Craig should have changed party

Sen Craig is gone, good. I assume that the MSM will now turn their high dudgeon on other creepy politicians. Impeached former FL judge Alcee Hastings would be a good target. Male prostitution leader Barney Frank would seem to fit. Cold cash William Jefferson had a $100,000 of FBI marked cash in his freezer for some reason. Then there is the consummate ladies man and protector of women’s rights – unless that woman happens to be drowning in the back seat of his car – fat, drunk, Teddy Kennedy. None of these (g)assbags will take the MSM’s notice. They are all Democrats. A friend told me Craig could have avoided the whole mess if early on he’d just changed his party affiliation.

Politics is an honorable calling. For the most part, the people who answer that calling are not. And it ain’t just Dems. There’s a whole raft of arrogant Reps as well – Ted Stevens comes to mind. The common denominator in these crooked things and just the overwhelming arrogance and sense of entitlement of the whole D.C. lot is that most of these (g)assbags have been in Washington for so long that they actually think that they are better than the mechanic with grease under his finger nails. Then when the people of this nation rise up against the (g)assbag class, as they did during the Grahamnesty bill, pols like Diane Feinstein call us racists. Feinstein, by the way could be added to the list above for steering lucrative government contracts to her husband’s firm while she sat on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

I’ve never been a big fan of term limits. I thought elections served the purpose limiting terms well enough. I’ve changed my mind - two terms for a Senator, six for a congressman – and no fancy retirement.
