserole she burnt to a crisp. It’s over, John.  PDJT beat your disgruntled azz like a little girl…again.
And this:  “’When Vindman heard the president tell Zelensky he wanted to see the Biden family investigated, that was tantamount to hearing 'an illegal order,’ Kelly said. ‘We teach them, ‘Don’t follow an illegal order. And if you’re ever given one, you’ll raise it to whoever gives it to you that this is an illegal order, and then tell your boss.’”
Okay, John, I’ll play.  Show me the illegal order anyone gave Fat faced Vindman.  There isn’t one. You saying “that was tantamount to hearing ‘an illegal order,’” don’t make it so.  You throw in the weasel word “tantamount” to prop up your own BS.  Nobody ordered to Fat Faced Vindman to do ANYTHINNG legal, illegal, in fact or tantamount.  You are just making it up, John.
Now you keep telling the same lie over and over again as if repeating it will somehow make it true. Fat Faced Vindamn’s BOSS WAS ON THE CALL.  Once you admit that, John, your whole case melts away like a snowball at 29 Palms, CA in August.
My guess is, given the esteem that you seem to hold yourself in, had any lieutenant gone behind your back at any time in your career you’d have cut them off at the knees.  You must come from the Famous Amos “F—K the troops.  The troops don’t rate” school of leadership where there is no Lejeune father son moment for anyone who crossed you like have crossed your boss.
Sore loser, pathetic whiner, simpering woe-is-me weasel, Benedict Arnold like behavior is not a good look for anyone - particularly decorated military men, John.  Grow the hell up and quietly sulk away. You’re an embarrassment.
