The unexpected consequence of global warming: Global cooling

This is interesting.  I was thinking the exact same thing as I walked the dog down to the barn last night.  The temp was 19 degrees. The normal low this time of the year is supposed to be around 33 degrees.  

No doubt when it gets colder the global warm-monger freaks will blame the whole thing on global warming.  They will say straight faced, “Well of course cooling is the natural consequence of global warming.  Everyone but the climate deniers understand this indisputable phenomenon.  Anyone who disagrees should be jailed.”

I for one am able to cope with warming a heck of lot easier than cooling. I only say that because it’s cold outside.  When it’s hot outside my position is that it’s much easier to adapt to the cold.  I do know this. It’s much easier to die from exposure in the cold than it is in the heat, and that’s my firm position until summer.

If it didn’t have such serious consequences, I’d find it comical that California officials blame the raging wild fires plaguing that state on climate change.  WTF?  Blaming fires on climate change allows these buffoons to do nothing about the real causes. “Hey look, it’s all due to climate change. What can we do?”

Whatever one believes is the cause of a dry, or even over dry, California – which is largely desert so being dry should surprise no one - clearing tinder-like undergrowth and dead fall from affected areas, thereby removing the fuel for fires, should be commonsense to anyone interested in preventing or mitigating wild fires. Ahh commonsense the rarest of all human traits among California libs.  It’s easier to find Bigfoot riding a unicorn than a Lib with commonsense in California.

So the state burns as Lib pols throw up their hands blaming global warming instead of taking available and necessary steps to limit the destruction.  Azzbags.

We need an EU army. Is this satire? It cannot be serious.

The Griffin and I have a running a joke.  It starts in high school.  I’ll say, “You should have listened to me about investing in Gender Rd property back in ‘74.”  Gender Rd was corn fields back in ‘74.  Today it’s a developed – nay over-developed - thriving commercial center. He’ll say, “Yeah, we should have sunk every nickel we had into that idea.  That would have given us, what, a ten cent investment?”

There were only two problems with our plan to speculate in Gender Rd property back in ‘74. 1) We had no idea that the land would become so valuable.  2)  Even if we had such an inkling, we had no money to capitalize on our vision.

Lex, who gives a crapola about some land speculation fantasy from nearly 50 years ago?  Well Frenchie French Emmanuel Macron for one.  Macron has this brilliant idea about creating a self-sufficient EU army to defend themselves against the Russians, Chinese and Americans.  My first response to Macron’s idea is, BWAAAHAHAHAH!  YGBSM.  You feckless azzweasels couldn’t defend yourselves against Grand Fenwick (Google it).

Does anyone, including Frenchie McFrench Macron think the EU has the stomach to pay up 100% for an EU army when the cheap sh*ts won’t pay 4% of GDP for NATO – read the US – to protect their worthless azzes?  Even if they cough up the money, does anyone believe that the EU has the stomach to fight?  I don't doubt the courage of any soldier, but I cannot believe that the body politic in the EU has the stomach for a fight.  Even if they cough up the money and are willing to fight, does anyone seriously believe that the EU can go toe to toe with the Russians, the Chinese or the US?  The four levels of French resistance remains - Threat level one: Enjoy some more wine.  Threat level two: Ignore the coming storm.  Threat level three:  Surrender.  Threat level four: Collaborate with the enemy.

The US has given Europe a 60 year free ride. Macron may have the vision of an EU army, but the entire EU doesn’t have the will or the capital to invest in an EU platoon, let alone Army. Even if they did, the army would be bogged down in interminable infighting among the competing interests in the EU. Has Macon noticed that a lot of EU partners are interested in getting the hell out the BS union?

The UK, Hungry, Greece, Italy all want out.  Right leaning parties in Germany, Austria and Sweden are advocating for withdrawal.  It’s that nasty nationalism that Frenchie Macron cannot stand raising its ugly head.  A nation’s government looking out for the interests of the people in that country is a threat to the arrogant dictates from Brussels. 

Exit question: How do you build an army from a union in which half the countries have expressed an interest of getting out of the union and half the people in the remaining counties want out?

Here’s how it’ll work.  Brussels will demand that Hungry supply three divisions to defend Estonia from the Russians.  Meanwhile EU big wigs France, Germany and Italy each supply three divisions to defend the south of Spain from a Chinese amphibious assault.

Even Macon doesn’t believe his own BS. It’s all posturing from weak weasel.  

FL Count
The MSM is still pushing the fantasy that there is “no evidence of fraud in Broward county.”  Total BS.  Not following the law is the fraud.  Not clearing the rolls of ineligible and dead voters is fraud. Not complying with transparency laws is fraud.  When you put it all together it is clear Broward County is engaging in a massive fraud.  Finding 10s of thousands of votes after the election is fraud.

Seems to me that if you want to know if the deep state in the form of the FBI and intel world conspired against the Trump campaign, you wouldn’t need to look any further the naked support for all things Demo-Dope by disgraced FBI Director Jimmy the shape shifter Comey, his azzbag twin John the first angry man Brennan, lying gasbag cure for the clap Clapper et al. They didn’t just support this Demo-Dope or that Demo-Dope they supported the Demo-Dope party lock, bump stock and barrel.

So how did these supposed a-political non-partisan “public servants” go all in for the Dopes in the mid-term?  The obvious answer is that they never were a-political or non-partisan.

Deemer laments, “We are a divided, angry nation.”  Who is the “we”?  The only anger I see is generated from the raging howler monkeys on the left. 

Conservatives aren’t shouting down leftist loons on campus.  The heckler’s veto is a tool used exclusively by the left to silence competing opinions.  Who is angrily shouting at people in restaurants, bars, movies, airports and the halls of congress?  Who is rioting in front of peoples’ houses threatening women and children?  Who is assaulting people with bike locks?  Who is rioting, smashing and burning things?  All of these activities are the tools of the angry left-wing mob.

I’m not angry.  I’m delighted.  I love turning to this page every morning to see how many negative adjectives and modifiers the next unhinged #NEVERTRUMPer can string together to describe the President of the United States, the country itself and half of their fellow citizens.

Trump overdue to become uniter

During the presidential campaign of 2016, I was dismayed by Donald Trump's divisive, mean-spirited rhetoric. I couldn't believe it.

Since being elected president, his angry rhetoric has worsened. I have waited for him to become “more presidential,” as he promised. I hoped and prayed he would listen to the advisers he chose, but he only fired them if they didn't agree with him. I have continually prayed for him in his role.

How can we teach our children to be kind and respectful, and not to bully others, when he is the example he is?

My deepest fears have now been realized. Someone who admires him has acted upon the anger and judgmentalism with violence.

When asked about the recent bombs sent to fellow Americans in the mail, Trump actually blamed the media. He takes no responsibility for the fires his angry words have set in a disturbed mind.

We are a divided, angry nation. It is a rapidly disintegrating situation worsened by the president's foolish tweets and remarks.

We need to somehow come together as Americans and we need to demand that the president tone down his angry rhetoric, swallow his pride and become the uniting leader we need.

Dope fraud will not stop until they are all locked up

Here’s how to stop all the Demo-Dope voter fraud after the election.  Don’t announce a single result until all the votes are counted and submitted – for audit – to the state Sec of State.  All absentee votes are recorded within a day of the vote being received and the absentee totals are sent to the state weekly.  Provisional ballots are stored separately and turned over to the state within 24 hours of the polls closing.  Any box of votes found after the deadline for vote submission that does not have a clear chain of custody are considered fraudulent*.

*NOTE:  This is the Dope go to ploy in FL, AZ, GA and CA.  They are still finding boxes of votes in school houses, rental cars, left on the street etc.  Someone needs to call BS on “late voting.” The OSU beat MSU 26 – 6 on Satuday afternoon.  On Sunday, when The OSU football team was back in Columbus studying (HAHA), MSU took to the field and scored three more touchdowns. It took them 7 plays and they fumbled twice, but they “won” the game with three late scores.  That is exactly what is going on in FL, AZ, GA and CA right now.  Early voting is one thing.  It’s the fraudulent late vote that’s killing off Republican candidates.

To stop the fraud, we should vote on Tues.  Results are certified and announced on the following Tues.  Under such a system, all these crooked as hell Dope county election commissioners will be frustrated as hell not knowing how many votes they have to manufacture. It’s odd that we can predict with ontological certitude where vote counting troubles are going to occur and who the troubles are going to benefit.

Republicans never – ever – benefit from an incompetent, screwed up, lazy, dumb as a bucket of sand election official.  Or even one that just makes a mistake.  How is that possible?  If 100 honest errors occur, it seems to me that Republicans ought to benefit somewhere close to 50% of the time.  When the Demo-Dopes benefit 100% of the time from “errors”, you know that it’s no error.  It’s fraud plain and simple.

Republicans never make a fuss.  If you want to know the reason why look at FL.  The focus is on Broward County’s incompetent, screwed up, lazy, dumb as a bucket of sand election official and all of that pales in comparison to corrupt nature of the woman of color* running that hot mess.

*NOTE:  There's nothing scarier to a Republican - save PDJT - than calling out an incompetent, screwed up, lazy, dumb as a bucket of sand Dope woman of color. Only PDJT has the stones to tell the truth about the incompetent, screwed up, lazy, dumb as a bucket of sand Broward County election official.  This corruptocrat has a long history of openly defying election law.  Everyone in the state knows that she’s a corrupt POS.  Yet she remains in place because the FL Republicans treat her as if she’s a dedicated public servant doing the best she can.  She dedicated all right.  Dedicated to stealing an election for the Dopes – period 

Dopes claim that there is no proof of fraud.  Bwaaahahahaha.  YGBSM!  The entire process is proof of fraud.  There are affidavits, videos and eyewitness accounts of fraud.  Last, the fact that the Dopes violated transparency laws was done specifically in order to hide the fraud.  So where there is no transparency you can assume fraud.  Well, actually you can back up one step from that. When Dopes are involved, you can assume fraud. 

Why haven’t state inspectors been dispatched to Broward to act as observers?  Why hasn’t the Sec State threatened or ordered a complete post-election certification audit of Broward County election vote counting procedures?  Deadlines are routinely missed. Transparency laws are routinely ignored. All while votes miraculously continue to appear in Broward County – all in favor of the Dopes.  It has to stop.  It won’t until someone is jailed for the corruption. Lock ‘em up.     

Someone needs to go to jail in Florida

I can understand a brain-dead Demo-Dope FL election supervisor engaging in obvious, massive and serial election fraud.  That’s what the Dopes do. Find a halfwit.  Put them in a position of authority.  Manipulate them like a five year old pushing peas around on his dinner plate.  Let the halfwit take the fall if the fraud is discovered.  Election Supervisor Brenda Snipe is the Demo-Dope’s halfwit in Broward County, FL.  

What I cannot understand is a sitting US Senator standing by mute while he benefits from what is clearly lawlessness in counting ballots in Broward County, Fl. But when you consider that the siting US Senator is the cadaverous sleazebag Bill Nelson, it all makes sense again.  Come to think of it, I cannot think of one Demo-Dope that would have the integrity and honor to order Snipes to knock it off.  Not one.

Before you think Republicans are no better, consider this. In 2000 when John Ashcroft was running for US Senate in MO, his opponent was the sitting governor, Mel Carnahan.  When Carnahan was killed in airplane crash the Lt. Governor took his place announcing that if Carnahan won the election he would appoint Carnahan’s widow to take his seat.  Carnahan won. When Republicans attempted to challenge the result in the courts, Ashcroft would have none of it.  He ordered them to stop at a press conference.

What’s going on in FL is a demonstration of why Demo-Dopes cannot be trusted.  They want it too bad.  If Bill Nelson is willing to cheating the people of FL, he’s not fit draw a breath let alone exercise any power more than choosing what kind of Happy Meal he wants at a McDonald's restaurant.

But that is exactly where we are Mr. & Mrs. America.  Dopes think voter fraud is a legitimate way to win elections. This is always what happens in close elections. Dopes just keep counting votes that turn up in some poll worker’s trunk weeks after the election until the Dope takes a one vote lead and then all counting stops and the Dopes declare victory.  When is the last time a trunk load of Republican votes turned up in one these close elections?  It never happens.

By all accounts election fraud has been an ongoing problem in Broward County with Brenda Snipes. Until FL prosecutes these cases handing down stiff fines and jail time, the Dopes will be able to recruit halfwits like Snipes to do their dirty work.

Lex has noted on this page that the kind of BS going on in Broward County is the precursor to civil war.  When the people can longer trust the integrity of the election process they have no other recourse.  What other option is left?  Voters show up to make their opinion known only to have that opinion overturned by the shenanigans of a crooked election supervisor.

Wow. It took less than week for the resistance to show their hand for the 2020 campaign.  The Lib’s new song?  Same as the old song. No ideas.  No policies.

Replacing ideas and policies for Lib’s is the opening argument that anyone who puts America’s interests first is a racist.  Anyone who believes that a country ought to protect its borders is white supremacist. Any conservative who speaks on campus is a Nazi.  No matter what PDJT does, he is Hitler.

I have to give Gosheff credit though. I haven’t heard any of the unhinged #NEVERTRUMPERs compare their political opponents to Herod yet.  If he’d only thought to disparage the majority of Hoosier voters with that ridiculous argument earlier in the campaign, I’m sure Joe Donnelly and Courtney Tritch would have carried the vote on Nov 6^th.

Saturday marks the 243^rd birthday of the United States Marine Corps – OOORAH!  A friend got me two free tickets to MC Ball in Ft. Wayne.  It’ll be the first ball I’ve been to in about 10 years, so I’m looking forward to the event.

Oh, by the way, by the time I rent a tux, buy Mrs’ Lex a dress and pay for a few drinks, the “free tickets” will only cost me about $300.  Worth every penny.  Happy birthday Marines!

There’s been a mass shooting in a CA country western night club.  CA has pretty strict gun laws.  That does not make a difference.  My guess is that by 6:30 – before anything about the shooter or motive is known - Demo-Dopes who now run the house will be proposing all manner of ineffective gun laws that will do nothing but restrict law abiding people from owning a firearm.  Elections have consequences.

I’m old enough to remember when PDJT nominated Jeff Sessions.  Ten seconds later the Demo-Dopes went to their default argument.  They called him a racist.  After all, they reasoned, who has a middle name like Beauregard who isn’t a racist? To them, sadly, their logic is irrefutable.

Now PDJT has fired the most ineffective Attorney General ever.  He was a lame duck two days after he was sworn in. The firing was the least surprising surprise in the history of surprises.  The same MSM people putting on their shocked faces at the firing yesterday afternoon have been speculating for months how long it would take PDJT to fire Sessions after the midterm. Not long.

The azzbag media are now calling it constitutional crisis.  They are speculating that Mueller is next to be fired by the renegade president.  My guess is that no one in America has more job security than Boob Nifong Mueller.  Boob is like an incompetent brother in law working the bar in your restaurant.  He's your wife’s favorite little brother. For the sake of your family life you tolerate the little sh*t while figuring out the best way to minimize the damage the azzbag can do.  

What has changed with Sessions’ sacking is that Boob might now have someone interested in scope of his “investigation.”  Someone might be interested in the plethora of conflicts of interest among Boob’s team.  Someone might release the guideline of Boob’s investigation.  Someone might require Deputy AG Rosenstein to explain the investigation to congress.  Dopes, crooked FBI types, deep states DOJ azzbags are all in high dudgeon at the firing that might serve to expose their own double dealing – much of it probably illegal.

If you needed more proof that the midterm was a victory for PDJT, you need look no further than yesterday’s presser.  The press was not in victory mode.  They were more hostile than usual.  They were angry.  There was no – “Well that was a shellacking” from PDJT and the press was livid that they didn’t get that sound bite.

The press couldn’t allow PDJT to claim any semblance of victory so they went after him – for an hour and half.  PDJT crushed them.  Just standing there for the period of time indicated he had won.  Who stands there taking BS for 90 minutes if they aren’t getting the better of it?

It’s all perspective of course. Jim Acosta probably thinks he’s a Pulitzer Prize candidate now for assaulting a girl during the briefing.  Do they give Pulitzers for rude boorish behavior? 

I watched it live and when that went down all I could think was, “What a dick.”  Who could look at the video and not think Acosta was anything other than a prick?  How long does that douche think he should be able to talk?  Does anyone else in the room have the right to ask a question or is it the Jim Acosta show? 

CNN, instead of firing the azzbag within 30 minutes, is courageously standing by the little weasel.  Fantastic.  Like the Kavanaugh hearings, the average American can look at the tape and see for themselves what pure bags of sh*t Acosta and the Borg known own as CNN are.  They cannot cover it up.  No amount of faux outrage can change the tape.  CNN’s next statement will be, “Who you gonna believe, us or your lyin’ eyes?”

The White House has pulled Acosta’s credentials – something CNN should have done. Now the MSM Borg is falling in line asking for a boycott of the daily briefing until the credentials are restored.  That suits me fine.  Get the weasels out.  Hold the briefing as usual until they begin to trickle back in. 

I used to hold office hours after 1630 formation on Friday.  It was amazing how supposed “witnesses” would fail to materialize at that hour.  Loyalty to support a BS story only runs so deep.  Same with the briefing.  Reasonable people know that Acosta was wrong as he could be.  Watch how long it takes for the MSM to dump Acosta when it begins to affect their air time.

The return of civility

I got up this morning to check returns, and I was mildly happy.  Stream of consciousness on those results:

Civility.  Well, well, well according to Shrillda the Hutt, a new era of civility has begun!  It appears as if the Demo-Dopes will control the House with around 10 seats to spare. So the Dopes will drop the resistance and begin to cooperate to Make America Great Again…right?   Bwahahahahahah.  YGBSM.  Bwaahahahahahah.  The best we can hope for is not to get our cars keyed or hit in the head with a bike lock form this bunch.

Biggest delight.  After the sheesh canning of Dope Mexico Joe Donnelly in my home state of IN, if the counts hold, it is a tossup between the defeat of the fossilized Bill Nelson in FL and mountain of sh*t Jon Tester in Montana. Bye-bye weasels.

Biggest disappointment.  Loss of the WI governorship.  Scott Walker is good guy who brought the state around and had to fight every step of the way.  Conflict in politics might be like extended wars, people just want the conflict to stop.

Biggest surprise.  The rather narrow lead for the Dopes in the House.  There may not be enough wacked out Dopes available on one side and too many on the other to make Grand Nan from San Fran Pelooser the speaker. I think the Dope infighting begins during the vote for Speaker of the House and runs all the way through 2020.  If the Dopes sheesh can her, it’ll be my new Biggest delight.

Heroes.  Mitch McConnell held Scalia’s seat open through the 2016 election.  Then he got Gorsuch and Kavanaugh confirmed.  Cryin’ Chuckles the Clown Schumer who chose Supreme Court nominees as the hill Dope senate candidates would die on.  They did. Diane Feinstein who chose to trigger the most transparently despicable stage show in politics and in the process galvanized Republicans. Harry the roach Reid who made the nuclear option possible.  One Republican and three Dope heroes, so who says Lex isn’t bipartisan?

Villains.  45 scared Republican house members who quit rather than fight through the “blue wave.”  Good riddance.

Opportunities.  PDJT is in the driver’s seat.  1) As the first test of the Dopes intentions, he can put forth an infrastructure bill. If the Dopes cooperate, PDJT will take the credit.  2) PDJT can continue to ask for funding the wall.  If the Dopes resist, they look weak. Perfect opportunity to paint Dopes into a corner on immigration once and for all.  3) Dopes have bitched that PDJT’s middle class tax cut was crumbs.  PDJT should call their bluff and continue to advocate for a 10% middle class tax cut.  What will the Dopes do?  4) Find 10 or so moderate Dopes and have them to the White House every Friday for lunch and find common ground. 5) PDJT and Mitch McConnell can continue to confirm constructionist federal judges – maybe another Supreme Court Justice. I’m sure one of the first things Dopes do every morning is check the headlines to see if Ruth Bader Ginsberg is still with us.  6) Holding the senate means PDJT’s trade and treaty policies will go through.

Pitfalls.  PDJT has to start taking the deficit seriously. Anything done to accommodate the Dopes will cost billions and billions of dollars.  PDJT should avoid the Dope method of buying votes.

Dangers. The appeal to free sh*t taking hold in FL, GA, AZ, making those state elections closer than they should be cannot be comforting for 2020. FL voted to allow felons to vote.  That’s a solid Dope block for 2020. As close as the state is right now, felons could be the difference. Mainstream and Social media are threats to the republic.  They don’t even pretend to be evenhanded anymore.

Bottom line. I think PDJT will come out ahead.  He’ll deal with Dopes. If they don’t deal with him they’ll look like azzbags.  He’ll go into 2020 strong either way.                                  

It's tough to run against free sh*t

Today’s another test whether the American people prefer an opportunity to seek their greatest potential or are willing to stand at the trough waiting for their overlords to turn on the gruel machine for their daily ration.  It’s pretty much that simple.  Republicans run on opportunity.  Demo-Dopes run on handing out free sh*t. 

It’s hard to beat free sh*t Mr. and Mrs. America. They offer free healthcare – “It’s a right not a privilege!”  They want everyone – including illegal aliens - to go to college for free. Internet access is a right - free. Housing, food, transportation, cell phones, prescriptions, pizza night, etc. etc. all free.  

We’re not against a safety net.  It’s when the net become a hammock that we become skeptical. Someone  - Ben Franklin I think – said no one should be made comfortable in their poverty.  The motto for the Demo-Dope socialist agenda today is: Vote Demo-Dope it beats working for a living 

It makes little sense to us who want nothing more than the government to get the hell out of our lives, but it’s hard to beat Santa Claus.  Dopes show up with a sleigh full for free sh*t.  Republicans show up with nothing but an opportunity to reach your full human potential. 

Free sh*t is appealing to a large percentage of people.  That’s why these things always seem so tense and so close.  The dangerous thing is that once a country goes too far down the free sh*t Rd. it’s hard to get the ship of state turned around. 

When the Dope party turns full on socialist/communist, every election becomes the election of our life-time, because it’s that important. 

So we have to go to the polls in great numbers and turn back the Dope agenda where ever possible.  Go vote.

Daylight savings time
Humans shouldn’t be tampering with time.  It’s not natural. Daylight saving time is total complete 100% BS.  The way I know is the dog still wants out and the horse still wants to be fed by 8 am EST.  Springing ahead and falling behind is something they just will not under any circumstances tolerate – okay, okay, okay they will tolerate getting out and fed early but definitely not late, and you cannot have one without the other.

Size matters
Remember PDJT’s inauguration?  The media was all about the size of the crowd.  During the run up to the midterms PDJT is drawing 10’s of thousands at rallies. The Empty Suit can’t fill a high school gym.  Slow Joe couldn’t draw a crowd big enough for a card party.  So where are all the stories on crowd size now?

SNL’s shameful skit
I used to be critical of college and pro athletes.  I rarely am these days*. First, I watch so little of sports the opportunities are few and far between.  Next, it dawned on me years ago, that even at my peak I could never approximate what these guys do. Last, no one is out there to screw it up.  They’re all doing their level best.  So there is no point in me shouting at the TV telling everyone in the room where the strong man failed.

*NOTE:  Coaches are still fair game.  If you need a yard on 3rd down and you know you’re going to go for it on 4^th, don’t start the play 7 yards deep in your own backfield.  Don’t run a double revers.  And you’d better give the ball to a running back on at least one of the plays.  That’s all I ask.

I sort of got the same feeling when I heard about the double d-bag on SNL, Pete Davidson, mocking a wounded former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw.

Davidson is clearly not fit to shine Crenshaw’s shoes. He’s weak.  He’s no more capable of doing the things Crenshaw has than Lex is play linebacker in the NFL.  I’d like to see a bare knuckles fight between the two, proceeds going to charity.  I think they’d get one taker.  My guess is that Davidson would not be available for comment.

Demo-Dopes want to snatch your guns away under a ruse called “commonsense gun safety.”  The ruse requires that the Dopes nibble at the edges of the Second Amendment politically while their stooges in courts make the frontal assault on America’s first freedom.  The endgame is always the same – wrest firearms from the American people.

Lex has always maintained that the only thing standing between the Dope and their ultimate goal is the Second Amendment.  Lex has often pointed that confiscation is a political loser for the Dopes and they know it.  Otherwise they would recommend a repeal and replacement for the Second Amendment. So they’ve adopted the “common sense gun safety” ruse to disguise the ultimate goal. 

The Dopes whine that the founders never could have predicted the lethality of modern weapons.  If they could have divined the march of technology, they never would have advocated for the right of the masses to own modern weapons. 

That argument is, of course, total BS. The founder were aware of the inevitability of repeating firearms. Now apply the same standard to the right of free speech.  Could the founders have foreseen an era where every unemployed PJed up loser could publish a daily flyer that could be read world-wide  - aka a blog?  But no one but campus Liberals, Facebook tech bullies, the Dope party and the MSM are calling for limits to free speech – always yours never theirs.

So if the Dopes thought that gun confiscation was necessary and correct they’d do the right thing and propose a “modern Second Amendment.”  They never have.  As far as I know, no serious Dope Pol has ever offered a vision of what a new Second Amendment might look like.

Juxtapose the left’s BS shenanigans on the Second Amendment to the right’s tactic on the 14^th. I do not what all of the legal arguments are for and against ending birthright citizenship under the 14^th, but I do know smart people have made legitimate arguments for restricting it.  I do know that polls show a majority of Americans favor ending or restricting it.

I doubt that a Presidential Executive order, even if legal, is the best way to go.  A law passed through congress defining birthright citizenship brings permanency and a wider consensus to the issue.  A Constitutional Amendment would settle the issue in the broadest terms.  I’m happy to go down that road.  Get timid both sides of every issue pols on the record.  Let’s do what Dopes will never do Re: the Second Amendment.  Vote on it.

Well we’re in the home stretch.  TV is unwatchable with 3 minutes of “________ is lying hypocrite not fit to draw a single breath of pure Indiana air…” every commercial break.  Cable news is unwatchable, polls, polls, polls one contradicting another.  Anyone remember 2016? 

FNC (the F is increasingly for Fake) is running apiece on how the MS senate seat may determine the balance of power in that chamber.  Brett Baier – a nice enough guy – went through what seemed an endless series of what-ifs: “if Reps lose these 7 seats and pick up these 7-8 and then lose or split 4 of these close seats, then the 4 way race in MS will determine the balance of power in the senate.” If you have to go through that many hoops I suppose you could make a do or die case for every single seat in congress. 

I’ve seen polls marking races even one day and then a particular candidate up or down 7 points the next.  I think that’s as good an indication as any that the polls are total BS.  Just this morning a poll in AZ shows the Rep up as much as 7 and then a FNC poll shows the Dem with a slight lead. 

I guess, as always, it boils down to voting.  The talking heads make a big case about early voting. I don’t know why.  No matter how early you vote, you still only get one vote, right?  (I know, the rule doesn’t apply to Dopes.) So what difference does it make? I suppose it’s the old bird in the hand rule.  Weather, illness, car problems etc. might keep you from the polls on Election Day if you wait.  So the early votes, which I can be categorized by party somehow, are as good an indication as any of voter intensity.  

I will crawl naked over broken glass to vote on Nov 6^th. I enjoy voting in person. I go early.  When I arrive – before polls open – there’s always a line.  Some trying to be the first vote in the precinct, some headed to work, some headed home form the night shift.  But it’s always been a nice polite gathering. 

My guess is that there’s not one person who really knows how this is going to pan out on Tuesday.  Someone will get it right, but those correct predictions, like buying a lottery ticket, will have more to do with luck than any predictable scientific method or model.

Well if we lose, will it be okay for us to assault Dopes on the streets, run them out of restaurants and sow revolt?

The O went down to Georgia to stump for the Dope candidate for Gov.  Fine, anyone who follows The O’s lead on politics is an idiot.  What strikes me is the fawning praise for The O, even on FNC, for what sounds an awful lot like a racist rant to me.

WTF?  If you don’t’ vote Dope you’re disgracing the memory of blacks who were lynched, BY DEMOCRATS, who were humiliated, BY DEMOCRATS, who were discriminated against, BY DEMOCRATS, who were suppressed, BY DEMOCRATS who were repressed BY DEMOCRATS and oppressed BY DEMOCRATS. Somehow The O left “BY DEMOCRATS” out.

Today's JG rant education

Lex has railed against the 19^th century one-size-fits-all public education model that is still in use in America today.  The only thing that has changed in this model is that in the 19^th century American children actually learned to read, write, add and subtract, now they don’t. Instead they learn all manner of Leftist folderol designed more to make children a reliable vote for Dopes and their hare-brained policies rather than functioning members of a modern society.

FWCS incumbents worthy of new terms

I've appreciated The Journal Gazette's coverage of the upcoming school board race. It's encouraging to see three at-large candidates bringing some much-needed attention and competitiveness to a race that often flies under the radar. With that said, it's clear that Maria Norman and Anne Duff should be re-elected. Both have approached their current terms with high levels of professionalism and demonstrated success.

Maria Norman brings a fresh, local perspective and has a bright future ahead of her in service to our community, while Anne Duff's rich professional experience adds balance to the board. Both clearly understand the broad strategic challenges facing the state's largest school district and have routinely taken nuanced, student-first positions. I trust both with the  challenge of replacing our nationally recognized superintendent in 2020.

Please join me in voting for Maria Norman and Anne Duff for the Fort Wayne Community Schools board.

If FWCS were a professional sports team, based on the record, the coach (Superintendent) would have been fired mid-season. If it were a publicly traded company, the Board of Directors would have sacked the CEO (Superintendent) long ago. 

FWCS, particularly FWCS high schools, are not very good.  To keep hiring the same people to run the system while expecting a better result, is foolish.  Clean house.  Start with new people with new ideas.  What do you have to lose? 

I do not question any of the current officeholders’ commitment to FWCS.  I do question the results.  I do question why they remain doggedly tethered to a failed 19^th century one-size-fits-all model for public education.  I do question why the same schools that were abysmal 5 years ago are still abysmal today. 

Every coach and CEO commits to winning.  Not all are capable for myriad reasons. Lincoln went through a number of commanders until he found Grant to lead the Union Army. Maintaining the status quo at FWCS is akin to Lincoln sticking with George McClellan after his failed Peninsula Campaign.
