D-Day and the Border

Got chemo yesterday so blogging will be light and more incoherent than usual for the next few days.

D-Day
The family Lex were in Normandy on Jun 6th, something, something.  I don’t know if it’s just D-Day or every day, but they play tap every half hour – I think – at the American cemetery.  It’s hard not to shed a tear.  I feel, as Lincoln did, at a total loss to add or detract from what happen that day or to describe the weight of looking out across the cemeteries and battlefields brings. “
The brave men, living and dead, who struggled [there], have consecrated it, far above [my] poor power to add or detract.”  If I had to, I would use but four words to sum it up: beautifully inspiring, awesomely heroic.

Border security
Mrs. Lex and I watched the news last night as clips showed the
unrelenting flood of undereducated, untrained, unskilled, unhealthy swarm of illegal aliens with absolutely no intention of integrating into American culture flowed over our border.  Only half kiddingly I said, “We’ll probably have shoot one two to stop this madness.”  Mrs. Lex made a much saner proposal, “We need to be shooting the people in congress.”  That statement rings with an undeniable, irrefutable logic.

The Rat establishment Republican bastard senate caucus, these wizards of smart who all know what’s best for America so they have driven the country 22 TRILLION dollars in debt and created this unmanageable mess at our border, now tell us PDJT holding the corruptocrat Mexican government accountable for their hand in the mess won’t work. They claim they worry about the cost of Mexican tariffs on the middleclass working families.

It’s total BS.  Not put too fine a point on it, they are all f-ing liars. They don’t give a rat’s behind about Americans.  If they did they’d have fixed the border long ago.  Who do these dumb azzes think pays the cost of suppressed wages by the unrelenting flood of undereducated, untrained, unskilled, unhealthy swarm of illegal aliens pouring into the labor market effects the most?  Who do they think is being crushed by the cost and the strain on a community’s limited social services?  Whose schools are being flood with disease ridden non-English speaking free riders?

I have not seen anyone ask Lex’s one time Man of the Year Mitch the switch McConnell any of those questions.

For their part, Demo-Dopes are long on complaining and short on policies to correct the situation at the border.  What have they done?  Complain.  That’s it.  PDJT ought to lay down a marker for one workable idea for securing the border near-term from the Dopes before the tariffs take effect.  They do not have even one idea.
