Important stuff

The Mexico deal
First, and this very important, the Mexican government is dominated by corrupt double-dealing thieves and creeps.  Any deal arrived at with this corrupt mob is likely not to be worth the paper it is written on without close and continuous monitoring and heavy sanctions for failure.

The 90 day warm up period ought come with a promise of 15% tariffs if the deal fails. We should not go back to the 5% level.  Put the screws to the Mexican corrupt-O-crats if they fold.

What’s odd – not really – is watching the Rat establishment Republican and Demo-Dope reaction to PDJT’s success on this issue.  They are decrying the use of tariffs as a tool to get the corrupt Mexican government to cooperate with us to secure our border.

What do they propose?  Armed force?  I'm all for sending a couple of divisions 20 miles into Mexico and wiping out cartels, corrupt border officials and stopping illegal aliens 20 miles short of the US border.  Let's do it.

What US do-nothings propose is, as always, doing nothing.

These ReRs and Dopes are actually considering legislation to limit PDJT’s use of tariffs in the future.  WTF?  No good deal goes unpunished.

This is proof positive that the ReRs are worse than the corrupt-O-crats in Mexico. They are just the worst kind of azzweasels.  Borderline treasonous scum.

The Dopes – on the other hand - are treasonous scum.  This open borders BS being perpetrated on the American people by the Demo-Dope Party is an open effort to change the demographics of the nation through illegal migration so that Texas becomes the next California.

2020 could be the end of America as founded.

More on this tomorrow.

US national interests trump Yemen’s
Indiana Senator Todd Young has teamed up with Demo-Dope Senator Chris Murphy from CT to undermine PDJT with Saudi Arabia vis-a-vie Yemen.  Here’s my note to Todd Young:

First off let me state unequivocally, there are no good players in the Middle East.  They are all double-dealing, backstabbing, worthless, backward scum residing in the sh*thole of the world’s sh*tholes.  I don’t care. It’s not about them.  It’s about us.

What’s happening in Yemen is a tragedy that has not one thing to do with or any bearing on US national interests for now.

What’s happening in Iran DOES have immediate and long-term bearing on US national interests.  What’s happening in Yemen, as sad as it is, should not force us to take our eye off the immediate long-term threat of Iran.

Because of its status as the custodians of the two holiest sites in Islam, Saudi Arabia has an inordinate amount of sway over our GCC allies.  If we lose SA we’ll likely lose the GCC and then lose our counterweight to Iran in the region.

Is Yemen worth it?  No.  Not right now.  Once Iran’s nuclear ambitions are dealt with, there will be time for Yemen.  Remember, it’s US interests that should come first, not Yemen’s.

A pay raise for congress is like paying bums to live under a bridge
Congress wants a raise.  They do not deserve one, and PDJT should veto any effort to give these weasels one more dime.

Here’s what we should do.  In days of old, congress was not paid a salary.  Instead they were given a per diem payment for when they were in Caligula, D.C. doing the country’s business.  We should return to this arrangement.

These azzweasels do not get paid unless they are actually in Caligula, D.C. working on behalf of the American people.  A business day consists of 8 hours with half hour for lunch.  No more gaveling in the hearing at 1pm.  Taking a two hour lunch break at 1:30.  Gaveling out at 3pm.  No more starting the work week at noon on Wednesday and knocking off at 1pm on Friday for the weekend.  No more endless holiday recesses.

Why not try it.

Nobody can be this dumb – without actually trying
Re: Edwaard J. Frank’s letter, “
Do-nothing party label can't be put on Democrats” of Jun 11,2019

Frank’s ludicrous idea that PDJT’s booming economy “was a gift from Barak Obama” is disproved with this easy test: Name one economic policy that PDJT has continued that was in place under Obama.  I'll wait.

Frank’s argument on the economy, like all Democrat policy arguments these days, is one for simpletons and a true test of just how far the public education system has sunk.  If Frank and those like him believe their own foolishness, we’re in serious trouble.

I’m heartened that nobody, not even Democrats, are that stupid.  Like the rooster taking credit for the sunrise, Frank’s dumb argument is just a very preposterous and transparent political gambit and proof positive that, aside from promising “free everything,” the Democrats have no ideas.

As far as the other accomplishments of the most consequential president in 60 years:

Who moved the US embassy to Jerusalem?  PDJT.
Who defeated the ISIS caliphate?  PDJT.

Who scuttled US participation in the Paris Accords, TTP, Iran nuclear deal and NAFTA?  PDJT.

Who approved the XL and Dakota pipelines?  PDJT.

Who brought hostages and US remains home from N. Korea?  PDJT.

Who got NATO to pony up for their own defense?  PDJT.

Who is singlehandedly defending the US southern border?  PDJT.

Who is singlehandedly taking China to task for its 40 year ransacking of the US economy?  PDJT.

Who has made a good-faith effort to bring N. Korea into the family of nations?  PDJT.

Who has removed 1,000s upon 1,000s of business strangling regulations from the books?  PDJT.

Do-nothing party label can't be put on Democrats
In the May 31 letters column, David L. Nichols waxed enthusiastic concerning Donald Trump's “many” accomplishments. His list was notably short, pointing only to an economy “firing on all cylinders” and low unemployment.
He fails to realize that the economy was a gift from Barack Obama and its continued rising arc is a continuation of the economy Obama had going for seven years.
As to the low unemployment numbers, several sources lay part of that to the fact that many Americans cannot make it on one job and are holding two or more jobs to make their income workable.
If that is the sum of Trump's accomplishments, it should be noted they aren't.
He goes on to state that the Democratic House has done nothing but ramp up impeachment rhetoric. In fact, the House under Nancy Pelosi has passed more than 100 bills relating to health care, child care, election reform and environmental issues which are currently sitting on Sen. Mitch McConnell's desk collecting dust.
It is plain which party is doing nothing.
