Special disasters

Dems and their MSM lemmings are leaping for joy. Reps continue to wring their hands. About what? Special elections that’s what. Dems have swept three heretofore safe Rep seats. I’m not wringing my hands because the Dems have placed three more social and fiscal conservatives among themselves. Besides, I walked away from the Rep party during the immigration BS and I ain’t going back. The only thing these results tell me is that, everything else being equal, Americans would rather have conservative Dems in government than conservative Reps.

Unfortunately, Reps like McCain think it’s a sign that they should try to be Dem Lite. Yeah, we’re for government health care but ours is less expensive. Sure we hate big oil too but we want to suspend the federal tax on gas for 3 months. Yes we’ve bought into the global warming hoax as well, but we want capitalism to find the cure to the non-existent problem. Hint to John McCain here, cap and trade is NOT a capitalistic solution to the non-existent problem. It’ll be an unseen tax on everything produced.

I look at these Rep loses just like a look at gas prices. The worse it gets the sooner someone will wake the hell up and do something about it. I don’t know how many seats the Reps will have to lose before they decide hey:

Maybe it’s a good idea to be energy independent and do the things necessary to make it happen.

Islamo-terror-fascism is the biggest danger facing America and we’d better get serious about it.

Universal healthcare is going to lead us to another unaffordable socialist government program.

The government is too big and takes too much of what Americans earn. Stop taking Americans’ money to redistribute to other less productive Americans or waste it on bridges to nowhere.
